  1. Only point I would disagree is at the back, McGhee said Hall should be fit for Tuesday, in which case I'd have him and Mick at the back.
  2. ha ha God was actually on the bench, having signed til the end of the season
  3. Some truth in that but it's a thankless shift playing on his own up front with a midfield just not pushing on to support him. If they did then he'd actually have space to run into and move No wonder he moans On paper the 4-5-1 / 4-3-3 should fit with Ainsworth and Johnson, but it isn't working. 4 4 f cking 2 that'll do me Keep the midfield tight but have two up front to link and occupy the defence
  4. Nice sentiments but way too many changes to adapt toInviting the clusterf¥ck of the season
  5. Pearson and Ainsworth were passengersGomis over-laboured too much on the ball Law had some nice touches, but his decision making in defending is too slow and it costs us. Johnson laboured for 90 minutes and put in a few good balls Cadden grows in confidence by the week McDonald just had the thankless task of being isolated up front , he worked hard but was drawn far too deep Hammell McManus and Kennedy just didn't look solid enough at all Moult changed things up a bit Thomas looked at least up for it On the whole though, pish
  6. Conor Ripley But for him today could've been an absolute capitulation
  7. £23 is exploitation Would a 23rd minute walk out be a bit drastic ??
  8. Not exactly vocal ON the park.No leadership No threat up front Bad decision making Another opponent allowed to waltz through the middle unopposed and get a shot away Echoes of last season
  9. not good enough Tactically mystifying Nobody wanted to win enough Tuesday is monumentally important . Based on today we look fcked
  10. Just watched Big Mick previewing the Killie game. A prickly one, he was far from impressed at the suggestion that the late goals were fitness related. Doing his best to share the blame around, in contrast to McGhee. All a bit terse, we'll be losing our cuddly family club tag if we're not careful. Bring on Saturday, time to stand up and be counted
  11. Just a thought but if we don't start climbing the league then the last home game crowd is liable to be so low we'll all be having our own personal steward for the day...
  12. Perhaps we could tattoo the seat number onto or foreheads to facilitate recognition by the beaks at a later date? Or just pay £500 a head in advance to cover the fine? Or perhaps just act like responsible grown ups while still supporting our team? To be honest all three sound equally implausible
  13. I'm afraid I just don't see a foul on Gomis, he was just outmuscled. Two or three half-hearted challenges after that before he shot, poor effort. At the first I think Ripley and Kennedy assumed the other was going for it. Law didn't as much challenge as spectate . C'est la vie. If only .... File it under déja vu, or have I done that already?
  14. A wordy piece. Clearly not happy about our failure to follow the pretty non-existent ticket allocation guidelines. More concerned by the criticism of the failure to identity the miscreants who invaded the pitch. Have we tried/ if not why not. What sanctions have/ will we impose. Wonder where the " what the f ck do I do with a burning flare" classes are held Not a glory day for us
  15. For me the problem with Lasley is the simple observation that he commits more and more "all or nothing " tackles- but ,unlike a few seasons ago , he just doesn't spring back to his feet and get back in the game quickly enough. Costly in that it leaves midfield gaps which our opponents exploit all too often. Gomis is no spring chicken but on yesterday's showing he looks a more solid option
  16. Gomis for me.composure under pressure. Particularly given that the middle of the park looked liked a game of fives being played in a phone box
  17. I wish someone had shown Pearo the" How to play in the number 10 role" Clearly no idea how to do it, glaringly apparent to everyone except the Omniscient One
  18. I have never seen such an ego-centric person. How dare we , as mere paying punters, have the audacity to question his wisdom. Going to two up front would have likely lost Us another goal? Ffs, by the time we equalised we could've been three or four down, and had shown next to nothing in attack. And the traditional deflection of blame, IT'S NEVER HIM, IS IT!?! What a disappointment to exit the Cup again, with barely a whimper.
  19. Tactical pish.Mastermind McGhee sets us out to totally nullify the game, produces an utter shitfest-IN A CUP TIE! What the feck was the point in that??? His post- match will be another bout of verbal diarrhoea. I can understand keeping it tight in the initial phase, but to have Skippy isolated and receiving appalling service and not change it for 80minutes??? Bad management or plain bloody mindedness? Could well actually be both sadly
  20. Just listened to the pre match with Mark McGhee. Typically verbose, but that's the name of the game I suppose. What saddens me more is that , as per Twitter, only Clyde turned up. Two Premiership clubs, the Scottish Cup, the Holders. And clearly nobody else actually gives a flying f*ck. Quite disappointing, to put it mildly...
  21. I've tried the"let he who is.... cast the first stone" line on the Mrs before. Word to the wise, don't say it while anywhere near rubble. Bled for days...
