Well we seem to have insurrection in the ranks. A dichotomy as it were. Lionel Ainsworth? Or Mark McGhee? If I could perhaps throw a third hat into the ring? Motherwell FC, its league position, its progress in the Cup, its future . Too much in-fighting for my liking. We need a seige mentality not a fishwife convention. Who's right and who's wrong? Everyone and no-one. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone and all that . I will be supporting each and every one on Saturday. We have the opportunity to progress and move on, and we can all play our part. Because that's what actually matters, isn't it?

I think James's luxuriant barnet should have its own agent. It's even more lush than the hallowed turf at Fir Park. I'd be more than happy for him to stay til the end of the season at least. He needs a couple of bits of magic to come off and he'll be up and running .

Vigurs was a show-boating passenger, dogged by bad luck and with a propensity to basically jog round the centre circle while the game raged on around him. Please don't hold him up as some Pirlo-esque kind of genius.

Saw that coming as i listened . Turgid stuff Livened up with the subs coming on. No illusions, we're still in the shitter. -
Like a good bowel clearance , it'll help sharpen the vision. We're trading at a loss and with the exception of Grimshaw( who we have replaced) not a single departure has weakened us. FIscal prudence, whatever next? If Faddy stays and helps develop the youths and we can cherry pick one more first team standard out of contract, then it'll be a job well done. Much preferable to the scatter-gun approach of IB

A Major Tom?The lad's insane...

I Faddys out of contract any day now, is there a tearing hurry to tie him down Shouldn't we be focusing on guys who we need to put pen to paper before midnight? And just to clarify, I'd love to sign him on again, God-like genius who belongs with Motherwell

Be like breaking a magic spell, the Big fella had a magical season. Best kept as a memory,

Thanks for the Pittodrie winner Craig. And for sussing out that you are well and truly out of the picture. He'll do a job for someone( plastering, bricklaying?) A journeyman full back who could charge up and down all day , to limited effect . You can tell I'm missing him already

Fits with the club Masterplan- Weans with a group of old heads to bring them on. No complaints from me. His goalscoring record looks a prolific as Stevie Hammell, but he'll be there to anchor the void in front of the defence, which is the priority for now

Like karma In complete alignment Something amazing will happen before the door shuts Strange things happen, bloody hell I just saw Messi on a Walkers crisps advert !

Just watched Sportscene, at least our coverage was bigger than wee Nevins comb-over

Bit off topic but the BBC news really grinds my gears. Public broadcasting service my arse. Agendas galore. God help us if their outputs were all we had to form considered opinions from, politically, ethically, economically, religiousl, sportingly. At least forums allow anyone who fancies the opportunity to share their tuppenceworth, however disparate their views are. Rant over. Anyways, can we just sign someone please.

And the BBC never talks shite. 5pm tomorrow it is then...

When the going gets tough... Who does Billy Ocean play for these days?

When do the bargain bins get put out for perusal?

Any other rumours? Unfounded ones even, a worrying silence. Even a wee" ma sisters next door neighbours dog heard that we've..."

Crushing blow to drop two points to another penalty. However irritating it is, it had parallels of Moults penalty against Killie at Fir Park- defensive clearance interrupted by an opponent sticking a foot in the way in mid -clearance. Sadly that's the way it works these days . We just have to get cuter and learn to earn more penalties than we concede. More irritating was Pearo not just rattling the ball in for a second rather than squaring it to Moult. Incidentally, looked like the defender put it in, in which case , why was Moult offside. Is this the new interpretation in action? Gives me a headache Well impressed by Caddens finish btw, the lad seems to be taking to this first team lark Edit- sorry Moult finished it. Bad decision from Pearo, moult should've watched his position
-
It doesn't add width, or beef up the middle of the park.Arjen Röbben excepted...
-
Not a fan of the double-entendre, but I slip one in whenever I can
-
Hahaha Excellent Marv loves a warm hand on his entrance too
-
Not keen on Johnson on the right, he just doesn't come inside his man enoughMcGhee likes a one winger approach So, Laing in front of the centre halfs , Johnson wide left, Pearo and Las in the middle Moult up front , skippy beside him but dropping into midfield ?
-
I'd go with that XI but take Cadden out and have Laing in. Controversial but I don't think we've enough bite in the middle of the park. Time for a wee hod-carrying hammer-thrower
-
With a bit of luck, someone who can hit the ball running would be a bonus too. Or how about Rory Delap, that would put the cat amongst the throw-in pigeons ...

You're probably rightHowever the nightmare scenario is that someone comes in at the last gasp and steals one or two of our "stars" in which case we could end up seriously f*cked with no time to recruit. "Don't panic, Mister Mannering!"
