From what i've read previously i asumed when i put together this thread that people would instantly jump on the band wagon and go Gannon's shite Broons a god! But i've been very suprised about the rational thinking behind what has been said(no offence meant with the rational thinking) I beleive it was Nethertonwellfan who said we wouldnt be where we are without either of them and while obviously other people have gone and said Broons amazing gannon was shite but the fact that even though many people hav claimed that the thought that many fans have put in and opinions that have been said are of a very high standard. Many people say we are fans the managers footie people know more the fact is some people spent most of there weekends at the fitba and now know so much that they have the fitba intelligence of some fitba managers. Given we have know played 10 games i thought it would be intresting to compare how the 2 fared in there first 10 SPl games of the season. I appreciate Jim Gannon left us in a mess but he did have a very capable squad in his hands with that in mind. My overall view of it is that Gannon built a team that could compete but then his youth policy and bad man managment meant relations felt apart and his postition became untenable but while Gannon does get shot down for the mess he left us in his actual results before November/December where ok. But Craig Brown has shown that his superior experience and his willingness to learn means that he is a better manager but a far superior man manager. This is after all just my opinion though.

I play rugby on Murryfields 4g pitch 5 times a week about an hour and a half each time and while all the other pitches are mudbaths the 4g pitch is almost always ok and i have seen 1 injury in 3 years of playing there due to the playing field. If they did it properly 4g pitches are the way forward

Dont forget the Sir Matt Bubsy sheild could be down for the double

My worry is that with BOGOF once you've bought your season tickets other fans will agree with their mates ect. that they will pay half each and each get a season ticket so instead of each forking out 250 each it would be 125 each and so on. While honest fans will buy their season ticket outright those who look for a cheap deal that cheats the system will make the club lose out in the long run. IMO free season tickets are great i sometimes go to Hibs cause my mates grandad was one of their famous players by the surname of Todd dinnie know the first name. I also think school children are a huge market but instead of this free ticket with a paying adult crap when they get a season ticket they get another one free. And instead of their mate watching Rangers,Man u everton on the box they would go with their mate to the game even if they dont support the team they will go for the banter. But thats just my opinion great talking point tho

I do know a little bit about football as i have played for Hibs and later Hearts under 9,10,11 and the latter at 12,13sand 14s i was then released as i am also a ski racer but i am presuming what Gannon was trying to do was make the 4231 into a 433 when we attacked to combat ryhan flynn and scott arfield i beleive it was more tactical managment than a defensive statement as i played that formation at home with hibs at under 13 level

I think its personally great that the club are trying to take a lead on getting more people through the door and making things more affordable

Yes but they dont ever open their temproary stand so realistically about 1800 more could have got in not trying to nit pick just making sure people know the real figures before anyone takes any offence
