Back to league business and perfect response would be to get a massive 3pts and have a right go at finishing as high up league as we can, no squad rotation, put the big guns out as we are now a game a week as Dundee away now sat 7th March. If we could win the league it would be unbelievable but realistically that ain't going to happen. 3rd I do believe is possible but only if we can bounce back . A worry is Maswanhise who just doesn't look same player since transfer window closed. We also cant afford a lot of injuries

Winning a cup is our only chance of silverware and most other clubs in premier league and also Inverness and Ross Co have experienced it more recently than us If we got group stage Europe football it would be great but realistically that wont happen

I think problem tonight also is our expectations go through the roof due to the amazing season we have had so far. Also a lot of us genuinely thought this could be our year and if we had lost 2-0 with strongest xi then it would be easier to accept. But poor team selection has cost us. Not first time JBA has done this in cup ( benching Welsh for st mirren semi was another big error) It's a learning curve and beat st mirren and we are all smiling again

Correct...it is Aberdeen away so why make so many changes. JBA is an absolute legend and what he has brought this season is immense but that doesn't mean he cant be criticised when he gets it wrong which he certainly did tonight.

Best chance in years and cocked up by JBA maybe believing the hype. That starting line up all wrong. What you do is start strongest team and put them out of sight then change it.
