A lot of goof points made by fans of GA and those that aren't. All healthy good debate. A good point raised by David was that board would have known the style of football before we hired him. That makes the 3yr contract extension even more bizarre unless GA at the time is aware of the issues and plans to change them in the summer but I am not convinced about that. I think we get next 3 games out the way and see where we are. COYW

One thing Alexander has got spot on is his ability to divide our support. Board won't notice this as they are too busy concentrating on how our Facebook pages are going..'by the way Happy Birthday Bevis' lol. I haven't said I won't renew but fact I am.in doubt just sums up my general mood just now created by our manager. My worry is if say come October things haven't improved it will have meant he has wasted more money on poor signings and has us struggling in the league, not sure if I want us to take that chance. But each to their own. Huge game next week and return of KVV who if it hadn't been for his stupid cheap bookings would have featured in last 2 games and would have provided more of a chance of goals than efford. COYW

We gave all season ticket holders a freebie this season. If we were struggling financially then no way would club have made that very generous offer. Personally, yes I confess I am considering whether to renew season ticket but in no way diminishes my love of a club I have followed since we beat ajax 4-2 in 1977. I Don't trust GA with another transfer window, he was given plenty funds in summer and look at what he has signed (or handed extended contracts to). But again I hear all of his supporters and although I don't agree with a large part of it, I respect it which is what the forum should all be about...COYW

A 3yr contract extension was bonkers at the time. The board have huge decision to make. Some will say we can't afford to pay him off but jeez we just made a £3,000,000 profit. Also , what is cheaper...1) paying him off or 2) the cost of losing say 500 season ticket holders or more. With the bad jokes added in I try to be upbeat but I am so scunnered with Akexander and the board. I have followed well since a 5yr old in the 70's and seen various poor teams but this is as bad as I have felt. But as I always say its all about opinions. There are Alexander fans and I totally respect that. But for me he has to go. And again if somehow he miraculously starts changing tactics and signing decent players I will be first to apologise....COYW

Just my own view, when you see him in front of camera he doesn't come across as inspiring. Maybe a different person away from the camera. A bit like me, on this forum my jokes are brutal but outwith it they are hilarious..(OK....I made that bit up)

Been lot of debate on both sides of argument which is good as we all have our own opinions. I think a big problem is Alexander's personality, he doesn't come across as a manager you woukd want to play for and his interviews are cringeworthy. At end of day if we beat utd on Saturday this forum is a tad more upbeat but I still feel GA has a lot to improve on. This is a man who despite being a full back seems to have a problem recognising a good one..ie..Carroll...mcginley and playing bevis there...COYW
