  1. As with every appointment it will divide opinion but what we do have is a manager that knows the club inside out and already identified the problems we have. What we as fans need to do is give him a chance and realise this isn't going to be a quick fix. Let's get right behind him and the team and cut out the idiotic shouts at games. So many "experts" at the games that seem to know what team should be doing. Happy enough with Hammell but seems safe option from club but I am prepared to give him a chance, a man that played over 500 times for us and one of the all time legends....COYW
  2. If that was case would Hammell be happy taking charge of a team for a job he didn't get? Again let's just see what happens
  3. Actually quite pleased about that, maybe just a confidence thing but comes across as arrogant and fact he left kelty with no job lined up seemed to suggest he expected offers to flood in.
  4. I would take big Malky no probs, good record down south and doing a very good job at Ross County
  5. Instead of Bevis can we get big Shaun "Heid" Hutchinson back for one game? His last game for us in 2014 up there was memorable.....as was Craig Reid's winner from 5 inches
  6. Cheers David but it won't last....lol
  7. Hoooo get your own suggestions!! That's what I said!! Lol, only joking pal
  8. Fact Simo keeps applying tells me how much he wants to make a go of this. I am warming to the idea and yes with Hammell no.2 and put Brian Kerr in charge of academy. See what happens
  9. If one under contract then I would be happy if it's Malky Mackay, I would be flabbergasted if it's Robbo.
  10. Sorry pal, Barrel was well scraped with my last attempt!!
  11. Watching closing ceremony of commonwealth games last night and I noticed the athletes were walking in a 4 3 3 formation..... then I realised it was coming from the Alexander Stadium!!..... sorry folks
  12. Anyone got inside info on who is being interviewed? I would assume 4 with it being Hammell, Valakari and 2 leftfields that no one has even considered
  13. The Alexander/ O'Donnell debate has ran it course now. Regarding SOD I don't quite get a lot of the views but each to their own, definitely had a poor spell last season but I feel with right manager could flourish. As with all clubs you have players that take criticism and others can do no wrong, just my view but I feel that with Van Veen, yes scored lots of goals last season but also done plenty wrong and very selfish and lazy at times, but that is why he is with us and not at a higher level, but at same time when in the mood he is a huge asset. It's all part of being a well fan. COYW. PS. well that was full speech without one joke.......... Knock Knock...(who's there)........lol
  14. Need new manager asap, I believe some well fans aren't even watching the commonwealth games closing ceremony as it's coming from the Alexander Stadium...cue ...here it comes......Ba Boom!!
  15. That's a bad prediction, or to shorten...BP
  16. Can I suggest something,. Alexander has left so whether you were a fan or not, we move on and anticipate our new manager and let's give them a proper chance as this ain't going to be a quick fix,. COYW
  17. Heavy loss and we will be sending an Esso S !!
  18. With us no doubt paying off Alexander and Lucketti then I don't know where the cash would be to also pay compensation to Killie and Ross co for McInnes or Mackay. Mind you I would assume Valakari under contract unless he has a clause in his contract. If no joy then we could just go further north to Lapland and approach Santa as he has an ahem.....claus in his contract!!......sorry folks

  20. Agree totally, we had no idea what was going on, understand the reasons but at start of 2nd half when we need a reaction when losing?, sorry I don't agree but just my opinion. Anyway onto the game, plenty endeavour and loved fact Hammell changed dugout set up so we are at home side. Bevis and sol give me fear and up front I am sorry and I know fans like him but KVV needs to remember it's a team game and not all about him. Goss and mcginn good and mahon lively, shields needs rested and Efford taking an eternity to shoot bewildering. However some fans still need to get a grip, some of shouts and criticism OTT, at this stage we all need to unite and get right behind the team
  21. Definitely Goss, looked great on centre mid, mcginn also good
