Id go with a attacking 433 Brill Tait Mcmanus Heneghan Hammel Mchugh Cadden Clay Ainsworth Skippy Johnson And would emphasise the wingers should be up the field and skippy to run back to defend and ping balls to johnson and ainsworth could work thats just my theory though if we do that we may win and when off the ball the mad notion of pressing the other team would be great

Think itll be 3 1 to st johnstone they are a very good team and coming off a couple of good results Theyre a very profesional team they wont give us much time or space on the ball

Its really not we do play ok for 60 to 80 minutes then sit off everyone we played 90 minutes sitting off them whats the guff care to elaborate

I always go into the season with optimism about the cup and am always the one saying could be our year well it wont be if mcghees the manager Every time we play the OF we dont play our game we just sit off them and take it and on occasion when we fluke a result hes almost apologetic. Agree completely itd be nice to take the full allocation along and generate enough noise and atmosphere and positivity to help make things interesting. Even if it is tv and whether its league or cup it needs done I have my tickets so lets see where it takes us i do think the crowd effects players I point back to kilmarnock at home last season home crowd were restless and agitated and letting our players know that we werent happy and the performances (and rightfully so) and the play matched the atmosphere So reason would suggest a vocal positive motherwell support would help carry the team and just think what wonders it does for mcghees cv to tactically out think brendan rodgers (not that thats a difficult task)

In previous season from what ive seeo of them they are very disjointed why shouldnt we go expecting a win We have better players and a better manager so yeah even without moult we1 still have skippy and marv and cadden looks like hes found the back of the net Plus evetyone around me always bangs on how good ainsworth is well no time like the present to show it a little

We need to put them to the sword they couldnt beat albion rovers or morton no real experience 11 new players that clearly havent gelled a real chance to show our own quality here and should be looking to walk away with all 3 points anything less is a massive dissapointment

Well if our youth is to be our future yes simply because they hit 18 theyre an adult they should be learning winning habbits and coaching staff should be installing it in that yes it does matter what managers going to puck players for the first team if they cant even perform at the level they are playing at

I was personally advocating id have took cadden off after the first half well during it last 30 minutes he looked a player but worrying stuff from him for the majority of that game Marv is quickly proving how good he is hope we keep him for this season. Hes our best player by far We do miss moult and to end on a positive chalmers looked solid and looked a lot fitter than last season. He showed a willingness to tackle and pass forwards and mark was really impressed by him against east stirling and rangers. Also new signings all look good (heneghans poor passes aside)

I don't know about deductions from prize money but I like it seeing different grounds, playing teams we wouldn't normally, (competitively) and gives those of us who can't get anywhere for a holiday a wee day out you won't find me complaining. also if they added a euro spot the cup would mean that bit more and won't be viewed as a hassle the way it is now by some fans

I like this format its better than normal pre season dross and potentially means the team could go into the league season fitter as a unit and more used to how each other play. Also i don't really get the lack of excitement for the league cup if we go on and win it it will be celebrated (I'm sure). OK its not the better of the 2 cups (no euro place, less prize money, etc ) but a cups a cup. Personally I will take what we can get Also if we do draw Hearts, Celtic, Aberdeen or Hibs what does it matter wed have to play 3 of them at some point so why not in the cup.
