I agree with parts of what you said but I think Johnson is a much better player tha ainsworth

Johson is great no way the club can let him leave for 400 k or less

Best bet is to off load the dead wood like charmers and personality I would sell ainsworth as his performances this season have been terrible if the club sell these two and bring in some quality in midfield who can act as cover for lasley and Pearson we will be set

Our midfield being the centre of attention now not as confident as I was but we can still take something maybe Cadden could make the step up or Laing could be a possibility don't see this being a win but you never know id take a point here

personally i only applauded them for there effort they are part time position and they came to attack the game they didn't just sit and try hold out for a draw and the support they brought was great for the size of they're club and probably some of the nicest away fans I've encountered at fir park so i guess it was just out of respect

Am I the only one who'd like it to be cheerleaders waving the flags and entertaining us at half time and as the players come out or maybe a halftime show where someone dresses up as a big hard man and chases a referee around the pitch Or we have a adult stand and we just employ exotic dancers that's surely attract folk in they might not be there for the footy but its get folk in Or there's always that option of the SFA and the SPFL giving us what we want a 18 team top flight and wrap the 16 team pish talk and maybe admit that the 12 team league is hardly the envy of Europe Sometimes in order to go forward you have to go back (quoting my old man here) the teams in Scotland maybe not us at the time granted were doing better in Europe because s'more money and the league was more competitive with 18 teams Some idiot eons ago (before my lifetime bout late 80's early 90's decided we are a small nation and shouldn't be competing in Europe the national team can't be that good our young players aren't good enough etc etc Attendances will only get better as a result of the league getting better I see no reason why Scotland can't stride to be like holland The league has to play catch up now and it needs a change right throug from the top of the SFA right down to every clubs "youth" policy

In complete honesty If the rumours of ainsworth leaving are true I'm quite happy as we have johnson who (any time i've seen him) has been faultless under mcghee and ainsworth for me has always been a frustrating player to watch in most games so if the club has gotten a decent fee then thats good More of a chance for dom to get in the first team on occasion now

What we really need is a playmaker with tracking back abilities in the centre of the park persons good but would be nice to have someone who offers more of that creative attacking midfielder in the centre of the park Rather than playing out to the wing all the time would really make us more of a threat and as far as defence goes maybe a fullback other than that happy with the team we've got

Who was the referee yesterday seemed to be some confusion my friend told me it was Craig Thompson but the guys next to us were convinced it was iggy something or over but the guy in front of me was shouting about thompson as well so anyone know Because personally i think its hardly surprising if it was Thompson and crew by far the worst ref I've ever seen (so far)
