  1. okay as i said earlier this we will win this but to me if we win this we have a shot at making a challenge for top 6 and putting space between ourselves and the dog fight all goes well we are in with a chance if we do our bit we could indirectly pull hamilton into the struggle should they fail. we are breathing up the necks of the teams directly above us and have to make it count after a great result last saturday Interesting times ahead for us
  2. I feel we should win this and win it comfortably maybe 3 or 4 with a clean sheet would do me
  3. Wasn't complaining three points is three points
  4. think we did excelent in getting 3 goals not the best game ever seen but thats us scored 5 in our last 2
  5. hope we have a go think a 1 - 1 draw would do for me
  6. we may lose soft goals but the whole point of supporting the team is to be positive hearts are a much stronger team and we took something anything can happen in Scottish football on the day so a little optimism please
  7. on the ripley debate he's a very good "young" keeper and i hope we sign the lad at the end of the season a couple of more years (if he stays here) he will develop into a solid goal keeper we have to look at ourselves as a developing club in a lot of ways and we have to be more patient with certain players
  8. A credible point today against a team that will be top 6 at fir park I'll take it it's these points that will put us ahead of the relegation fight
  9. I know this was mostly a season to forget but there were some real highs so if you like alternative rock mixed with a little touch of metal and motherwell you might enjoy this give it the full time before you comment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdUwdDeU9l0&feature=youtu.be
  10. i think we all just need to have a bit more positivity and all the fans just need to get right behind the team lets try it maybe it'll give the players a confidence boost i think 2 - 1 well
  11. I just joined the well society last night and in my opinion we have to budget to be a mid table team that can get a team together once in a while to challenge for europe for a year or 2 we have to hit the balance between selling club and a good team its do able but is going to rely on a lot of factors mostly within our own control
  12. thats the wrong attitude to have he's the gaffer he's dealing with a less than standard team give him the january transfer then feb then say what you will and were a small support n need to split it with calling your fellow fans clueless morons
  13. but players should be giving there all every game not when it suits them
  14. okay to start off with i don't want to be that guy who hates negativity but is negative himself. But the one thing that worries me about our team right now is there is no urgency in the play and a lot of the players look lost without the ball i always feel that our players should be looking to pressure the opponents. I feel that the final balls certainly Lacking but we would probably do better than one goal a game if we pressure the opponents and force errors of the opposition . I feel the players are better than results are suggesting and thats whats annoying me. Theres a decent mid table team there its just no ones drilling them to play forward basic football i honestly think basic simple football is the way we have to go now. and to install a sense of responsibility into our players too often are we allowing the opponents all the time on the ball and no ones making a real effort to get it back. I think a basic 4 4 2 would be our best bet with ainsworth and thomas on the wings and moult and fletcher up front
  15. I was just expressing a point of view i look at the squads and don't think theres much in it but motherwell will (hopefully) have that impact from a new appointment and I've never been sold on Gary Locke to be quite honest
  16. i think well win this i just have feeling that kilmarnock are ready to fall apart and we're on the up so I'm gong 3 - 1 motherwell win Always optimistically following my heart
  17. I hope this thread isn't serious
  18. Just what we need right now an experienced head who knows the sottish game can't wait to see how we do under him
  19. I think we should approach Jackie McNamara (i don't know how its spelled) as his recent release by dundee united could fire him up. If we get him would love to see him given the resources bar was given I know his recent record with united wasn't great but given that the chairman sold all his best players from under him and wanted the results. But his overall record speaks for itself. An other choice i would really like to see is Terry Butcher (I know its not a popular choice) don't know where he is the now. but he's a good manager and he could work wonders with the resources bar was given. I acknowledge that he wasn't great last time round but i think he would be good if given another chance. A left field choice for me would be Darren Young (Albion Rovers boss) got some friends who support them they seem to think he's a good manager. I've seen them play a couple of times going with friends last season and they looked quite solid and well drilled at times for a part time team. Whoever it is will have my backing for the start anyway then see how he's doing Those are my three hopeful picks
  20. To me Saturdays game against Kilmarnock is a must win for baraclough i honestly believe if we don't beat kilmarnock he has to go and a replacement manager who knows the scottish game has to be brought in the players are there i don't know why were as bad as we've been results wise
  21. ok so im feeling a tad more optimistic now i think a draw 1 - 1 would be a valuable point gained for us rather than 2 lost
  22. ok i get you now was writing on my phone so didn't think about punctuation lol
