Delighted with the 4-0 win , if this was played a month or so ago we would have struggled Not the draw we were looking for , have to beat them at some point though and what better time Of course if we did we would end up drawing Rangers no doubt -

Must play our strongest team for this one If you offered me Europe this season again, or a cup final at Hampden I know what I would pick , been so long hearing about 1991 that one of these seasons it must be our turn of a cup In reality of course I don’t see it happening, but always good to think it will if things go our way -
Thoughts with his family RIP John

Know a couple of Killie fans who have been ranting about how poor they have been this season , despite a tough start We have a good record down the years at Rugby Park , 1-0 victory I think

Never a red card for me either for Lundstrum, to level it up they got a penalty that never was and James Tavernier will go on to be the highest scorer in Rangers history with the amount of penalties they get On a serious note great 3 points yesterday , performance was definitely not the best though there is much more of a feel good factor with Stevie in charge now

Hopefully 3 points on Saturday , and a positive atmosphere , seen this as well earlier in the week for anyone who hasn’t seen Great gesture and any positive news we get is always a good thing , and hopefully gives the Cooper stand a better atmosphere as most of the atmosphere comes from one section of the Hunter https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/local-sport/pop-star-edwyn-collins-gave-27737136.amp

Man U losing 4-0 at half time to Brentford, shocking start for Van Der Gaag and co They really are in a mess at the minute , and has been the case for a while now

Brilliant 3 points today , really pleased to see how we responded after going 2-1 behind

Sad, bitter, man. He has lived off his cult status with us, and some weirdos still feed into it. Seen quite a few posts in recent years slating our club , My thoughts he is bitter at the fact Motherwell have never offered him a job , great player of course back in the day -

Totally agree , what a player he was for us and would love to have a player like this now in the team Seem to remember he was quite bitter towards the likes of Barraclough and Robinson also -

Noticed on the Well Facebook page last night when Stevie was appointed that Colin ONeill had said Burrows should go Bit OTT in my opinion -
Very tough game in prospect tomorrow , we do though have a very decent record up there in recent years Hopeful of coming away with at least a draw

My dad was a Rangers fan also though had not been to a live game for about 8 years and had become scunnered with the OF , though quite the opposite as after he went to his first game with me supporting the Well he enjoyed it so much that he kept going back , bought the season ticket and was as glad as anyone when we won the playoffs His last win seeing the Well at Hampden before he passed on was the 2-0 semi in 2017 which was a great day -

I am happy with the appointment, obviously has no managerial experience though everybody has to start somewhere Hopefully it works out in the long run, as I don’t believe anyone would be as committed to Motherwell as Steven Hammell -

At the end of the day I would like to see the best candidate who was available at the time appointed After the results in 2022 and the football we have watched at times I would be quite happy to see anyone take charge who will get fans happy to go back watching the team and if results are not always the greatest then at least show a bit of fight and commitment -

I seem to remember McCall as well taking pelters on a regular basis especially the season 13/14 when we were second in the league at the time One thing I do remember from back then is how frustrated we would get as a fan base at getting knocked out the cups in the first game , despite finishing 3rd, 2nd, 2nd. It was almost like a proper chance to win silverware when you looked at the teams who won stuff in those years His record against Rangers was dire , though I suppose he could get a result against Celtic, 3 wins and 2 draws Nowadays we don’t beat either of course -

I definitely don’t hate the guy , I just wouldn’t want the baggage, but at the same time I could say the same about the likes of Barry Ferguson The guy has a lot of people in this country who don’t like him for purely bigoted reasons that I never agree with , do remember Craig Brown saying he is a likeable guy and I know he has suffered from a lot of mental health issues in the past Being honest now if he got us a half decent team to watch maybe all the past is forgotten, and if he beats Rangers a few times so much the better , I don’t believe he is even interested in the job though and it is simply Craggs putting his name forward -

Not Lennon for me , too much baggage involved there and would bring unwanted publicity to the club Nothing to do with the Celtic connection either -

Seen Big Dunc was on sky last night and said he has been waiting for a managerial job coming up , I don’t think for a minute it will be him as I seem to remember him saying he never would play or manage in Scotland and had an issue with the SFA but wouldn’t be surprised either if he ends up in Scotland one day I am sure there is going to be a decision before the Aberdeen game and tbh I honestly think it is probably going to be someone unexpected, probably not been mentioned -

This is exactly my thoughts as well , as much as I liked McCall who did an excellent job overall I have no doubt if he had stayed on that season we would have lost those playoff games . In the cup game a few seasons before he had us beaten before a ball was kicked with a very negative outlook when most were tipping us for a win -

Prefer our managers to be ones that haven’t played for either Celtic or Sevco if we can avoid it, while I will of course still get behind them the sooking up to them can get really annoying at times Stuart McCall was the prime example of this -

Could do worse than Paul Lambert in my opinion, plenty of experience If we win on Saturday though Stevie must be in with a great shout -

Hopefully not Darren O’Dea Last time the Well gave him a job he left months later to go back to Celtic -
Glad to get 3 points from that game, against a side who have been a bit of a bogey team for us in the past , was convinced after the sending off they would score in injury time Liam Kelly saved us on a number of occasions Would be quite happy if Hammell is still in charge next weekend which I think he will be
