Dreadful performance. My prediction is McGhee to play the defeat down and say the St Johnstone game was always the more important.

Much prefer this new format to the old format, 4 cup games already and still in the cup which hasnt happened too often recently. Much better than the usual pre-season dross. Always prefer competitive games to friendlies and I have heard a lot of negativity towards it and cant understand it. Seriously think any club who treats this as a diddy tournament or part of the friendlies before the big event to consider withdrawing and let someone else take their place.

Strangely confident of 3 points in this one which is unusual for me, talking to a Killie fan today who claims they are very very poor especially at Rugby Park, fancy a 1-0 or 2-0 win for this one if we play the way we can.

Glad of the win tonight and of the 3 goals though it could have been so much more if we could have took some of those chances. Welcome back Faddy as well for the 5th time. The guy is MFC through and through and quite happy to have him in his new role.

Some of the fixtures are a joke, ICT and Ross Co away on midweek nights along with Aberdeen travelling to Fir Park on Christmas eve shows no thought for the people who travel to away games.

Totally agree. I hate both of them with a passion and will cheer on whoever is playing them as long as the outcome doesnt affect Motherwell. Some people wonder why their is so much hatred towards them though for me its more the fans of the clubs than the actual football clubs themselves that annoy me. Celtic annoy me because of the constant conspiracy theories, their tripe for years about how everyone goes out their way to lie down to help Rangers and the IRA stuff that gets sung. Rangers also annoy me because of their sectarian bile, the fans arrogant attitude of how noone is as superior as the mighty Glasgow Rangers and how they have acted in the last 4 years. They've blamed other clubs and their supporters for just about everything wrong at their club instead of looking at the corrupt people who've run their club over the years. Fans of both clubs pollute social media with their unique brand of tripe.

Nothing wrong with a good old fashioned pitch invasion and I get your point about Hibs not being responsible for the stewarding, I was meaning more assaults on the pitch and goal posts being broken. Understandable why fans would come on as they have had to suffer years of misery though our clubs name was dragged through the mud last year for less and sadly its the club who are the ones who end up being fined because of a few idiots. No doubt Rangers fans coming on to the pitch made the situation worse than it would have been, the sooner them and their brothers from across the city go to another league the better.

Delighted that Rangers hibsed it today, serves them right as I see the amount of stick they have been dishing out to Hibs fans on social media for months. Really do hope though Hibs get hammered by the SFA though as the scenes today were a lot lot worse then our play off last year.

Thought McHugh would have taken over as one of the main goalscorers when Murphy left though he did have plenty of chances in the first team and never impressed that much. Best of luck to the guy though, no doubt he will come back to haunt us next season as most players who leave us do.
