We really do make it hard for ourselves at times, but last night was all about getting the 3 points against a team so close to us in the table and we did that.

Hopefully get back to winning ways tonight but definetly a very tough game in prospect against a team who are not losing many goals at the minute.

I agree, regardless of what manager and players we have we always seem to find a way to lose to them in league games and our record against this mob is by far the worst of all the teams in the league. Sure I read it was over 40 games in a row since that 2002 game.

No disrespect to Yogi who seems a very likeable guy but really glad we went with Robbo instead

Need to get the first goal in this game to have any chance. Sadly don't think we will get anything as our record against this mob both Oldco and Newco in league games is truly awful

Always liked John, I remember at Motherwell College in about 2001 we had to research something local history related and a group of us chose MFC. As part of our research we contacted the club and they arranged for us to go and have a chat with John Swinburne in his office. He had lots of stories to tell and you could tell he was a proper fan. Sure he said he hadn't missed a Well away game since 1976. The book is excellent also.

I switched off at 2-0, was a fan of Clarke getting the job as well but if it was possible to get worse then we have. Was a mistake getting rid of Strachan as at least we were harder to beat. Would be good to see Declan get a game on Sunday but at the same time don't want him to be dragged down to Scotland's level after the start he has had with us.

Will no doubt be a few more clubs looking at Robinson as the season goes on Can see him still being here for the rest of the season.

Hoping he stays a while longer also, think he is doing an excellent job when you consider he has to rebuild every summer. Wont be surprised if one of the Edinburgh clubs did make a move.

I wish both them and their great pals from across Glasgow could get their wish and move to England. Just think Scottish football would be so much more competitive and would be great starting a season with a genuine chance of winning either the league or one of the two cups.

Got a copy of Terry Butcher's book years ago when he was our manager. Sure he mentions in it something about wearing green one day and Davie Cooper threatening to rip it off him, something like that anyway. Seem to remember around the time of its release a lot of their followers were calling Butcher for everything about something else he was meant to have said about Davie.

Used to have a soft spot for Boyd even when he was the Celtic captain but in recent years he has showed his true colours. Boyd's comments are the type you would expect to hear from your average paranoid Celtic fan who believes the refs are all out to get them, Without wanting to slate our 1991 Captain Boyd definetly is one of them.

I don't think for a minute it will be an easy game on Friday but will gutted if we end up going out to this mob especially with home advantage as they are definetly there for the taking. They have been poor for most of 2019, despite being in the top 6 last season and a final, which maybe says more about the teams below them.
