I like the look of O’Hara and no doubt he’ll be a decent player. However very surprised we never signed a striker after being so public about it and had 3 deals fall through for strikers.

I just came across the name. Seen striker and seen he’d played at L2 level so thought we’d probably be in for him. Motherwell never do it easy so I’ll guess we will sign 2 players at a minute to midnight.

A striker from Preston Conor Simpson being linked the Hibs and Hearts wouldn’t be surprised to see us be in for him.

I’ve been very critical of Hartley in recent months but you can see just what he offers at his best. So I went with him today. Donnelly continues to impress me more and more. As well as Long who will be disappointed not to have scored today but he looks a player. Hopefully Hilton scoring today will raise his confidence back to where he was at in the betfred games and the same with Seedorf.

The striker that played up front for Solihull moors last season who scored a tonne of goals, signed for Blackpool but now been made available for loan. Same thing happened with Hartley there. Could see us being in for the player (Adi Yussuf).

From what I seen on their Twitter he had another excellent game. Lad definitely deserves a chance to come back and be given a shot at the number 1 shirt.

You are right regarding Grimmy and Hartley, both deadline day signings. The ultimate deadline day window with Baraclough what a day that was.

Centre half, big presence in the middle of the park, striker and a winger. Arguably a left back if Robbo can’t see that Livingstone plays left back.

Well with Hylton he totally tore it up in the betfred cup games, Ilic against Morton seemed to look decent but maybe not as effective since. Hylton also impressed against livi when given the ball to feet and also done some good work against Celtic last week.

Personally I’ve seen something that suggests Hylton and Ilic do have something to offer and in particular Hylton. Seedorf at the moment seems more to be better used as an impact player. Long has showed some promise for me as had Cole. I’d even attempt to start Hartley as Dunne couldn’t move on livi’s pitch. There is a lot of uncertainty at the moment and clear to see massive improvements are needed and definitely a signing or 2 this week.

I couldn’t make the game last night but by all means we were atrocious. As the same with every one I was very impressed with us in pre season. We beat some decent championship teams. We’ve had a rough start since but something has to change. Last season we had a lot of success with Turnbull playing off the striker but we no longer play with that shape in the middle but at the time being we lack any real match winner. Hylton looked to be a steal and very exciting to watch but maybe struggled to show that for a full 75-90 mins over the last 3 weeks, and I assume he was poor last night after being brought off. I seen the highlights and really wondering to myself WTF is Gillespie doing for the second penalty. His confidence seems totally shot since last week and hasn’t looked the same. I really like him but maybe a chance for Carson to stake a claim again. Accies next week, we know what we are going to get with them especially on a plastic pitch. I’d start the game with a bog standard 442. Have some pace from the wingers to beat a man in the wide areas and get in behind but work their socks off. Have Scott and Long to play off each other with one dropping in to help mark one of accies deeper midfielders if they have one. Gillespie/ Carson Tait Gallagher Dunne Carroll Hylton Donnelly Campbell Ilic Scott Long I’ve also liked the look of Cole so I’d say it’s worth it to give him a start over Long.

I like Long he linked up very well yesterday with the midfield, has some nice touches and he looks like he has something about him. So did Cole he really took it to them when he came on and put himself about. I do like Scott and would love to see him become a regular but he has a lot of work to do and can be pretty frustrating to watch.

Not disagreeing with you as in who cost the goals but Donnelly never shirked any tackle, he got proper stuck in. Pretty composed on the ball as well and never hid like others did. Took his 2 goals well also.

If we play like how did yesterday attacking wise we will have a very successful season. Defensively we need to stay focused and not be giving it away as often but we were competitive until about 3-1.

Seedorf and Ilic seem very much like confidence players. I thought Seedorf started the game very brightly but he seemed to run out of puff after 30 mins and a few players started getting on his back. Ultimately his head seemed to drop and was subbed.

Wasn’t exactly an intentional tackle to hurt the player it was a poor challenge but still an attempt to win the ball. To give a booking then overturn it to not 1 but a 2 game ban is shocking.

Not everything you get told happens tbf. Respect your view and I’ll happily take the pellets when I do get it wrong.

I never said Benteke scored the overhead kick? It was speculated he was playing but turned out it wasn’t him which was confirmed by burrows and others who were at the game.

I was at the Annan game and he got bullied and kicked all over the place but that was always going to happen against a team like them. He has got parts of his game and made a more positive impact compared to Scott on Saturday.

Long actually looks a no bad player, he has the attributes to be a good player, he’d probably suit playing someone like Scott or Cole, which I could see being used another option against certain opposition.

Thought Carroll had an excellent game and is looking better and better every time. Hylton when he actually got the ball always beat the man but wasn’t effective enough. Seedorf came on to make a positive effect but seemed pretty nervous until the fans got him going. Liked the look of Cole in his 10 minute cameo, strong, powerful and pacey.
