Didn’t think Ariyibi did much wrong when on the ball he did his usual but maybe not seen enough of the ball to be effective in the game but the double change did make the difference.
-
Dunne is an absolute Rolls Royce of a defender, strength to strength every game. Scottish Prems Van Dijk!

Get Aldred and Ariyibi signed up ASAP

Think we all forget how influential Tait and how good Tait actually is at RB haven’t not seen much of that but anywhere he plays he’s consistent and rarely has a bad game. Just a classy footballer, yes with the odd fluffer but tbh Grimmy isn’t blessed technically but by god he’s got heart.
-
I’d love for him to stay more than anything but even if he was to sign a new deal and leave in the summer for a proper fee then I’d be fine with that. Sell him to anybody but the 2 ugly sisters and I’m okay with it. Great lad and even better player.
-
Wasn’t there yesterday but how did James Scott actually play, hope he can get a few goals between now and the end of the season and be our next goal scorer for a few seasons.
-
Be seen as a back-up for me, Tait is the still the first name on the team sheet and with a equally good left back that would push Tait back to RB and a new LB or Livingstone when his time comes. I do like Grimmy now but he shows the good parts of his game but also you can see his faults but excellent on Sunday from him.
-
Yesterday he 100% convinced me he’s worthy of a new deal but would be more back-up next season for defence and centre mid

GET HASTIE SIGNED UP!

Could be for anyone in our team they’re all playing incredible!

Donnelly?

In a sense they do mean nothing but, just look at all the poor records we have brought in and their stats for us have been excellent. Just IMO Ariyibi is a far more classy player for us and to watch aswell, yes Frear can create a few chances or whatever but his all round game is poor, also his stats are pretty poor for us except assists so to judge a winger on goals is pretty poor especially when it’s not his game to score goals. Frear just isn’t cut out for our league tbh. Stats mean nothing is slightly over exaggerated but it all matters on performances. Craig Gordon could have 20+ clean sheets a season but he’s still shit.
-
Absolute ludicrous to think Frear is a better player than Ariyibi. Ariyibi is far superior, faster, more skilful, creates a lot more space for the team, actually works hard going track back. I used to really like Frear but really don’t see the fuss. When have you ever seen Frear beat 3 or 4 players with so much skill and ease. Stats mean nothing except for a goalscorer.

I would tend to agree with you, but for me the jury is out for McHugh, Grimshaw and Frear. McHugh - Would be a good squad player, can play a few positions but an absolute liability but on his game he’s very good. If he got back to the season that Robinson first came in and earned him his plaudits I’d give him another season. Could probably get better. Grimshaw - A decent squad player and can fill a jersey but we could get far better. A decent performer but can be pretty inconsistent but has shown some consistency in the recent run, but would rather have Tait at RB and someone more suited to LB. Frear - You never know with Frear, one game he is simply pish can’t beat the man, crosses are wayward and bullied around. Or he can play and absolute tear the other team a new one but he’s still a big shitebag. Would be happy for him to stay as an impact sub but on wages to suit that. But as said before we could get better and players more likely to push into the team.

Just one to chuck in here but what are the chances of us possibly getting Murphy or Marvin Johnson on loan next season. Murphy making more sense as rangers will be looking to push on or get some game time after his lengthy injury.
-
Probably going to get a lot of stick here but Cadden is nowhere near Ariyibi. Cadden is an all round class player but he’s no blessed with incredible pace, feel like next season he could be moved to the middle of the park and occasionally the wings.
-
As our season seems to have come to a nothing season, although we will be pushing for top six which would be fanstastic. Be interesting to see the opinions of everyone on who should be staying at the club and who should go regarding who’s contracts are up in the summer. Hastie and Gorrin are a must. Could someone find out everyone who’s out of contract in the summer first team and reserves?
-
Carl McHugh’s birthday today, is he deserving of a new contract?
-
Weren’t clubs looking at Carson for 1mil roughly, so wouldn’t mind getting a fee for him. However, although I do like Gillespie and it’s position to keep Carson is better.

Ariyibi to get his first well goal, he gets better and better every time I watch him. -
He did finish top scorer albeit Moult would’ve got it if we were keeping him in the running.
-
Is it bad I actually thought Kennedy did a decent job for us and Twardzik was decent for a while? And also would be great to see Cadden and/or Tanner appear again this season.

2018/19 Game 24: Livingston (H) Saturday 2nd February

Gorrin although a lot better, reminds me of Lee Lucas a lot the young lad we brought in from Swansea, when he played and not injured he was excellent, did a similar job to Gorrin they kind of play the same. Gorrin is absolutely incredible though wins the aerial battles and hard in the tackle to “battle the right to play” as Robinson says often. -
I’m sure they won’t mimd losing him or loaning him to us again, pleaseeeeee

2018/19 Game 24: Livingston (H) Saturday 2nd February

Great performance and another 3 pts. The difference of having the 2 wide men in Ariyibi and Hastie is incredible, tore their defence god knows how many times. Good to see Main get a goal but that chance in the second he missed then stopped, that can be forgiven but. Rest were extremely solid and had great games!
