Maybe not as many didn’t turn up today as the weather was an absolute joke as well as the prices. We also have a game on Tuesday night as well and had a game last Tuesday just there.

Personally I’d change to a back 3 this weekend with Mugabi coming in playing with Gillespie, Mugabi, Dec, Hartley, Grimmy, Carroll, Donnelly, Polworth, Campbell, Long and Watt (Aarons if Watt isn’t fit). We are becoming too static now and teams are reading us very easily we need to change it up.

Pathetic performance, downward spiral has been coming since the accies game, wins at Dundee and Aberdeen covered the cracks but the performances have been poor. Too many players look off the boil. Manzinga needs to have a serious look at himself after that shocking dive, beats 2 players but instead of shooting throws himself to the ground.

So what actually is the script here I thought we announced we were debt free midway through the first half of the season. Should the sale of James Scott mean any other small debts were paid off (£80,000) which leaves us with just approx £920,000 which most likely half will go into the running of the club. Still leaving us with a hefty fee to invest back into the playing squad etc.

And that’s why nobody will touch him for that price I rate Shankland very highly but he’s not worth that. For the record Motherwell fans need to get realistic we aren’t going to be buying anyone for 100k+.

In my honest opinion we’ve got 1.5 million which keeps is excellent for us, for a 19 year old player who lets face it was good on his day and I like him but could be very frustrating and not exactly as good as your Turnbull or even Hasties granted they’re older. However selling him for that money and arguably signing someone better for 6 months is a cracking piece of business.

Very very good player from what I’ve seen went slightly down hill but certainly got a lot of talent. Hopefully we can get him back to his best.

Hopefully we can find a replacement at least and possibly another as we now have money to play with. However I don’t want us to go out spending it on anyone but I have faith in Robbo and we’ll spend wisely. Could have a big impact on tomorrow’s game however...

Scott has had a decent crack for just under a year so he’s had a good opportunity and we’ve got to see him do well. Turnbull will stay until at least the end of the season, and wee Al looks like he’s staying even though I can’t believe nobody has tried for him.

Scott’s away from what I’ve been told 1.7 million don’t know if that includes add ons... a lot of money that we can’t reject. Hopefully we can find someone to replace him quickly.

I’d be more than happy for us to accept an offer of 1.5 million + add ons and a loan back til the end of the season for James Scott. Good to see we aren’t just accepting anything these days.

I personally think Turnbull will replace Polworth in the side but let’s face it if he comes back has a good couple months again then he’s off so good to have Polworth there, and another playmaker type to change the game off the bench.

How many times have we heard that... Robbo can’t help himself. Suspect we got Ndjoli on a lot less wage contribution than we did for Cole so very surprised we’ve got nothing left. Extremely likely to finish in top 4 and a good cup run, sometimes you’ve got to gamble.

I think if we are able to take a point or 3 off Hibs that’ll be another real point proven. They’re a lot better now than they were the last time at FP but on our game then we should win. Interesting to see our team for hibs as Long may be out which is a massive blow but the return of Hylton hopefully will be a big boost.

From my point of view any striker who’s caught the eye on Robbo and has scored goals in the national league would be worth a punt on a reasonable low fee. Under the age of 26 and get him on an 18 month contract with the view of another year. He has a good season or 2 and he’s attracting big clubs down south and easy money. Mentioned him ages ago on here a while ago seems a very appealing player for us to sign and sell on. But with the goals he’s scored clubs with more money than us will be offering him a contract.

Seedorf has failed to impress so far hence my reasoning for another addition in the wide area (Ndjoli). With Hylton limping off last night that could be a worry for us as he’s an excellent player and brings something to the team. Will likely give Ndjoli more of a chance to impress and hopefully he takes it.

Had 2 very short cameos for us from what I recall. Was only 20 when he signed with us and had very little match experience. Think the move to a club like us came at the wrong time for him as he went on to do pretty well for a couple seasons and even earned a move to Sheffield United but hasn’t worked out for him.

Great news! I can be very critical of him as he may not be the best player but I like him and glad he’s staying. Gives 110% effort and where’s his heart on his sleeve which is a minimum requirement to be liked at the well and he loves us too!
