  1. The game was screaming out for someone who could give us a breather and give the rest of the team an out (Watt) and I do'nt give a fuck if some don't like him he has hold up play in his locker and fouls a plenty and thats where we score most of our goals. That was fuckin abysmal from start to finish and lies squarely with SK. Said he would go out not to lose not to win and he did exactly that..... pathetic utterly pathetic
  2. Only saw the first half can only assume we improved second half. We cannot play against even a piss poor Rangers team the way we did for most of the first half tonight. THat said it's all about results right now and that was an outstanding result. Confidence should be high but let's play football not football on Sunday.
  3. its important in the sense we don't want to get into the same kind of spiral we hit at this time last year and thats more down to keeping confidence up. However you are correct in terms of points / position its nothing big.
  4. Over 8000 is pretty good particularly when you are facing one half of the OF. I just fear SK will set us up to try not to lose rather than set out to win.
  5. Agreed, SK will set out to stifle them for 70 mins and have a go if we are still in it at that point. However we are likely to be 2-0 down before that point. Big difference Rangers are pish in relation to Celtic but we are unlikely to capitalise on it. Anyone know if the scum supporters of Celtic managed to leave the ground intact this time.
  6. Because the league is run by two clubs for two clubs
  7. The behaviour of their scum supporters is easily rectified. Two strikes and its a 6 point deduction. However the SPFL is run to suit two clubs so the the tough effective decisions will never be made.
  8. and the ground wrecked just like they do on every visit to Fir Park. I heard Celtic refused to pay for the damage the last time and Motherwell are having to refer it to the SPFL board.
  9. Expectation always weighs heavy on us . Has done for my 45 years watching us. Very Frustrating cos Dundee were nearly as bad as us. Was Sparrow injured? .. Davor and Halliday in midfield just doesnt do it for me. Anyone know why Stama ran off the pitch and straight up the tunnel?
  10. Apparently over 6200 sold. I don't suspect we will need our option for 14,500.
  11. I think these broadcasts are excellent and give a good insight into how decisions arrived at. It will never be perfect but at least they are trying to explain it , errors and all. I'm still amazed the St Mirren player didn't get sent off for booting the Kilmarnock defender twice. That was a real shocker but at least they held their hands up they got it wrong but doesnt help Kilmarnock.
  12. Really good small goalkeepers are the exception rather than the norm. Andy Goram being the exception. I always thought Kelly was too wee and didn't command his 6 yard box which OX does and the difference is so noticeable. Kelly wasn't all bad but for me I like a big towering keeper.
  13. Its not as easy as that. He has already signed an extension to be fair the club, he could have legged it before signing the last extension. I don't see him doing it again. I think both him and the club will cash in in the next 12 moths and considering he could have pissed off for nothing a year back I think we cant complain if both parties do.
  14. This is a real barometer game for me. Historically rising expectations is difficult for us to handle and often we fail. Most Motherwell fans will go into this game expecting us to win. If we can I'll maybe be convinced the current good form isnt just a flash in the pan blip this season.
  15. A dominant goalkeeper makes a huge difference
  16. Its Dundee at home - they've won one league game since the clocks went forward in March, we've gotta be looking at 3 points in that one , Utd must be a chance of a point, Celtic will just be a loss, those bastards are just too hard to beat.
  17. Perfect summary of the game, player performances and the way it all panned out.
  18. Great result. SK called it right in the 2nd half. Davor sadly cannot dominate in the middle and having already being booked it was sensible to take him off because her is clumsy in the tackles. Sparrow offered us more dig and pace in the midfield. Our quality while in possession was truly horrific in the first half , improved in the second but still the amount of unforced errors was truly awful. Had we lost today it would have been all down to us, Hibs are bang average and had it not been for our truly woeful play in possession Hibs would have been there for the taking from the 1st minute. No doubt the SOD haters will want him crucified and his error was absolutely horrific but his error apart he wasn't too bad. Tony Watt gave us some much needed guile and Moses really rumbled them up. OX was terrific. What a goal from our Australian friend. A good £42 win on Skybet for our win too.
  19. Happily chop that thing in two LOL
  20. Thats what Id do if we had to redevelop Fir Park cut the top tier off that monstrosity that is the Tommy McLean stand. I'd also try and reduce the size the roofing frontage on the Cooper and any subsequent new stands, its far too big. However all really pie in the sky.
  21. I'm not so sure, the club may have thought "he's making a right tit of himself" knock yourself out. Nowhere in that statement do I think the club look bad he just looks like a spoilt entitled arse.
  22. I thought his statement was dripping with entitlement. I have just retired after working for 46 years. I have had, on two occasions, to reapply for my own job as the structures of the business changed. I hated the process but knew I was good at the jobs I was doing and in both cases secured the appointments. I also didn't have the financial luxury of going in a huff and walking away. Life's tough especially when your parents weren't millionaires you just need to get on with life and make your way.
  23. Pretty much as I saw it and despite all the Davor hero worshippers I still think he and Halliday dont command the middle of the park as much as I'd like. It was therefore no surprise St Mirren had 63% of the possession. St Mirren can consider themselves hard done by however I'm fed up watching us turn them over in terms of play only to lose so yesterday was our turn.
