its achievable for a team with heart , guts , determination and organisation... that is us fucked out on all accounts.
-
Hope those continually screaming for us to get Alan Campbell back are watching this Hearts v Dundee Utd game. Subbed totally anonymous.
-
Over turn the red and keep him suspended would be ideal 😉 , hes fuckin murder.
-
if Hearts draw their superior goal difference will make it almost impossible for Motherwell or St Mirren to catch them. We'd need a swing of 19 goals to overhaul them if they get a draw today. Edit I stand corrected I'm looking at a live table. I thought they had 40 points before todays game. still immaterial we ain't getting top 6.
-
In my Heat of Hearts I think we will too but it just wouldn't surprise me if we completely collapse because basically our squad is piss poor. Dundee play Hibs away next week, Kilmarnock are away to Celtic and St Johnstone are away to Dundee Utd, St Mirren and RC play each other. If we can come out of next weekend relatively unscathed we may only need 3 /4 points to keep us out of 11th but as I said would it surprise me if we capitulate ? no it wouldnt.. I think it will be a season ending where we hope those in 11th and 12th run out of games to catch us. We could of course make it easy for ourselves and get into the top 6 - alright it was just a joke.
-
Unlikely but most certainly not off the table, we are an absolutely turgid watch and frankly I have zero confidence in the shower of wasters who represent us.
-
we need a win next week to ease relegation fears , fuck all about the top 6. Is it better that Hearts win today and secure top 6 meaning they have fuck all to play for next week ?
-
That was a shocking result for us in our current form. We need a lot more than a decent goalkeeper.
-
Kilmarnock were piss poor but they were all over us when it was 11 v 11. We rarely got out our own half. Back pass boot long, rinse and repeat , that was all we did before and after the sending off. There is every chance they'd still have beaten us. We were absolutely abysmal before and after the sending off and using the sending off ass an excuse papers over an utterly shocking plays. Halliday at the first goal was utterly laughable. Thinking he is a player pissing about on the edge of the box leading to the chaos that resulted in the goal.
-
Hearts will secure top 6 tomorrow , and we are in for a real struggle to stay out of the play off spot.
-
The most worrying part is we played exactly the same way against Aberdeen and St Mirren , we are utter garbage.
-
This squad is shite, don't know how often they need to display it before its accepted as true,
-
That the most worrying point for me, Kilmarnock were fuckin abysmal but we were never beating them even with 11 men. The standard of our play and decision making was beyond parody today.
-
For me we are favs for the play offs , I seriously don't see any team that plays as badly as us. The goals we concede would shame a pub team. The two we lost today are beyond ridicule.
-
again I ask, have you watched him playing for Dundee Utd.
-
It wouldn't be Motherwell if we didn't fuck up and put ourselves right in it and frankly the squad isnt that good.
-
have you seen Campbell playing for Dundee Utd? No better than what we have. I agree with most of the rest. The squad has proved time and again they aint up to it. So not many I would be disappointed to lose.
-
Once again a draw at best. We really are poor and I expect us to ease Killie's worries , we've done it for Hibs, Hearts & St Johnstone. I see that pattern continuing on that fuckin awful pitch. Home win.
-
its a possibility but completely improbable.
-
Been saying it for months that squad is garbage. How can we have so many players who couldn't trap a bag of cement or pass the ball 10 feet to one of their own players under no pressure. Wimmer has inherited some amount of shite. He has a big rebuild, if we don't get dragged into the mix at the bottom. Based on the last two games that is still a possibility. Dundee beating Ranger 2-0 right now isn't a help. Who is rescuing Kilmarnock next week?

Id love Dundee Utd to blow it and end up in the bottom 6. Sometimes others fans pain can be so rewarding 😁 -
Need to play a lot better than the way we played against St Mirren. Cant see us winning a draw is the best I think we will get.

Its a big ask. St Mirren seem on paper to have the easier run in. They have Killie (H) Dundee (A) Ross County (H) -

Physically they bullied us. We tried to play at pace but too many couldn't control the ball played to them with any pace. Because of their physicality they pressed us hard and at times all we could do was the sideways pass or pass it back. I think we probably deserved the draw but nothing more. Olusanya was unlucky to be sent off but how the fuck that dirty wee bastard Declan John (24) stayed on was truly amazing , was at it all game and the ref let him away with it. -

Slattery, Gordon , Paton and Casey get pass marks the rest were pretty poor. When you play at pace you need to be able to control a quick ball which we failed to do all game. St Mirren bullied us all day and played the pressing game themselves (as well as being feckin dirty bastards). To be playing 10 men for 20 minutes and surrendering most of the possession in that 20 minutes was so frustrating. The players deserve credit for getting a point after being 2-0 down but does not disguise the fact we were poor in many areas.
