That's what I like about Kettlewell. He obviously isn't as brutal in this language as the fans but it clearly obvious he's seeing the same things we are.

Get out of jail there. How often do we need to see this shite from Mugabi and Lamie -
Not one league reconstruction has ever changed the product on the park. You hear the same pish every time, allows teams to play youngsters, takes away fear factor... It's all shite it's just rearranging the chairs on the Titanic. It doesn't increase crowds one bit. Fans are no more enticed by watching their playing Ayr Utd twice as opposed to St Mirren 3 times.
-
I wouldn't, any team with greater resources than us increases our percentage chances of struggling and even worse going down. I always like a few teams who cant out spend / resource us in the league. It improves our chances of staying where we are. That's why I was hoping Queens Park would come up , Dundee are an infinitely bigger threat to where we end up than Queens Park would have been.
-
I was wrong its Dundee Utd hes appears to be going to.
-
It will be St Mirrens big signing Robinson has been punting all weekend

McGuire is not the answer in any position. A Championship level player at best

Exactly all this talk about freeing up a wage is fanciful. He's been an expensive error.
-
He only played a couple of games but backed up everything the fans of his previously club said. A headless chicken. When you consider the apparent lengths we went to to get him you wonder who recommend that piss poor deal.

This is what depresses me about modern Football the club's have been very good at making the financial responsibility the responsibility of the fans. I didn't start supporting Motherwell to spend more time fretting about potential finances of transfer deals. I'm not getting at you our you message it just reflects how clubs have managed to make it the fans concern. I pay for for season ticket merchandise and other match day expenses. I like 1000s of other pay plenty. These really are not things that should animate us but they do.
-
Exactly.

We get this story every transfer window. They said that in January window and just about every transfer window in the last 10 years. Yet we still signed 9 players in January. It's like a broken record that I now pay little attention to.
-
and we may have dodged a bullet, a mates son worked for him and said he was the biggest clueless prick you could ever imagine.
-
Was Mandron offered one ?
-
Michael Higdons rate was one in every 5 games before he came to us.
-
It amazes me how many Motherwell fans get their knickers in a twist because we don't sign players early. We rarely do , the contracts we can offer will not have players jumping at them until they have checked all their options. There was never a likihood that we wouldnt sign players.
-
For me he's overrated , he's 36 and will cost too much for what we will get out of him.
-
Hope to fuck St Mirren win that race.
-
Agreed, I didn't think he did much wrong when he came on. Won't set the heather in fire but better than some of the dross we've had in midfield over the years.
-
I seriously dont think its as contrived as that re Scottish clubs. .I think Kettlewell said what he said hoping he'd start a bidding war . Its all part of the mind games. The bidding war didn't materialise so he will go for what the club consider realistic bid and I'd suspect that will be in the region of £750,000 when all topped and tailed.

As I've told you before I don't rate. our soon to be former. energetic midfielder and you do. That should be the end of our interactions on the subject of Cornelius. It called differing opinions. However you cant resist your sarky responses. Everyone who reads these posts should be well aware by now that I don't rate him and you do and I'm sure, like me, they are bored to fuck with our back and forth posts. So here is a proposition you ignore my posts and Ill happily ignore yours. Interactions over.

Really goes for nothing. Before we got Kelly we wouldnt have given his kinda money to any of the other players but we were desperate to get him and pushed the oat out. If a club wants something they find ways.

of course thats a given,
