How can you struggle to get the ball down. It's easy you send a message from your brain to your feet don't put the ball in the air. That's as hard as it gets -

Totally agree , we commented as soon as we arrived that the pitch was in pretty good nick considering their budget. It was flat plenty grass and perfectly playable, no worse than Fir Park is now. We lost because we were utter shite all over the park. Hoofball right from the off into a strong wind. I seriously wonder about the IQ of your average professional player, after five mins you could see putting the ball in the air was causing us problems but we continued for the entire first half. A big disappointment for me was the usual fuck up when we get a big crowd. Its happened nearly every time in my 46 years of watching our fuck ups. I heard a couple of people saying this was there first Motherwell game in ages and these folk won't be back. This continual fuck up has a drag and detrimental effect on us ever moving our regular crowds above 3500/4000. I can't blame them for not going. I left with twenty five mins to go. I couldn't stomach watching that shite any longer and I've watched them every week for 46 years. If it's doing that to me we have no chance with less committed fans. You can bet there will be a few shocks today and the draw will open up , that is also a regular occurrence every time we get fucked out by lower league opposition. I seriously am questioning why I bother. I was so confident we'd fuck up I stuck money on Morton. We seriously are a fuckin shambles. -

Morton were actually poorer than I was expecting but they were still too good for us. I say it time and again teams don't need to be good against us just patient as we will beat ourselves. -
Livi should have beat Kilmarnock tonight. Killie were utter shite but Livi got the luck bottom of the table teams get.
-
Livi know they are down so why go to the cost of sacking him when he's done a great job over the years and may bring them back up.

Fridays game could go any way. We should win it, but having watched us for 46 years I know should means fuck all. I think if we score 1st we will settle but if they get their noses in front it could be difficult but at least we'll have nearly 2000 fans to create a bit of atmosphere. Sadly the weather forecast is grim with real strong winds and their pitch is awful so it could be a real leveller and it turns into a boot and rush game. -
I am cos Adams would have taken them into the play off spot. They may actually fare better with a manager who isn't a complete diddly.
-
They played a high pressing game and their defence can't handle it. RC tactics played right into our hands.
-
As near perfect a performance as you will ever see Inna Motherwell shirt. He's on hot form at the right time for us and him. On his current form there is no way we will hold onto him. If he goes to St Mirren he's off his head bigger and better than them will be after him. Knowing our luck we will give Slattery a new deal. Last night also proved what I've ditched about for years. Our midfield has been a major part of our problems. When you get a midfield playing like they did last night the defence is not so constantly under pressure and they supply good chances for the forwards. It's an area of the team we've neglected for far too long and I mean ever before SK time. We've invariably has lightweights in the midfield. I know some ain't his biggest fan because of his final ball but Paton was winning everything in the midfield battles and played a big part last night. We do need to also acknowledge RC played a strange game and never changed it. They played a high pressing line but frankly don't have the defence to cope when they lose the ball. Everything went through Dhanda and he had poor support and we kept him on a tight reign. One of the most enjoyable games from a Motherwell fans perspective in a few years, dominant start to finish. 10-0 would not have been an injustice.

It's a double edged sword , as you say too many draws keeps us near the bottom but as long as we keeping getting points and not losing we pull clubs who may hit a bad run into the mix. The more clubs in the mix the bigger chance we have of escaping. Look at Hibs they've been utter shite and are now only 4 points ahead of us . Dundee are supposed to be having a great season and they are only 4 points ahead of us. If we keep putting points on the board when we do get a win it can move us up quite quickly as well as pulling others into the grubber.
-
Nowhere near consistent enough for me.
-
Those are the two I'd hate to lose , the rest I can take or leave.
-
😁😁😆
-
Fair enough , I just never bother about ex players especially if they are trying to help a team beat us, once they are in that arena they are fair game. Once they are ex players I don't give two fucks about them.
-
Exactly , football is tribal and that's half the appeal, I seriously wonder if some of these pundits / media guys have actually supported a team like real fans.
-
I don't know why that would alter folk booing him today. He was out to damage us today, so he was fair game. Tom Boyd captained us in the Cup win but I'd boo that bastard every minute of every day .. I'd boo the cunt if I saw him going to the ice cream van 😁😁
-
KVV is now an opponent out to harm us on the park, fuck him, he's history and he's fair game petulant big dick.
-
We were piss poor for 30 mins, we settled and should have won it. Thought it was a could leading up to Millie's goal but will wait for TV evidence . We should have beat Hibs, St J and now Kilmarnock. Very frustrating but the fact team are not dominating us and we keep chipping away with points could be crucial. We could see Hibs dragged into the fight. They are pish and now only 4 points ahead of us. Three points against RC could be huge. Thought Theo had a great game and Mr reliable McGinn had another good solid performance.

I like SK, I do think he is bursting his hump to make us better. Rarely are his post match comments wide of the mark. His transfer dealings up to this window were nowt to get excited about. However many in our support are utterly delusional about what players we should go for or indeed would want to come to us. I hope his signings turn it around for him this time, even just to shut the cunts up who have it signed sealed and delivered that every signing is shite by looking at their Wikipedia history. Our fans reaction over the transfer window has been way over the top without knowing fuck all about any of them. St Mirren, Livingstone, St Johnstone and Ross County have all done next to fuck all in the window and we were starting to amass more points than them in the recent form guide. So unlike many of our support I'm not in the depths as despair yet , I wait and see before rushing to judgement.

Who has told us we can't match Killie and St Mirren? we need to differentiate between can't and won't and it's a question that can be asked of the Society. There's a world of difference between the two positions.
-
I take your point the figures at best are conjecture but the fact remains the Well Society are sitting with £650,000 in the bank and the club have stated they have money in the bank. These are statements of fact. So to say we are skint isn't true. We, I'm sure , will not be awash with cash but we are not penniless. Whatever KVV is costing to say we couldn't afford it for 25 weeks until seasons end I think is untrue, unless of course what we have been told about the Well Society and the club having money in the bank is pish. To my mind we made a judgement call and for my mind rightly said we wouldn't pay it. However we will see once the next lot of club accounts are published.
-
Being Devils advocate , to say we couldnt afford his wages is patently untrue. The Well society are sitting on £650,000 that the club could have drawn down on. They shouldn't have needed to as the club have said they have money in the Bank. KVV would have been secured for around £150,000 but we chose not to go there. Folk can agree or disagree whether we should or shouldn't have. If the club had to pay £150,000 fine tomorrow or be closed down could they get £150,000 ? Of course they could. So I don't buy the "we couldn't afford it" line.
-
The club would never touch that bastard Efford. He can go take a running fuck to himself. He was a disgrace feigning injury to force the club into letting him go. If that bastard was the last striker on the planet I wouldn't touch him. An absolute disgrace of a pro.
-
Definitely the worst pant wetting January window I've seen. I do consider some of it over the top. I will wait and see what the signings do before signing our demise. Certain facts still remain St J, Ross County and Livingston haven't exactly strengthened to any great degree and from the outside still basically look shite.
-
I'll wait and see the players we have got perform before I decide if I'm scunnered
