If ever a game epitomises being a Motherwell fan that was it. In complete control at 3-1. Virtually threw the ball in the net for them to make it 3-2. Struggling to contain DU at that point but break up the park and restore the 2 goal lead , time to relax ? fuck no, its Motherwell...... horrendous defending and its 4-3. Until 3-2 we were playing nice football, a million times better than the shite we watched in Paisley. After it went to 3-2 we lost our composure completely and were delighted to hear the final whistle. Thought DU were worth a point but delighted they didn't get it.

All big "ifs" if they they got that kind of money and if they wanted to build a new stand I doubt very much theyd spend all £8 million on it.

You are probably right but with the changes in building techniques it may not be as difficult or as intrusive to have a stand running the full length as it was in the 1960s.

We actually owned that house at one point .. I had heard many moons ago that part of the condition of its sale back to a private house was no planning objections could be lodged should the club ever wish to extend the stand. Not sure how true that is.

would be rather ironic if we did seeing as Liverpool paid for the current Main Stand with the sale of Ian St John to them in the 1960s

St Mirren tried to play the ball on the deck more than us we spent 90% of the time playing hoofball. Two utterly shite teams but Id say St Mirren did less of the utterly pointless hoofball than us ...

Truly horrific game, two of the most honking teams in the league on that display but frankly I don't give a fuck. All that mattered was the 3 points and fitting that one of the few men in a Motherwell top who wasn't pish all game got the winner. Can we also stop the "Fat Tony" stuff , christ almighty if some of you think he's fat you should be at spec savers no Fir Park. Please let that be Jairs last ever game.

Hibs do have a pretty decent record at Fir Park and I think a defeat could well be on the cards.

Hibs are truly awful but you gotta say the amount of sending offs they are getting is crucifying them. That's their 5th sending off this season.

Disagree RC deserved their win, Oxborough brought off 3 really good saves. RC keeper could have had a deck chair and a fag.

Ross County are a bit more free scoring than us but defensively worse. This will be a tough game but it's a venue we haven't done too bad at in the past. On current form we should be looking to win but I got a feeling a hard fought draw is on the cards.

Only saw the second half and that was brutal. Play in possession is shocking. Midfield posted missing. Only positive from what I saw was 3 points.
