  1. Thought today was an awful game and showed up our many limitations however just like the Livingston game the only thing that mattered was the result. The players stuck to their task and we were LONG overdue a bit of luck which we got. Dundee Utd are utter shite. Taken 9 points off us and have never been the better team. I think they are the Jammiest team in the league. I got a terrible feeling they'll fluke some kind of result tomorrow.
  2. Nail on the head ... our game management was awful. Our passing in possession also awful. Taking the ball off our players is like taking sweeties off a wean.
  3. 1 point from our next 3 , we can analyse everything to death but we are basically a mediocre (bordering on poor) team with a manager who instils no confidence in me whatsoever. However he will have met the target the club set him so we wont be sacking him. If I was a betting man I think there is a good chance we will be sacking him in October. We weren't lucky to get into the top six, we got the necessary points required , there is no other stat required. Yep we've been garbage for most of the season but half the league have been worse. Similarly we weren't unlucky yesterday we just weren't good enough. Doesn't matter a fuck about near misses. You get the same for near misses and no chances at all. Tierney wasn't unlucky when he hit the post, the Dundee Utd defender closed him down sufficiently well that it left him no space to get the ball in the goal. Woolery hitting the bar was not unlucky it was poor finishing. Tierney wasn't unlucky with the chip it was just rank rotten play. Dundee Utd got a fortunate deflection for the goal however had our finishing and final ball been better it wouldn't have been so costly. We don't have the run of result we've had for nearly 5 months because of bad luck. We have been so consistently poor that any good fortune the opposition might get finishes us off. The opposition just need to be patient against us nothing else.
  4. well at least something would be cemented cos the players couldnt trap a bag of it.
  5. its not down to luck its down to basics, we are pish. Utd have been garbage every game we've played them and they've beat us 3 teams. I'm fed up hearing myself say it. Team don't need to be good against us just patient.
  6. For those with a stronger stomach than mine I hope your expensive day out is rewarded. Although I thoroughly expect us to be rank rotten and capitulate with little or no fight.
  7. Have you watched Gallagher , hes been utter pish at Aberdeen and frankly his last season with us he was nowhere near as good as he was the season before. That said with one leg hes better than Ojala and Solholm
  8. There is nothing revisionist about it. TW, even when he wasn't scoring gave us options we just don't have now. His hold up play was immense.
  9. Anything is possible but we know what's probable. We had a player who was on fire who more than most created the results before Christmas. Since he left we have been rank rotten every week for 4 months.
  10. So we will do more in one week than we've done in 4 months .... mmmmmm I think not. We are garbage its that simple. Teams don't need to try against us just be patient. If you look at all the goals we've conceded since Christmas the vast majority come down to basic errors that could be easily avoided. That's what frustrates me most team just don't need to work hard against us.
  11. I wouldn't put bad money on any permutation the squad is ineffective and extremely limited.
  12. watching the dundee utd v hearts game , dundee utd are fucking honking TW totally anonymous but they will take care of us wie their eyes shut. At half time the commentators going over all the top 6 fixture permutations and finishes off with " as for Motherwell they wont trouble anyone" , hard to hear but 100% correct. Final score ... Utd 2 v Hearts 3 ... really good game. Hearts were really good on the eye , Utd pedestrian , TW anonymous but Utd will still be too good for our midfield and defence. Thats got to be some kind of record how many weeks results have gone our way and almost without exception we fuck up.
  13. Why not , he gave Jake Carrol an extension and he will never make a footballer if he lives to be a 100.
  14. Cheers Cunt , you can also put me on ignore instead of whinging like a big wummin.
  15. Easy answer for cunts like you is don't read it,..nobody's holding a gun to your head.
  16. Likewise mate I just want to see the back of this shite and if we are still playing like this in September the back of Alexander too.
  17. I cant remember Kelly having to make any kind of save that would't be run of the mill stuff... "How many did their keeper have to stop"?? we had ten men we wouldn't be expecting him to make many if any. Hibs were garbage and have the same honking run of form as us because they are garbage just like us. A half decent performance with 11 men would have seen Hibs off.
  18. I dont know if Id be exactly happy , what we have watched this season has been the most mind numbing garbage. If we have to watch this again next year god help us.
  19. hes slower than me and his positional sense is honking , he can leave any time. Wish to fuck Lammie was staying
  20. Finish the season well ??? with all due respect mate what have you been watching since Christmas. we will be 8th at best.
  21. I will be if the OF get put out while they are in it I'm not too bothered
  22. Bang on, we are shite every week and today was no different we gift teams games.
  23. our target now is avoiding a play off spot , We have 3 games that in any other year you'd say would put up in the top 6. We will take 2 points out the next 9. A shambolic season watching the most horrendous football imaginable. Burrows will be making a big decision in October.
