TBF you're one of the people I do likewise , maybe we should start a double act.

teams at the arse end of the league have beaten us when we were 4th / 5th . / 6th / 7th / 8th .. and the bottom team beat us two weeks on the trot when we were 5th. In this league everyone up to 2nd is beatable unless of course its us they are facing , 1 win in 11 is absolutely abysmal.

You dont understand the doom and gloom ? seriously .. one win in 11 , DU honking have pretty much 1 or 2 chances and they still beat us. Yeah we were better today but that in no way means we were good. First touch still abysmal, set pieces amateurish , passing wayward.

I keep saying it. The squad is piss poor and full of dross. We should have got a point today against a piss poor Dundee Utd team who hadn't won in 6 games but yet again we lost. We lost because we are garbage. Wimmer can try and change the style which we should support. We have handed every team that's struggling the lift they need because our passing is abysmal, our control and first touch woeful and positional play non existent. That ain't changing for the Dundee game. Dundee are on an horrendous run they've beaten us twice already this season without being good in either. Teams only need one chance against us and we are beat. There isn't a snowballs chance in hell we will beat Dundee.

of course he does but frankly he has fuck all to work with. I fully expect us to rescue Dundee on Wednesday cos we are basically pish all over the park.

Totally agree I thought he was overrated when he was with us. Hes not a bad player but nowhere near as good as some Motherwell fans would have you believe. I watched him against Kilmarnock and frankly he did fuck all of note. That said he wont need to reach any heights to dominate our midfield.

I'm no great fan of Hallliday picking one over the other is like being asked what baw would you prefer to be cut off. However I think Halliday is marginally better on the ball. That said we arent as dire as we are because the midfield is a powerhouse of ability.

If he was fine at anything his arse wouldnt be parked on the bench so often. I think he's fuckin awful. Others are free to think differently of course 😁.

Stuart Kettlewell and Stevie Hammel knew plenty about Scottish football , doesnt mean they are good. Any change of manager is a risk. However Wimmers appointment is no more risky than anyone else.

The same ones currently saying Thistle sacking Doolin is harsh, when Thistle gave him a decent budget to try and get promotion and they may be 4th but in are in complete freefall.

Id be astonished , each game has been a single goal victory and confidence a lot higher and our position far less precarious.

Don't expect so, still see a defeat on the cards. We were rank rotten last game at Tannadice and lucked out even when confidence was far higher than it is now.

Maybe this appointment will finally stop folk posting bookies odds on a new manager. Bookies odds tell us fuck all other than what bets are being paced by people who know fuck all. As for the appointment , its quite incredible how tightly wrapped the club kept this. Like ALL appointments its a gamble. No one ever comes with guarantees. I think he has a hell of a job ahead of him. As I have said before - and I know others don't agree - I don't rate our squad at all but all the new manager needs to do is stop us ending up 11th / 12th and in the summer we can clear out the huge amounts of dead wood in our enormous squad.

the discussion was whether we have a crap squad not whether we are stuck with them because a blind man and his dug knows we are stuck with them.
