  1. Pitiful display. Quality of passing abysmal. A second goal for Aberdeen is only a matter of time.
  2. I do think it will be interesting to see if there are more VAR interventions for referees that are universally considered to be honking. I can't wait to see Willie Collums first VAR game. Thank fuck Madden's away he'd have broke the technology in one game.
  3. Fuck me how often do we play the ball back to Kelly for him to hoof to no cunt. It's hard enough to have possession against Celtic without this fuckin awful tactic. Anyway game done. Off to do something else.
  4. Game playing out as predictable as usual. Same shite defending we see every week.
  5. And a miracle it will be. It will be the same old same old. Thankfully my arse is parked in warmer climes for this one and I can switch off when the game follows the normal course of events for an OF game. I used to laugh and day I'll go to my grave and never see us beat Rangers and Celtic and ever again. Sadly with the record we have built up that statement ain't so funny anymore.
  6. Offside is a very easy one to control and measure. The Governing body deems at the outset the measurement for offside, if it a big toe then so be it. If every decision is measured to the big toe we have consistency. The difficulty arises if you leave it to people's judgement and the VAR cameras can , for offside, get it right 99.9% of the time if the scope is clearly defined.
  7. My gripe is its never a easy place to go but why make it easier for Hibs, our distribution was utterly woeful. Too many hoofs long from Kelly which just added to the continual surrender of possession. When you give any team , even as piss poor as Hibs were yesterday, as much free possession they will always likely get a goal.
  8. I recorded the game and watched it again tonight and the first half we most certainly hoofed it high most of the time.
  9. Efford was immense tonight. I think he's one of the most improved players since GA left. Delighted for him to get a goal and a good one it was.
  10. Really poor first half, couldn't make up my mind if it was RC that forced us into hoofball or that's the way we decided to play. Second half was like night and day so I suspect hoofball wasn't our plan. Played really well in the second half and were clinical.
  11. Not over analysing that. I just thoroughly enjoyed watching that today. On another day we win comfortably. Just one of those days. Not much else wrong other than not scoring. How bad was Tony Watt £4 grand a week for that shite. MOTM by a country mile Ricki Lammie.
  12. I totally agree I was very unsure about this move but fuck it he's here he loves the club let the over the top jingoism be rewarded.
  13. I don't think there is a Motherwell fan alive that doesn't want this to work. This guy has genuine feelings for the club and that's so very rare especially for someone not brought up following the club. I don't think its a risk , it either works or it doesn't. If it doesn't work its not going to have any lasting effect on us. If it does work out what a striking partnership we potentially have. What I would give for him to score the wining goal against this mob tomorrow. Even better if TW is trudging off with his face up his arse. Being Motherwell its unlikely to pan out like that. Tomorrow will have special atmosphere and we so so often kill that with a honking result or performance.... Please just this once let the hype , the occasion and the result all go together.
  14. A day I seriously thought I'd never ever see, us actually putting they b.......ds out the cup. Next to the Cup Semi Final and Final the favourite Motherwell moment.
  15. 6/7 years older having done nothing since he left and being hampered by injury why would that thought occur.
  16. The obsession with getting Moult back by some fans has me baffled if Im honest.
  17. I'd be amazed if Hearts were looking at Moult. Moults record since leaving us is nothing of note and his game time, sadly for him through injury, has been poor. If he signs for us I wish him well but he's not one I'd be pushing the boat out to get.
  18. KVV on fire tonight as well as the goals his support play much better.
  19. Im meaning on a personal level for him. Theres no doubt we'd be fucked without his goals. That said Id have scored 3 of his goals, much of his play is poor, too greedy and dispossessed too easily because he will not play other in. Would I still play him ? of course because no one else is scoring but the fact he has scored goals does not excuse his over all contribution from being looked at.
  20. 100% agree the only thing keeping his head above water are the goals. Taking the ball off him far too easy , nearly always fails to play the man in.
  21. The midfield were bye passed it was hoofball all second half.
  22. yep the subs were needed they just didnt change it.
  23. I disagree the pattern of the game was running away from us and he tried to change it just didnt work it made no difference. Kilmarnock had us running about like headless chickens from 30 mins onwards well before the subs.
  24. Sadly that lasted 30 mins then it was utter dross for the remainder of the match with hoofball and amateurish defending. We could have had a hiding today if Killie had shown any composure.
