  1. Really goes for nothing. Before we got Kelly we wouldnt have given his kinda money to any of the other players but we were desperate to get him and pushed the oat out. If a club wants something they find ways.
  2. If the reported £10 grand a week is true I think he will bite their handoff and rightly so.
  3. you seem to have trouble understanding that we have some good players , some mediocre players and some pish players. Some would be hard to replace some pretty easy. Its hardly a radical position to have. Thank God you aint on the recruitment team we'd still have Bob Malcom
  4. It will be a straightforward process to replace the contributions oof the likes of Cornelius, McGinley, Carrol and Mugabi should they all leave at some point because these players are ten a penny. We wont replace KVV with anyone who will score 29 goals.
  5. Im gonna have a wild guess and plump for Dundee as his next club.
  6. Completely indifferent to his departure, he is infinitely replaceable.
  7. It is indeed I don't know how many times our fans need told about the money for the ground improvements. The money came from a substantial loan from the Scottish Govt which was offered on no interest payments and could be paid back over a period of twenty years. The club would have been mad not to take a loan on those terms. The money could not be spent on players or staff wages.
  8. I'm not asking you to trust fcuk all. I don't rate him you do end of story , time will tell.
  9. Corneleus is a lightweight its got feck all to do with a wee mistake. Hes very easily dispossessed and isnt particularly strong in the tackle. He does have youth on his side and that may improve but for me doesnt particularly add anything.Thats the reason he warms the bench more often that not. Nobody would be more delighted than me if he became a mainstay of the team but don't expect it to happen.
  10. I think not. Goss is technically a better player of the ball than Cornelius, in my opinion. The fact they play different roles is immaterial. Goss can ride a tackle Cornelius is far too easily muscled out. Goss reads the game better than Cornelius. Cornelius is to prone to be a headless chicken. Hes young enough where that may improve. Would it be harder to replace Goss in his role than Cornelius in his role ? I think the answer is yes. For me Goss is a better asset. Cornelius is very replaceable within our budget.
  11. See Tony Watt says he knows who hes playing for next season. My moneys on Dundee. Apparently Dunne going to them. Hope they take McGuire too.
  12. I would aghree with all of that other than Joe Efford. He was bang on form just when he got injured. He had a slow start with us but he was turning in some great performances. I'd offer him another deal.
  13. Name the last 32 year old playing in the SPFL who cost the buying club £2 million never mind £4 million.
  14. Kevin Nisbet is 26 , whether we like it or not being 32 puts a definite limit on KVV salability. I'd be amazed but delighted if we get 7 figures. £750,000 tops is what I think it will be. Love to be wrong. However there are three parties in this agreement that need to be happy, the player, his agent and the club.
  15. 2-3 million for a 32 year old is most certainly pricing him out of a big money move he's earned.
  16. we got a penalty for the exact same thing against Ross County.
  17. Being a Motherwell fans seems to be enough for some of our supporters neither Cornelieus or McKinstry has merited a starting place.
  18. was as good home crowd today , if we could just brake this bloody cycle of around 4000 every week which seems to have been our standard for years. What a difference it make to the atmosphere.
  19. We were really poor in the first half. Utd could have been 3 - 1 up by half time. Much better second half we stopped the aimless punt and started trying the pressing game on the deck and eventually ran out comfortable winners.
  20. I agree there are inconsistencies. The introduction of VAR never promised every error would be eliminated but if the media, especially ex player pundits, would just take a deep breath and ask has VAR allowed officials to get more right than wrong and it has. The issue is the media need something to obsess about and pundits need something to talk shite about. If a game has 4 VAR interventions 3 are right 1 is wrong all they focus on is the 1 wrong one and VAR was never a promise of infallibility.
