Yep that’s often forgotten, a good 60/70% of the final support have probably attended a game this season. The pull of Celtic and Rangers hits home support, not sure it’s a price thing for the average supporter. I would love summer football but that’s just the fact i’m getting older and hate the cold.

Yep, that would do for me. However sometimes just when you think you are moving forward you take a step back, Thistle being a prime example this season. If we lose one or two their replacements will make or break next season, Main replacing Molt the difference this season between struggling and comfort. If we had signed a complete dud we may well have struggled.

I have a feeling Aldred will be back again after signings a permanent deal. A while ago the word on here was we were going to sign the Grimsby goalkeeper which sounded to me like Carson probably was on his way. Still think Kipre will be with us until at least January.

We were in the disabled bus parked right in the middle of the car park. We were the only bus that went out the main entrance and through all the Celtic fans right after the game finished, after our driver had an row with the steward. Not sure how that would have gone if we had won the game.

Most people in England are the same as most people in Scotland, decent hard working individuals with the same values. When I moved up from Yorkshire 20 years ago I was told all sorts of prejudiced nonsense about life in Scotland, it was all obviously rubbish.

I just find it all a bit daft, as I say go and ask the average Celtic fan about the history of the conflict and they will not have a clue. It’s not that have a genuine understanding and passion to see change, it’s all false and postering because the cameras are there.

Personally I think politics and sport should be kept apart, I go to a game of football to actually watch football. There is a lot wrong in the world and for me football is about forgetting everyday life for an afternoon. Half of their support probably understand little of the issues anyway.

The amazing thing is Bury fans think he’s rubbish, must have been surrounded by some awful players to look that bad.

Game just completely passed him by sadly.

I would not say no to someone coming in who could control central midfield but realistically with the numbers we already have it’s not going to happen.

Well I thought we maybe had a 10% chance but really that disappeared after 10 minutes. We just never turned up and they just strolled through our midfield at will. It was all over well before half time. In my view we did exactly the same in the first 30 minutes as we did in the first cup final, we sat off them and gave them too much credit, that fear factor again. Totally different to the way we went about our business in both the cup semis against Aberdeen and Rangers. Celtic are of course a far better team then either of those two but I just wish we had gone high tempo, in their face from the off. That was really our only chance of success today. But still great season still in my view.

No drink now for me as i’m driving but just went to the garage in Kirky and a guy opens the door for me and says “I thought I was the only Motherwell fan here”.

I would not give any Thistle player a shout, not one of them is good enough for us.

It surely can’t be anything other than a new signing ?

It sport so yes shocks happen. On paper we maybe have a 5/10% chance of winning, we all know that’s the reality. Hopefully Saturday is that 5/10% moment.

But this is Robinson’s style and why would he change something that works ? He obviously thinks on our budget this style of football gives the best chance of success. Hard to argue after this season really. Not always pretty to watch but again can we afford players with a better technical ability that would develop us further ?

I think Rose is underestimated in truth, puts in a shift and we often looking better with him in the team.

Yep, the whole thing is inaccurate with no real substance. You would almost think the guy had not seen a Motherwell game this season.

Not for me i’m afraid, seen him a few times this season and he’s not good enough in my view.

I would not hold out huge hope for more creativity in truth, we have that already in midfield with Biggi and he can’t get a game. Not sure that’s the Robinson way.
