Already stated the players I feel are good enough, if you disagree and feel Campbell, Carson, Gallagher, O’Donnell, Watt and the likes are all rubbish that’s your prerogative.

To say we have no quality in the squad is simply not true, unless you think none of the above players already mentioned have any quality, these are players that got us to third last season and are internationals. They are not playing well, confidence has hit the floor, we need to strengthen, and the established players need to do better, but the cupboard is certainly not empty. Many other teams at this level would bite your hand off for a good half dozen of our first choice 11.

Yes confidence has dropped and their form is also suffering, that’s the job of the new guy.

We’ve lost Carson, Carroll, Donnelly for most of this season, Gallagher, O’Donnell, Carson and Campbell are all internationals, Watt has plenty of talent, Polworth had more or less the highest assists in the division last season. When they are all back fit they are more than good enough but we do need strengthening. I was really just trying to make that point that getting rid of everyone is simply not needed. Confidence is very low but three or four additions would make a huge difference, if they are the right additions. It’s easy to just throw the baby out of the bath because we’re doing badly but it would not take much to turn things around in my view.

Dull but sensible choice simply for his ability to organise.

Carson, Gallagher O’Donnell, Campbell, Polworth, Carroll, Donnelly, Watt are all more than good enough for this league.

It really is not. We need to strengthen the spine of the team, losing Carson and OHara for this one has made things a whole lot worse

A couple of quality players would certainly have made a difference, but we went down a different route.

I don’t think we are quite getting the balance right at the moment with a little more investment needed. However I also think Covid and no support has played a big part in things just now, the club are obviously being very careful due to the uncertain future.

But would he as good as give away a goal just about every game ? We’re short of option for sure and he would be out of position but so was Donnally and to a degree OHara. Other than that put McGuire in who has played centre half plenty of times.

Personally I don’t mind him getting another shot under a new manager, very much a confidence player so he might see it as a new opportunity, we will see. Delighted to see Carroll start, a proper left back.

You just never know, Robinson was back up to two failed managers and did ok in my view.

As above though you never know, there is plenty of quality in the squad, confidence however is low. A change of manager often gives that bounce effect.

Frustrating being the word, can’t blame Robinson for this one. All the technical ability yet could start a game and you forgot he was there he was so ineffective. A fantastic show pony at times.

Maybe loan him out to another club where he will get more game time ? Championship level would make sense.

Do Rangers not have an option to recall him this month ?

Not really a surprise, Lasley was surely always going to be next in line should he prove himself.

Do we honestly think we’re going to turn into Brazil under any manager, we are not going to be paying the money for technically accomplished players. Wright was a success because he played to the strengths of averagely gifted but solid, hard working players very much the way Robinson did while we were doing well. I don’t see that changing with us, it’s still going to be one good game, one bad game which I’m guessing is pretty much the history of Motherwell football club.
