If his legs haven't gone, Bruce would be a good signing. Was always well like by Ipswich fans

And if my auntie had a cock she'd be my uncle!!!

I'm really surprised that anyone wouldn't have anything but high praise for Skippy. The bad season, good season, bad season comment above is perhaps a solid reason why all Well fans should have a special place in their heart for Scott McDonald. We've seen some talented players throughout football over the years who were in a losing team that is generally below their own ability levels and simply chuck it and wait for the next move. To the contrary, when in bad motherwell teams, Skippy has never hidden, always worked hard and always been a right royal pain in the arse. I love him, he will be missed terribly and should be given legendary status.

Or perhaps the name Sandy Bryson was pulled out of a google search and someone is just talking nonsense?
-
Come on then, is Sandy Bryson a close friend of yours? A fellow member of an exclusive club that only globe trotting taxi drivers with CIA access codes and SFA officiados are entitled membership to? What was I saying about over egging it?

I'm hearing lots of chat from friends in the relative know at Charlton that Karl Robinson is really keen on taking Louis Moult to the Valley. Part of me is gutted at the prospect of us having to repair the hole we'll have without him but the other part of me thinks YES (I'm at the valley most weeks now) Louis is just the type of striker that could push Charlton to the playoffs. I think if he does go, he'll go to league 1 which willbe the most competitive it has been in years. There are some relatively big payers in there and Louis is guaranteed to match or better his tally with us in that league. As an aside, charlton released Adam Chicksen much to the surprise of most fans with whom he was well liked. A fairly experienced league 1 LB, perhaps the wage would be an issue but he's dropped from championship to league 1 and his next move is crucial to bounce a stuttering career. He'd do well for us!!!

I know for a fact Frear was on £50k a year a forest green. For once, you make a good point but as ever, you've over egged it.

Ps I love it!!!

How old is this badge?

Really???? That kit was put together by a blind man on an acid trip. It's a travesty that we had such a memorable season in it. Simply terrible!!!!!
-
Is it definitely Macron again next year? I thought this was the last year of the contract

Is that the same John Ruddy who left us to play in the English Premiership, earn rave reviews and an England call up? Yeah, he's pish!!!

I really hope to god we aren't actually in for Rory Donnelly. I've got several mates who are Gills fans and they all dislike the bloke. Apparently his attitude is questionable (a bit of a big time Charlie) and is often anonymous. I've watched gillingham three times this season and with the exception of Bradley Dack and Cody McDonald, there is no one in their squad that I'd want Motherwell to touch with a barge poll. Apparently their most expensive squad of all time, they really are bad. With regards the mess Motherwell are in, unless the business model changes (which will require increased budget, so won't happen), relegation is absolutely inevitable within the next few years. I am a self confessed happy clapper but to budget for 10th with a small squad in such a fiercely contested league (at the bottom at least) is quite simply putting our limited resource on red and spinning the wheel. Robinson seems like a good bloke with a good attitude but he's done nothing so far to convince me that our future has any promise with him in charge. I'm sad to say, with every week that passes, as I take my boy to the valley, the less and less I think about Motherwell. Am I the only one who feels less emotion about the dire league position we are currently in than I did this time two years ago?

Our first season back in the top flight was 85-86, when the likes of Gardner, Wright and Reilly were at the club ? Ian McLeod was captain ? Walker, Wishart, Boyd, McCart and Alex Kennedy were the hot new talent. That was when I started going regularly as a wee boy and was at virtually every home game that season. I think it's a case of rose tinted specs but I liked the likes of 'ruby' Murray, John Reilly and Tam McAdam (who arrived the following season). But I guess when falling in love with your team, no matter how shite they are, each player in claret and amber was a hero. Ps that is also my favourite well kit of all time.

You're right...Jamie Fairlie. I hated him for that goal alone. I was young at the time and that's my excuse. A player I did like around that time who I often heard getting slated was John Reilly.

Just to clarify, I never thought Brian Wright was that bad and absolutely there were worse than him coming in an out of the team on Tommys conveyor belt of transfers. But as a centre mid, he didn't really set the heather on fire, hence only being with us for only a year or so. It was because of that 'windmill' run that my dad developed that irrational hatred. Now, a player that I hated was Dave McCabe. Did heehaw in a Motherwell jersey and then papped off to the accies. In the first derby after signing for them, the wee prick scores against us at Douglas Park and runs the length of the stand getting right into the faces of the traveling 'Well support. http://www.sportsworldcards.com/ekmps/shops/sportsworld/images/motherwell-dave-mccabe-438-panini-football-90-football-trading-sticker-28154-p.jpg Wee shite!!!

Brian Wright. He was in the midfield when I first started coming to fir park and my auld man developed a really irrational dislike for the big man. He used to rant about how he didn't even look like a footballer.
-
Really? I know quite a lot of hammers fans and none of them have moaned about Randolph.
-
Crikey, can't say I'm enthused by that lol
-
Are you enthused by the prospect of signing this guy?
-
Tried to quote, but won't let me???? Ya Bezzer, if it doesn't come off, will you tell us who it was?
-
Wight you are wondonwell

I watched Theo Robinson lead the line for Southend yesterday against Charlton. I'm not sure if it was because of Charltons inability to keep a pig oot a close or whether he played well, but he did cause problems.
