Well done ladies!!!

And there he/she goes again. Blindly insulting people without provocation. On this occasion, some semblance of a decent point but true to form, ruined by keyboard thuggery.
-
Had a quick look at an oxford forum the other day and it's fair to say that there are some beginning to question the money spent on Marv and Kane Hemmings. Many others are saying it's early doors and that Marv will come good. I've always said it, unless Marv improves his stamina and resilience, he's a mid league 1 player at best.

I really wish the club did more to raise awareness of this team.

Please enlighten me. Where is the waffle. I will bow to any argument you make that is backed by evidence and or logic

Honestly, I sit and read this and shake my head. There's absolutely no necessity for anyone to be insulting on this thread. What's the need to be questioning someone's bottle just because they may express a different view to yours??? Really, please stop it. With regards youth development, I think the club are in a bit of a catch 22. We have obvious weaknesses in midfield yet the manager has decided not to go with youth in there. There will be reason for this and the only one I can think of is that he doesn't think that the young mildfielders he has to choose from are able to do the job he wants doing. We have a smaller squad than the majority of our contemporaries and much of that squad is made up of the youth players already mentioned. I guess, there is a considerable risk in loaning them out as it would leave a weakened resilience if in the event of injuries and suspension. For me, the question should be is it better keeping them for the bench (for the benefit of the team) or better loaning them out (for the benefit of the player)? Loaning them to non league English football isn't an option otherwise it would've happened by now. The harsh reality is that it isn't a great deal worse than our standard and many of those clubs have more to spend than we do. At least by loaning out to other Scottish clubs, the lads get to continue training with the Motherwell and management get to keep a close eye on their development.

I've got one of these shirts. I picked it up on eBay a couple of years ago from what looks like the same sellers as above. I also bought the Ipswich one of the same era shortly after. I've got to say, it's a very good replica of the original. A lot thicker than your average football shirt, it's still quite soft and doesn't destroy your nipples like so many old school replica shirts tend to. I wouldn't say that it's a particularly slim fit Busta. Iit looks the nuts with a pair of jeans and has often drawn comment on how smart the shirt is.

I bet you're the sort of bloke that laughs at his own jokes, the sort of guy who loves to share his unchallengeable knowledge with all who come into close proximity (most punters just nod and agree with a taxi driver when he's talking pish) and was most definitely, the sort of guy who keeps acting like a muppet thinking he's the veritable wit for his audience of 'friends' when in reality, his 'friends' are laughing at him just cos he's a fucking muppet!!! And as it goes, I really couldn't give a fuck how much you or any other taxi driver earns. It's not an easy living to make and good luck anyone willing to graft for a living whatever it is they do. But seriously mate, wrap it wi the Del Trotter bullshit.

Ok, I'm in the cold with all of this so please anyone feel free to fill in the blanks and answer the following.... 1. Who are the Albo 10? 2. Why are they known as the Albo 10? 3. The one member of the Albo 10 you speak of, is he Kaiser Soze? 4. Have we signed Liam Neeson? 5. Why is it an issue all of a sudden?

Why? That game was by no means in the bag. I don't necessarily think that Ainsworth was the right call, but it wasn't your typical "we've Scored 4 and coasting" game and not the one to bring Dom into. That said, I agree with the point that this will likely be Lionel's last year with us and that this is a crucial time for Dom that will go a long way to determining if he's ever going to make it. Hopefully we'll see him fighting for that step up and being the star we all want him to be. -

As much as he's exactly what we need, I suspect there's next to no chance of us getting Crawford. The lad is quality and I'm surprised he's still there actually. I know skippy can be frustrating but he never hid today, yeah his passing isn't the best but he's a striker not CM playmaker. The lad Bowman should be pleased with his performance today and i look forward to seeing how he beds into the side. I don't think Tait was as bad as some are saying. Yeh, should've done better with their first but he's not solely culpable, he and the CBs stood off and gave way to much space. With the second, it was good movement and a cracking finish from Crawford but he should have been picked up. Again, ball watching. I absolutely fucking love Louise Moult, the lads attitude is second to none. I suspect he'll have a point to prove and will be going all out for his big move. I think he is and always has been a more valuable player for us than Marv and it's great to see him back AND with such a bang. Midfield resilience still and issue but I'm feeling quite optimistic for the months ahead -
I think there's definitely mileage in any kind of subsidised child entry scheme, whatever format it may take. I guess the major sticking point would be who would subsidise it. I remember being a member of the Claret and Amber club when I was little and it made the difference between being able to go and not. Same with the travel club. I'm sure there are lots of families like mine was like back then where money is tighter than Harry Stiles favourite jeans. They can't afford to take their kids to FP or indeed if they are taking their kids, be able to pitch in towards the subsidy. Even if it were to become entirely fan bankrolled, it would take time and initial investment from the club.

I suspect you've missed the point but Glad you've calmed down.....G'on yersel big man

Aye ok mate. Your opinion is more important than mine, I bow to your greater knowledge, education and intellect. Just before you celebrate your victory, go and look up the meaning of the word 'allude'.

You called the bloke an arsehole and said that the club made your head hurt?????? See, I interpreted McGhees comments differently to you. We each have formed opinions based upon what he said. You say yourself that "the article alludes" as the justification for your opinion. I've chosen not to look for hidden inferences or casual references. Perhaps our new fan engagement manager may be able to keep the flow of information from the club more regular and literal but there will always be the cynic who will always question it. If you're reading this......Good luck Ryan Murrant

A perfect example of the cynicism I spoke of earlier. This is a typical fact versus opinion scenario. What we (as fans) know as fact is that Lucas was an unused sub during his contracted period with the club. We know that McGhee has stated previously that he would have liked to to have signed Clay and Lucas but finances prohibited that. We know that McGhee has stated that he wants to play 433 but at this time can't due to injury. What we don't know as fact is why McGhee never used Lucas from the bench. We don't know if Lucas was match fit. We don't know if McGhee is sincere in what he says publicly about formations or his players. We don't know if Lucas is actually going to be any good. We don't know if his arrival will in actual fact reduce first team opportunity for a youth player. Indeed, all of which we don't know is open to assumption and conjecture. Both of which will be unique to us all and will be based on our opinions. To call McGhee a fud or be incensed in any way by our manager drafting in short term cover for a depleted midfield is in my opinion, bordering on the irrational.

The endorsements he has received at past clubs say two things to me. Firstly, there's clearly a need for a "marketing and fan engagement manager" otherwise he wouldn't have done it elsewhere or indeed been eligible for awards from others who have recognised the need for one. And secondly, he has won awards for what he has done in this or similar roles elsewhere. He is an acknowledged achiever. Given the situation we are in, I think he is a sound appointment. Our future lies in fan ownership yet we are seeing dwindling match attendance, sheer indifference towards the well society and widespread cynicism towards the perceived hierarchy of the club and correspondence coming from it. The bloke has a tremendous challenge ahead, and looking at where else he's been, it may just be his biggest yet. Good luck to him. Also, I did a quick google of marketing and sports fan engagement and this was the top return. It gives a bit more of an idea of what his job entails. http://events.q1productions.com/sports-fan-engagement/

It still angers me to this day that McLeish was given so much money to spend, especially given that one of the main reasons McLean left was lack of budget.
-
And Peter McCloy. Never saw him play in a 'Well jersey but do remember his final years at rangers. Yeh, I know, a career rangers man but was also a very good former 'Well goalie.
-
Aye, a quick google search tells me I'm a mile oot LOL
-
Going off the MacMillan line, is Derek 'ruby' Murray who played for us at left back during the late 80s Andy Murrays faither? I might well be a mile out, but I'm sure I'd read or heard on tv years ago something about his dad having been on our books.

If you don't mind me asking, what was your profession that would bring you in contact with these guys? And, who was filling hateleys pockets and why?
-
Tom Boyd only became a decent player when Davie Cooper arrived. Coop was able to exploit Boyds pace and was instrumental in transforming a guy that was (in my opinion at least) second in the youth development pecking order to Chris McCart to a quality overlapping fullback. The badge kissing thing was an err in judgment. I'm sure it was meant in jest but he made himself look a right cock. But then, that was largely consistent with Boyds behaviour the rest of the time too. He's just a bit of a cock.

Cillian Sheridan hardly set the heather alight. What about Nick Blackman, great for us, pish for wee turdy face Broon at Eberdeen
