  1. Thats unless tanner is carrying a slight injury. Hes been our best player recently so Id definitely want him playing but if losing him for this game means hes fine to play in the next lot then thats alright with me
  2. Nice to know you took that all as serious, surely the mere mention of Fisher scoring never mind a hat trick would give you some indication that the post was made in jest. Oh well, I suppose Ill have to make it even more obvious next time...
  3. Watch him score a hat trick now to make this game 3-2 and become an utter legend. Would piss United right off after taking the piss out of the Sanchez reveal with the Pete6 video and then sending Yeovil big Alex to knock them out the FA cup.
  4. Thats Fisher confirmed by Yeovil, joins on an 18 month deal and on a free transfer. Robinson also commented that he wants to replace him in this window which would mean we are actively looking for a left back and a forward.
  5. This isnt a game of FIFA and we dont have a shortage of central midfielders, Kipre stays at centre back
  6. Think as proper full backs go, in the academy we have Livingstone and Armstrong on the Left and now Watt and Bowers on the right, with guys like Ross McLean, Grimshaw, Cadden, Dunne, and Frear playing games or at least having minutes played as a wing back when playing the back 3/5, in the first team or under 20s. Many of these replacements arent ideal, but Im not sure how able we are to afford having a good quality full back for each side on the bench in case Tait etc gets injured. On the point about Jack leaving, its not like we have completely let him go for nothing, the club say theyve put a sizable sell on clause on the contract so well have some form of income should he be successful and achieve a move up, much like our dealing with Kilmarnock for Dom Thomas. Think thats the best we couldve hoped for for a young guy whos quite down the pecking order who was never really poor but I dont think he was great either. Wish him all the best though.
  7. Apart from the hairpiece and the tan of course. The tiny hands are, surprisingly, 100% real
  8. Its not that youre not allowed to post negatively, its just that youre posting shite. You can do as you wish, however if youre going to continue posting pish, Id expect memebers to call you out on it.
  9. What indication do you have that kids will give their all? When we threw kids like Dom Thomas and David Ferguson in the team last year did you really think we played well? After Jordan Jones waltzed by Ferguson the third time at home to Kilmarnock last season, he threw in the towel, gave up and Cadden had to do his job for him. Dom Thomas? Dont think the term give it his all, is in his playbook, he looked lazy and uninterested almost every time he was on the park. Think every player you mentioned apart from Fisher have contributed to our successes this season, including getting to a major cup final for the first time in six years, with many of the players you cited in their first season. Think thats relatively impressive for a bunch of mercenaries as you call them.
  10. Thats a fair point, so take Cadden out of the options for right back and Ill suggest another. Mind when Andy Rose first came to the club wed been told hed played multiple games, successfully, as a Right Wing Back. Not saying Id have him there, but if hes got experience in that role and we needed another option there, then it frees up a space for one of our other midfielders to come in as well
  11. Think Robinson is content with having Dunne, Plummer, Frear, Tait and Livingstone as his Left Back options, also got Armstrong in the academy too if were that desperate I suppose. As for Right Back Cover I thought wed be alright with Tait, Cadden, Grimshaw, Watt and McMillan all able to play there.
  12. Ripleys move to Burton didnt seem to turn out great, although Im not sure if he was brought in as a backup or whether he was meant to be a starter. However his season at Oldham he was brilliant, equalling Oldhams clean sheet record of 18 and making the League One team of the season. Think he was pretty decent with us, despite being prone to the odd mistake. If he can gain a consistency in his level of performance he could probably end up at a low to mid table championship club and make a pretty decent career of it.
  13. Sky Sports reporting that Ciftci flew to Tenerife before the squad in order to complete a loan deal while over there. Suppose we just have to wait and see. Alan Burrows on twitter stating we were close to signing one or two more soon, so Ciftci may well be the next one.
  14. Stevie Hammell now added to this thread, thats such a strange thing to type. Hes retiring at the end of the month to take on Scott Leitchs old job as Academy Director, wish him all the best.
  15. For the sake of adding to the list, Ben Hall and Lee Erwin would probably have still been part of the squad had they not decided to depart. Suppose Robbie Leitch could argue to be on that list too.
  16. The social media team posted the game had been postponed around 10am this morning, not the biggest warning but still not the worst.
  17. Would hope despite our situation where we have to allocate money to pay off debts etc, we would still have some money from a combination of Moult and Heneghan sales, Johnson sell on, cup run and TV money and anything Im forgetting for some reinvestment in the squad. Primary focus on getting a replacement for Moult, while hopefully also adding in defence and maybe a natural winger. Tall order on a tight budget, but we have just lost our only real match winner.
  18. Rumoured target Jordan Mghee joins Falkirk on a 1 year deal for an undisclosed fee
  19. Don't think he was called up for the squad, think he's still trying to get fit so don't think we'll see him for a few weeks
  20. Would hope we could put some of that Marvin money to good use. Wouldn't think Oxford would be willing to pay what we want for Cadden but I do hope he stays past this window at least.
  21. Played on the right side of midfield too. Seems like a good signing to me, was impressed by him when he was here and he offers cover in several positions. Think also the fact that he and his dad are members of the Well Society, goes some way into telling us how much he enjoyed his time here.
  22. Sky Sports now reporting we have rejected a bid of £250,000 for Heneghan from Blackburn. Claiming we want £500,000.
  23. Hartlepool Mail claiming Hartlepool are facing competition from Motherwell to sign 21 year old Hearts defender Jordan McGhee on loan
  24. Personally I'd think it'd be preferable to have McManus start over Heneghan. Whether fans like him or not, his experience and ability to coach the younger and more inexperienced players through games could be very important when he's partnered with Kipré and Dunne.
