Is Schalk likely to get a retrospective ban for his dive?

Priority should be getting a contract extention for McHugh. Would like to see Moore given a crack at the first team alongsode Bowman if Skippy and Moult go, but think he will only get offered a deal if we go down. See that Neil Alexander is leaving Aberdeen at the end of the season. Surely a better option than Samson? We're we not quite close to signing him before or did I just make that up?

Would have preferred giving him until the end of the season and take it from there but I am convinced he is a better option than than Valakari or Hughes.

Put a fiver on Stubbs this morning so deffo won't be him.

I'm in two minds about Coyle and Stubbs. Obviously staying in the top flight is the absolute priority. I've no idea if Coyle would get out out of the mess we are in but I think he would be the best candidate if we remain a premiership team next term. Stubbs or Peter Houston, on the other hand, I feel would be better choices if we were to be relegated. Both have managed at that level and would know the league inside out. Although the decision should be based on keeping us in the league. I wonder if the board will be thinking ahead to next season should the worse case scenario happen.

Just had a look at the odds. Coyle now seems to be 1/3 with Robinson and a host of others at 7/1. Think Stubbs is a good bet at 9/1.

Not sure how long either of their contracts are but if we can pay money for the likes of Bowman and Frear then surely we have something in the pot.

Think he started well but was sacked after a poor start to his 2nd or 3rd season. Just had a quick Google. Got them 3rd and 4th placed finishes and a Scottish cup win in his first 2 seasons. Although form soon fell apart after they started punting all their good players. He's done a pretty decent job at Falkirk since then and has playoff experience should we need it.

Can we add a poll to this thread? What do folk think of Peter Houston? Suggested him before McGhee came back and still think he ticks all the boxes.

Said before McGhee came back that I'd love to see Peter Houston take charge. Doubt we would get anyone currently employed until before the end of the season though.
