  1. Burrows is as much to blame for this as Robbo but he keeps getting an easy ride as he’s a fan and some of our fickle happy crappy support are mates with him and wouldn’t dare let the facts get in the way of their mate who gives them a response on twitter. The truth is robbo has signed a squad of duds and burrows has signed off on it and wasted precious money on absolute shite . It’s an old pals act though and they are sadly untouchable . Our tactics are from the stone age and the entertainment value is zero. How long canRobbo and flow hide behind two cup finals that we reached and then never turned up in. And the sooner people realise the spin doctor shite about our profit and turnover is down to two big transfer fees and has fuck all to do with Robbos ability as a manager or burrows as a chief executive . If any of the two of them were decent our bank balance would be much better than it is right now . We need shot of both of them now before we hit rock bottom . Worst motherwell team in my lifetime and it’s not even worth watching anymore . Will burrows sack him to save his own job !!!!!or maybe he can fall back to his photography role he’s qualified for .
  2. Burrows , the Board and indeed the well society have been very quiet this season in the media and seem to hope the Robinson problem will just go away . They are all to blame for the shambles that was our signing policy in the summer. They do however have a chance to redeem themselves by doing something about it. Sometimes it takes a bigger man to admit he was wrong ..... I just wonder how much money has been wasted this summer on wages of players who have made no difference.
  3. Anyone with any basic knowledge of football could see that after ten minutes rangers newco were ripping us down our left hand side and Tait had two men running at him constantly as no one was playing left midfield and main/bowman weren’t interested in tracking Taveneir. Robbo did nothing to counteract this and just hoped for the best . The reason for this is he doesn’t know what to do. The reason we have no one to play here is because Robbo never signed anyone to play here despite all his summer signings. For those suggesting people are on for a moan Are deluded . We are pish to watch and are the poorest Motherwell team in years. Results prove that . We have no match winners in our team And no guile or flair . St Mirren and Dundee results merely papered over the cracks and prolonged the pain of this man being in charge.
  4. Burrows won’t get rid of Robbo and will hang onto him until the bitter end - getting rid would show his failings by appointing him via the back door in the first place and then giving him a blank cheque to squander the small amount of money the club and ultimately the well society had on utter dross over the summer . The squad is unbalanced and poor without a goal scorer or wide players . Other than dunne our defence can’t run . Special mentions to Hartley and Aldred - love to talk a good game , talk themselves up as hard men and they go on the pitch and are slower than John Sutton and both are soft as shite. I still don’t think we will finish bottom and I accept we have no Devine right to be in the top 6 but I do expect as a supporter and a paying customer to watch professionals on the pitch and get entertained from time to time . That has happened this season and won’t under Robbo . He’s a dinosaur when it comes to set up and tactics with his long ball punt and the players he has bought have simply been bought to follow that ethos . Our support is small but loyal but it will dwindle if we need to put up with this guy for much longer .
  5. If McManus is in the running for any part of the 1st team managerial set up I would rather we stuck with Robbo . Mr Teflon shouldn’t be near it . It’s team unity we need not a big headed back stabbber I would give it to Lasley and allow him the choice of a right hand man which won’t be McManus but problem is Robbo has blown the budget on dross and we now have an over inflated squad of players with no room to bring anyone in . I do however believe we have enough in the squad to stay up if set up the correct way with someone putting square pegs in square holes.
  6. Didn’t go to killie last week but that performance today was a continuation of the 2nd half at Tynecastle in the cup. - same 352 that doesn’t work with the players we have. - hoofball - no guile or creativity - no leaders on the park - no attacking threat whatsoever - glaringly office that we are set up not to concede hence never committing players forward. - Tait wasted out of position - no youth - a team that’s actually worse to watch than last years despite all the new signings and an increased wage bill - players huffing and puffing on the pitch and starting to argue with each other more and more I do believe we have enough with what we’ve got to be safe come April next year but not with Robbo in charge . This is now his Oldham part 2. Time for him to go and someone to take over who can simply man manage and get guys like Tait Campbell Hartley and Cadden playing the way they are capable of playing. Whoever has overseen these deals and signings close season along with the increased playing budget also has to have a long hard look at themselves tonight . We’ve still got time to get out this mess but let’s hope the old pals act doesn’t stand in the way of what’s best for our club - over to you Mr Burrows et al. Hopefully for the good of the club that was Robbos last game today
  7. 2nd best again 2nite. No youth been given a chance and summer signings simply nowhere near good enough. Donnelly looks like a poor mans Kevin Christie . Full backs/wings backs clearly instructed not to get tight to their man and let crosses come into the box . 2nd best all night and got what we deserved. give Robbo time tho to sign more dross in another window and persist with long ball tactics and the rest of the team 40 yards behind the strikers - utter utter shite to follow
  8. Would be very surprised if the game goes ahead on Sunday . The pitch will be fine but would take some effort to get the surrounding areas , stands and walkways ready for Sunday . I would imagine a decision will be made as late as possible.
  9. Undoubtedly a great point today against a team on a great run but by fuck its not pleasant to watch. Saw more football played at my sons game this morning . Perfectly clear to see that we are going route one for the rest of the season and the game plan is to score from set pieces. The absence of tanner from the starting line up tells you what Robbos plans are and they dont involve playing football : If we keep it up for the rest of the season and steal points like today and manage to avoid a relegation dogfight he will be regarded a hero but its going to be a hard hard watch. Hearts dominated today down the left side of our team and there was a clear reason for this. I wonder if thats why we are signing a journeyman left midfielder next week !!!!!
  10. Give him the window and money to spend based on his previous signings then we will be in real shite. Give someone else the window to bring in some players and get a togetherness back in the squad
  11. 5 points out of 33 would see anyone sacked unless you are Burrows chum. Worse than our present record tho is the fact that people think we should give Robbo more money to bring in more new players to simply replace the dross he signed in the summer . Fisher , Dunne, Demi, Griffiths resigned, Demi, Bigi, Rose ( who up until Hearts game I thought had done ok) Plummer - all utter dross and how much money has been wasted on them . Robbos managerial record pre getting appointed with us was extremely poor and its heading that way again. No man management skills and thats now shinning bright with the players attitudes and performances who he ha singled out. A one trick pony who has run out of ideas . I know theres no chance he will go anywhere with our weak board who would need to admit they were wrong if they sack him but what will it take - one new striker isnt going to save this season from being another dog fight
  12. Just back in from Ibrox - as I expected utter utter dross to watch with no creativity in the team and Tanner our only slight chance of creating something. We could have played until next year and not score . It would appear that the only true leader in our team is a player on loan which says it all. It can be glossed up anyway people want under the Robbo appreciation society but 5 points from 30 with a team devoid of creativity and spark and being sent out week after week to be cautious and simply have a target of stopping the opposition playing isnt good enough . I at least expect us to be challenging for top 6 and at least attack teams and be positive - that has completely disappeared from our way of playing . Robbo has signed or reigned a lot of mediocre shite and its all too evident to see . His plan A isnt working and he doesnt have a plan B. Results ultimately will determine how long he will continue in his role but if performances dont improve along with his approach to the way he sets the team up how long can he be untouchable for . 5 points from 30 would have seen McGhee and co hounded out but I suppose when youre in with the bricks its a different story. Cue the we got to a cup final and have injuries excuses to defend him. Selling Moult could be the difference between us fighting for top 6 or fighting relegation.
  13. Manager to blame for this with the wrong line up and wrong tactics just like Tynecastle on Saturday. Even with the injuries we have we still should have more than enough to beat the poorest thistle team I have seen in years . Players didnt seem up for the fight tonight and were bullied . 2nd half better but too little to late . Manager has rightly taken the plaudits to date this season but he needs to have a long hard look at himself as Parkhead, Tynecastle and tonight he picked the wrong team. Tanner was our only player on Saturday yet he doesnt pick him tonight / he more than proved a point when he came on tonight. Tait and Dunne appear undropable. Everybody happy to make Mchugh and Rose the fall guys of late yet Tait escapes criticism on a weekly basis despite playing hoof ball with no intention of passing the ball on the deck to the player playing in front of him. Next two games are now massive - lets hope our manager has a plan B !!!!
  14. circa 7k tickets sold - decent against our average home support but in some ways a bit disappointing
  15. It's a long way around him to avoid him especially in that Matalan suit. Don't see many other 'chief executives' badgering their players on the park at the end of a game at any level
  16. Thought we played well today and were unlucky not to get at least a point. They refs decisions in general were baffling at times. I think Louis moult is a cracking player but some people need to take the rose tinted specs off - he was generally ineffective today , gave away needless fouls, missed a sitter by trying to score a Charlie big time finish rather than just put the ball in the net, yet Bowman and Fisher get the criticism. If we play like that every week we will win more than we lose. Was impressed with Kipre and Tanner and thought Rose came into the game as it went on . Cadden, Tait and Heneghan all played well. Dunne is a bomb-scare can't cross, can't pass and even managed a Zac Jules moment .
  17. Robinson has won one game since his kid on official appointment . There's no hiding that's relegation form. He has inherited a poor squad but hasn't helped himself with poor tactics, starting line ups and a team that based on today's performance isn't busting a gut for him . McManus in the dug out today beside him stinks further of jobs for the boys or maybe he was just returning the favour to his big mate for getting him back to Fir Park. The thought of him in charge next season in either league gives me the fear. The completely wrong appointment for so many reasons - thanks Mr Burrows and the board
  18. Poor line up again today with the manager insisting with square pegs in round holes. I thought McHugh and Campbell were decent and tried hard and Lasley and Hammell at least tried hard but both are done. The least said about the rest the better , even Moults level dropped today to mediocre and he looked unfit . The lack of fight passion and togetherness was alarming but not unexpected . Bringing on clay in front of Faddy In those circumstances just beggars belief. Must beat Accies next week or it's the play offs at very best
  19. Go watch some re runs of his games for us and watch him closely - as sleekit on the pitch as you get. Fails on occasion after occasion to cover in behind the other centre half who is challenging for the ball. More individual errors than Samson. Only interested in making himself look good . It's sunny today so you better keep the rose tinted specs on
  20. McHugh is a better centre half than McManus and he's a midfielder - that says it all. McManus plays the game for himself and not the team and it shows
  21. I never wanted him appointed in the first place as his record of signings was shite, his historic tactics were negative and his record was at best poor. He was appointed to keep us up and so far it's not working and doesn't look like working . Campbell and Lasley would be my centre mid pairing all day long - experience and dig with Lasley and youth desire and fitness with Campbell makes a good combination. Both have a will to win which is lacking with some others who start every week. You must be easy pleased if your content with what you've seen from Robinson so far!!
  22. That's 5 points from a possible 18 and whilst we have stopped shipping as many goals it's all very defensive and unsuccessful uninspiring route one dross. A play off place may be the best we can hope for and that's a big ask. I can't believe just how bad the starting line ups have been of late and crying out for a bit of creativity - surely a Faddy or a Thomas ( I know he's out on loan) would be a better bet as a number 10 than Gordon or Blyth. Craig Clay must look like Ronaldo in training all week to still get a Start every week. Looks like Burrows and co have made a mess of the managerial appointment and let the old pals act shine bright. It can be glossed up any way the happy clappers want be we haven't improved under Robinson and our league position is now worse.
  23. So what attributes has Robinson got to keep us up? - 3 points in every 12 certainly won't - his experience at Oldham And if we go down what's his and the boards plan B? Is he really the best that was out there or was he the cheap option based on the money the board has pissed away elsewhere . My opinion on Robinson didn't start because of defeat today it started the day his chum burrows brought him back to the club. If your referring to the person I think you are that had the 800 million budget then tell me what the overspend and deficit was on that budget - please do. People on hear need to take off the claret and Amber tinted specs. We have no right to be clear of relegation every year we need to earn that right but we will struggle with those at the helm . We are in the shit and it's been coming since we signed the dross we did in the summer . I'm away to tell Myself that everything's going to be all right and guys like Craig Clay and Craig Samson will keep us up while Burrows will be sitting tonight working on the master plan to make it all better via his Scotvec module in Home Economics
  24. That's 3 points from 9 for Robinson so far and very likely to be 3 from 12 after our visit to Castle Greyskull . We lose to hamilton and suddenly 3 points from 15 has him under serious pressure and the club in serious danger. On the bright side you could turn to his previous managerial record for hope but unfortunately that's on a par with some of the worst in the business. So we go down and we look for him to play youth - he won't even pick Campbell in front of passenger clay. You could then look to his previous signings and as someone else pointed out he signed Josh Law!!! That about summed up the shambles and uninspiring appointment the club made this week but nothing surprises me with the amateur set up we have - imagine the interview view panel of a photographer , a guy that used to be on the board and a guy that appeared on the well society board out of the blue and without election from its members. The club and its board appear out their depth and going down will put us firmly in the shit for years to come. Far too much money is being wasted by the club both in the playing squad, signings policy and support staff. I truly hope I am wrong, Robinson proves me wrong and he manages to keep us up but one thing is for sure the set up behind the scenes is a shambles.
  25. I will put money on McManus being appointed assistant manager in the summer at the latest and the Burrows Plan he came up with behind McGhees back will be complete. Stinks of old pals act and jobs for the boys - how can the club and society move forward with underhand appointments like this. I can't believe Robinson was the best candidate for the club out of 50 applicants but then again I can't believe a media apprentice is in the position he's in running a football club. I sincerely hope I am proved wrong but got the feeling we will be watching negative route one football this year and beyond which will ruin guys like Moult and Cadden
