Tremendous effort by our support yesterday and in the days leading up to the final, couldn't have done any more! Watched the full game back this morning and other than Campbell, the midfield (Mchugh, grimmy, Tait and cadden) were outclassed. Had some interceptions first 10mins, but no decent final ball to make an impact. 10mins in, Aldred heads clear and Mcgregor was aggressive to beat Campbell (only blemish on him) and Grimshaw to the ball and finishes spectacularly. Got their crowd in it. A foul unfairly called on Alfred for the lead up to their second... Rogic ran into him as play continued then pulled back! (Was typical of many decisions in the game and encouraged celtic to play act. Noticed brown actually telling his players to get up / shut up on quite a few occasions and that's saying something!) Grimshaw ball watchin Ntcham, who probably misses that 9 out of 10 times. Cest la vie. Bowman gave a great backheel to play in main who blazed over with 3 defenders closing in. In replay a pass back to bowman would have been better. Main chance immediately in second would have gave us hope. Unlucky. Bigi was effective when he came on, Frear wasn't. With other refs Aldred could have been penalised for a tug on dembele inside box after a dual, thankfully penalty not given. Cadden headed effort cancelled out by Dembele header. Bigi free kick could have again gave us hope, but not to be. No complaints about result considering the huge gulfs. Celtic probably spared us not sticking on Griffiths and Roberts as Forrest and Dembele or Rogic could have been subbed to change things for them. They had a comfy lead all the same. Credit our back 3, I thought they were brilliant and not at fault with goals. Was imagining we had Boyata and Ajer for any of our trio and I doubt we would have held as good as we did. Kipre has just completed his first season, has got international recognition, cult status and a good wage. I'm sure he knows the benefits of continuing development and we give home best platform for that. The time to move is at least next year.

Absolute nonsense if you are suggesting the above players would be 'careul' selections by comparison to Saturday picks Ciftci and Elliott Frear; who were considered starters at a point this season by Robinson until they got injured! The problem with Thomson is there can be no consequences if he has another shocker, so he could get away with a biased performance. I'm sure the club will take all measures to avoid that chump getting the final.

A total shocker today, and best forgotten. Many players should be embarrassed. Still, I would rather be humbled today than next week or in the cup final, so just need to suck it up and move on. Refereeing is a total joke in this country (and probably many more too). There's a lot technology can do to improve things and bring some fairness. Off the balls for instance, which are not impacting on play, could be dealt with separate officials who would have the benefit of replays to inform decisions moments later. Some small sacrifices needed i. e. slows the game, but would rather have that if it meant getting decisions correct giving fans less reason to feel cheated.

Tait was awful throughout, caught sleeping at the second goal, couldn't find a pass, really bad tonight! It's a shame that it was a game too many to get starts for Ciftci and Cadden or this could have had been a very different game. I thought Hibs were ordinary and Tait was their man of the match! Hibs first was unstoppable but they did have a player offside in front of Carson...maybe I'm being petty. Too slow to change it tonight as the back 3 had nothing to do. Rose Grimshaw and McHugh all on at same time really limits us and resulted in Campbell having to chase everything as well as supporting attacks from midfield alone. Main and Aldred continue to look like very good captures.
