Heard we are closer than ever to signing Marco de Barros

Very disappointed with a point. We were just starting to turn the heat up, then half time came. Probably good positioning from Jamie McDonald, but we needed 1 of the 2 chances before the break to go in. Im my opinion, we made the wrong change when McLean got injured; why not get Dom on at that point to keep what was working going? The spell with trio of Lasley, Clay and Lucas was dreadful. The double substitution sorted this, but think by that point killie had got comfy with anything we could do. The boys at back put in a great shift; closed any killie threats immediately, no mistakes, and deserve the clean sheet.

Any chance of another video of a bike ride to the Falkirk wheel...the most entertainment I've had from the squad this season. Was baraclough not punted after a run like this? While there are no doubt some honest and hard working people at MFC, the sentimental decision making, job for the boys, and poor scouting system need to be questioned. Shame for the young lads coming thru the core squad are hopeless and dragging them down!

Don't confuse 'dislike' with 'dont rate' In his limited gametime I think he is a just a big lump and not good enough for this level. My opinion.

Two speedsters come to mind; Stefan Lindqvist and Rob Newman. Short spell each, but both done the job required.

Wonder how many virgins Belic has been promised? We continue to agree deals to develop loan players with little gain, and our own contracted guys are pushed further out on the fringe (Moore, Blyth,Thomas). The writing is on the wall for these guys.

What a lacklustre and pathetic team we look. Took 25 mins for the central midfield to make a single forward pass on the deck, and i don't remember many more after that. Back 4 constantly punting to miss the middle out says it all. Punts were totally ineffective as our front guys cant win headers, and there were few balls in the channels or in behind St Johnstone for them to do anything productive. Short of some counter attacks (with Marvin looking good at these points), there was nothing to be excited about. Every defensive header from Mcmanus and Ben was picked up by St Johnstone. Already said Law would easily oust 4 from the team today, and any of last year's fringe strikers look more mobile and competent than Blyth. Goalkeeper needs to communicate better and do more than flap like a circus seal. If Marvin goes before transfer window it's going to be a difficult season. McDonald looking sluggish, don't know if he is playing with injury or the late entry to preseason,but really need the guy from latter part of last season to be turning up for us to have a chance.

Only fair if players and the boss hand back their wages to reimburse fans who travelled. Total embarrassing. Tommy McLean would never stomach that performance twice. Wee Dougie was relentless in attacking the old firm on their patch. Current lot are a disgrace to our colours. Need some guts and belief in Glasgow, and McGhee took both away before game started and the players just capitulated once the whistle blew.

Not exactly a proud moment for the fan or club, why try to resurrect the footage? I sat a few seats away from the guy in the Cooper for 2 yrs, and while I can't say what he was like outside the ground, he was an ordinary die-hard fan inside the ground, and never bothered anyone. Leighton's time wasting and antics had angered everyone in the Cooper for 45mins. He was on the way out and just lost control when Leighton was taking the piss with a bye-kick. I'm sure he wishes he had just continued on out and I'm sure he has much regret.

I take your point as I've not seen anything official. Worth mentioning that Ainsworth has been subject constant speculation on the boards for leaving (for the past 2 years) and again never heard an official peep about the club trying to move him on either.

Disgrace!The lad done the business last year, has bulked up and surely deserved a shot? Considering Moult is injured, Blyth and Mackin are big lumps and McDonald is more the catalyst/provider than an out and out goalscorer, Moore could have been given a fairer chance. Unless we have an alternative option in mind, I'm struggling to see a lot of goals in this team in the first month or so and with recent years defensive stats...oh boy.

Harkins role would be something between McDonald and McFadden (if he gets a deal), so IMO no room at the inn.

Guessing if we get a good fee, surely the manager would be allowed to reinvest in the next Marvin as our own talent pool are still a bit down the line before we get a saleable mfc-grown player. Also while £1.6 was scoffed by a couple (let's not debate too hard with all the trolls), theres about £300k difference between top 6 and bottom 6 in prize money, with bottom 6 likely to get fewer games against the 'big teams' (150k quoted by thistle for 2 less gates with celtic/rangers?) - so selling a key player has to be for the right price in my opinion.
