We definitely got the rub of the green today; a better team would have out 10 past us! Need to see the highlights but thought there were 2 valid penalty claims for killie in first half, and their deflected shot first half was a goal in every other game. McDonald up front alone is suicide. He is better behind the front man making play; he is not a lethal poacher. Same story for the past 2yrs: cant keep the ball out the net; cant score or score enough to offset those conceded; cant control the midfield; lose more of the individual battles all over the pitch; players not adaptable; no leadership; tactically naive and delusional management.

Why on earth do we open stupid polls for man of the match when there was absolutely no positives? The same with the #matchattax at 80mins of the game.

At least there's no messing about with a midweek trip to Inverness (not sure who would have been confident in that) and the team can concentrate on the elephants mess were are in in the league. From the media suggestions there were words in the dressing room directed at Ainsworth. Just hope many of them have since watched the video (Pearson, McManus, Kennedy, Law etc) as there was a catalogue of errors in the build up to their goal. Win and lose as a team.

Ainsworth is a weapon, and in my opinion, not getting deployed at the right time.Im sure the Morton-tiff with Robinson is part to blame. Ross County have took 7 of 9 points from us; get the measure? Our TEAM is below average. A few nicely timed results (December) does not make up for the season long struggles: lack of goals; unable to hold/boss the midfield; and, cant keep clean sheets. Clear more of the dead wood, try harder to grind out results (Utd, Accies, Killie, Thistle all worse) and build up (not put down) our players who will be next year and accept that there will be more mistakes and defeats on the way. Hammell has had one too many injuries, need to support Chalmers until there is a better option. Does McGhee actually have any contacts for brining in players? Talks a good game without producing; at least Gannon and Baraclough took a punt.

Was Ainsworth not the senior after the Morton game that had a ding-dong with the assistant manager? Maybe the reason why he seems to be shunned of late. His goalscoring for us has been tremendous, and theres always excitement when he gets the ball in the final third. He can still play a huge role for us.
