  1. We could replace them with Cornelius and Maguire , who knows it might work
  2. I know u like to be a contrary sort, but u must see the two of them are good technical footballers , whether they are physical enough for spfl is another matter and being physical is mega important in this league
  3. I get what you're saying, he isn't a great athlete tbf, maybe why he hasn't gone further...goals from the middle of park would be good too. If vv is squaring up to players too, he needs someone to put him in his place, that puts some guys into their shell, he's really not in a position to be criticising , 1 good game in 6
  4. We need a formation to get the best out of the better players , Slattery, Goss...someone with some dig cos they aren't physical enough.Spiittal hasn't done enough so far for me , but are we playing him in right position?
  5. I think, moving forward, it would be good to get a more comprehensive update on injuries ...all this guessing re moult, Aarons, effird...if we knew what the problems were and likely period out, it might make fans a bit more empathetic and give them something to aim towards
  6. I think you are looking for him to work the keeper a bit, goalie threw his cap on that one , really lame
  7. That's one thing I'd say , I thought they were bang average and we were the better team ....but that's a few games where we have chucked away a point at least ..st Johnstone, Killie, hearts and today....Ive never been totally convinced by kvv, there's a lot of balls going into box , he's never first to it
  8. Never said it wasn't a great performance, just it was a very poor rangers team.
  9. Don't really think that was a factor, that was a very poor rangers team
  10. Don't agree Celtic have been scudded in Europe, watched both of their home games and they weren't far away , missing a goalscorer, for sure. Pointless really reviewing any perceived wrong refereeing decision , we were well and truly horsed Re taps in too, if you've got fit, hungry players who want to get into box, chances are the ball is going to fall to them Anyway , Saturday will be more of a measure of where we really are ....are we the team who took 5 off RC or horsed by Celtic?
  11. I've not been counting his shots and crosses , but if he's made a career out of professional football, plus the clips I saw when he signed , I don't think he's shite. Your constant negativity is though, but it's what you're good at , so don't stop
  12. Totally agree but there are some on here who thrive on the doomsday scenario, any manager knows more about tactics and players than all of us posters put together. We knew October was going to be a toughie but that's not going to stop the usual suspects, some of them are surely old enough to have seen it all before. Josh Morris has got ability, but he's not going to get a chance because of who signed him ..he lacks pace , so that's a problem too
  13. First time I've seen the first goal close up, Tierney lack of physique showed there , even leaning into Malik might have been enough, but suppose he's a work in progress?
  14. Had forgotten about this till I saw an article on FB, but can the knob or knobs that keep chucking stuff onto park , pack it in, just costing the club money ...footballers like the rest of us don't deserve to be assaulted at work
  15. Ok maybe time to give Cornelius a run but I've not seen a lot so far that says he should be a starter. Hammell seems to feel the same at the moment.
  16. I don't see what Cornelius has done , becoming a better player by not playing
  17. Yep, Hibs are very average , as this week has shown, the good teams in Scotland are poor in European terms
  18. That's not first half I watched, we passed it well at times, RC played it kong
  19. Yep, my thoughts too, just reading them the morning after. I thought we played quite well in first half, some nice stuff at times, RC a lot more direct. You get the usual posts tho, e.g " brutal" , " we re not in it" , games are seldom won in first half. Might be doing well to hang on to guys like Slattery , anyway well played lads
  20. I agree, I thought we weren't great and scoreline flattered us Goss has shown he is a good footballer but he needs help in there, re Cornelius, running about a lot isn't enough at Parkhead, maybe he will develop more,I hope so .Maguire is very limited also
  21. Just vague mentions that it's a family situation. Thanks, as you say a bit vague but hope all ok with the boy and his family
