  1. the lack of critical thinking is worrying...they shouldve kept stadium open and spaced out or called games off. This will lead to more house parties and more risk as inside. Sorry, its tedious now, if you're fully vaccinated, get on with it.
  2. slattery cant win with that one , if he doesnt challenge, he'll be criticised , he just tries to be strong and use his body...I dont think it's a foul. Its Celtic Park tho and you dont get the big calls.
  3. but it wasnt odonnel , he did better today , but the recent criticism was justified
  4. afraid we cant use hard luck story when we dont defend basic crosses...very basic goal
  5. guess what , sometimes we lose when hes no playing. he should be back for tuesday but he was out of the team for being poor, now he has chance to get back in on merit hopefully there's a left back somewhere to replace mcginley too
  6. goss did more with two touches last week than mcguire and grimshaw did today with feck knows how many touches. As ever you like being contrary
  7. play like last week, we will be top 4, play like today, relegated...its up to manager to level it out...he was an international full back, surely he sees inadequacies in that position. McGuire and grimmy dont work in same midfield, going forward , we cant keep repeating these mistakes.
  8. just seen 1st goal, somebody tell McGuire you're allowed to tackle .
  9. doubt that...costs Motherwell too many goals by switching off is my issue , last weeks sending off was stupid, when we were already under the cosh.
  10. so why does he get " lambasted " by some scotland and Motherwell I dont think theres a vendetta against him. you're right , him and Mugabe are different players , I would say Mugabe is more effective at RB,he doesnt overlap the same but sods crossing is poor when he gets forward so whsts the point .
  11. well his strengths were there for all to see on Sunday , that wasnt an isolated case either if players are picked on merit for scotland , they're watching different players to me.
  12. I know Clarke picks guys he thinks he can trust, but it doesnt send out a good message...tony watt looks a level above, odonnel shouldn't be in our starting 11...I dont know who else is in right back contention apart from Paterson but they must be scratching their head.
  13. I dont know that the fans are any more apathetic than they ever were. I think you get to a certain age and now with the money differences , especially down south, you realise theres only a certain level we are ever going to compete at. With all that , you can more or less see how things will pan out , it is to a degree relying on the blind loyalty of most fans
  14. if we continue like this, it could go that way, robbo seemed more tactically astute imo
  15. he didn't really miss an open goal, he was under pressure and got to it , cant really blame him, agree with your second paragraph ....watt is one of the few good footballers in the team
  16. why did ga pat him on head on way off? his first booking was because his touch is so bad, his second was just lazy, other players look at him and say that's the captain and hes played for scotland ffs...reserve right back must be scratching his head.
  17. for an international player, his defending us bang average
  18. odonnel shouldve won initial header before move started.both full backs let us down weekly and dont get forward either
  19. odonnel shouldve won initial header before move started.both full backs let us down weekly and dont get forward either
  20. as long as every pen in the spfl is examined as forensically, going to be a helluva retakes
  21. I saw mcginley giving linesman stick at first goal...I dont know if it was offside or not was linesman trying to be an arse with us because that was a incredibly petty call to retake especially when a very soft call in first place
  22. Would it though? As someone else stated , do the officials know the rules? Including last night and ibrox offside goal, these aren't close calls,so it must be they don't understand the rules. We could theoretically be 4 points better off. Just for balance, our pen on Saturday was dubious too. I agree with other posters though, we aren't good to watch
  23. Thought he looked better in second half, got pace for sure, needed to be more involved. Obviously taking time to adjust to step up.
  24. watching highlights theres a pen in first half we never got, i really dont think theres is a pen, hes run into well player and hoped for contact.
  25. just watched the highlights, that's not the case, foot was on the line, wasnt a pen in first place...we aren't great, we dont need smartarse linesman doing us over
