  1. Fair dues but if there was a simple solution, like grow your own, the club would have and are trying it ...but it's obviously not as simple as it sounds .For every Lennon Miller etc, there'll be god knows how many who don't make it or go elsewhere.
  2. Probably another topic on its own but if football could implement a rule where you need a certain amount, e.g 4 home grown players in each team, would stop the man city's etc buying everyone and anyone. Hopefully this is the start of something down south with clubs being docked points. Feel a bit for Everton , who don't strike me as massive spenders I've gone completely off topic but there you go
  3. Great point but the usual suspects will blame the board , mgr etc
  4. I am just measured in my support and criticism, if required...it's not easy playing, managing or supporting Motherwell...seems to be a chore to you tho Anyway what is FHW? Regards
  5. I don't agree and why have you started talking like oor Wullie?
  6. Only the 30? You've not seen bad teams
  7. I'm looking forward to seeing who we get in and the game on Saturday... ketts seems a positive guy who doesn't do social media..you should try both
  8. Don't know if we can say club has been caught out here. If Arsenal can recall him, then that's their right. The club found him and I am sure they're actively on it for replacements, definitely had a lot of bad luck with injuries, bad luck doesn't last forever.
  9. On that basis , we wouldn't have signed Pele because of the Santos strip ,
  10. But if you consistently predict defeats , relegation, administration, it is going to be about you....you are either very shrewd or just talk bollocks, I've got my own view
  11. But would you know how to use a chamois correctly to avoid getting windows all streaky?
  12. You don't half haver man, that's not evidence , just your opinion and we have seen your score/ result predictions, so you don't have a great track record but you don't get embarrassed easily, I'll give you that
  13. Only a matter of time, he's played for most of them
  14. Honestly Wasn't having a pop at yourself bud, more of a general comment, there was a lot of comment around the guy before he had kicked a ball, If olly Shaw can earn a living as a pro footballer, bair is much more effective imo Similar theme but different, just watched the guy Oakley ( Morton) and his hat trick v Dundee utd, he looks useful...again it could be a one off or a three off if you like
  15. I think where to be when ball comes in box etc can be taught, the guy has pace and strength, not things that can be taught, tbh, that was obvious from the off...think it's a bit churlish now to not acknowledge he has something about him especially after the pelters he took before kicking a ball
  16. Sure, point taken, depends on how you define " current trajectory" tho...anyways onwards and upwards
  17. If the " current trajectory" continues, we will be in Europe, 4 points from last 6, we can't afford to have another ex manager on the payroll, if you've heard DW interview , he makes that clear.... paying off managers is x number of players we can't afford
  18. Yep more updates would be great, maybe been otherwise occupied tho The sections of the support you mention probably won't listen to it...easier just to fire off a one liner criticising something or other
  19. His shooting wasn't too bad v Aberdeen at Hampden
  20. Fair dues but having seen both of them play , I'd have Main first all day You're presuming also Wilko was punted , he may have wanted a move away.
  21. No worries, suppose I meant relative to old firm , even their managers have a shelf life....I was a Robbo fan, ultimately it was his choice to leave .
  22. He's been advised fitbas better in Morecambe.
  23. We had already talked him out if walking a few weeks beforehand and then a few weeks later he chose to go We have a shelf life as a club as do most smaller clubs Robbo and McInnes etc will probably be under pressure next year, if not before,it's just the way it goes
