  1. Gordon for me. Besides the goal thought he defended well under a fair amount pressure, especially in the second half. Watt and Ap Stam put in good shifts and Maswanhise looked threat when he came on. The two cynical Kilmarnock sacks of shit that got booked for wiping him out thought so as well.
  2. Wasn't the best from us tonight and can't really complain with a point given how the game went. From the Cooper it looked like Casey just shoved Armstrong, not happy with the tackle. At first I thought the referee had flashed the red at Armstrong. For him to stick with it when VAR had highlighted he had made a Bertie Blunt of it was mental.
  3. Has to be Ap Stam. 2 goals, an assist and could have had a hat-trick. Good movement and thought he was clever against their defenders despite them having physical advantage. Thought Miller had a mostly solid game and Sparrow always seems to make some kind of impact, great finish from him.
  4. Great 3 points and a swapping places with Utd was nice. A win on Friday before back to back games against the Old Squirm would be tremendous. Scored some good goals and being clinical in converting chances probably won us the game along with some good/great saves xnc a wee bit of luck. Only negatives were losing a couple of cheap goals and my Donner Pie was a bit overdone. Some good performances and I think the substitutions were made at the right time. Particularly Paton and Halliday, who I thought both done well but were probably tiring.
  5. 🤣Oofft! Better watch what I 'm doing then on the next one. That would be a disaster.
  6. Went for Watt but close to a no vote for me.
  7. Just trying to find some positives on a day it was difficult to spot any. You don't think they made us slightly better?
  8. Must be the worst most people would have seen this season with just about everything that makes a poor performance. Bad goalkeeping error, poor defending, horrendous distribution, no movement or creativity. Only positives were thought Watt and Paton made us slightly better, nobody sent off and didn't appear to pick up any injuries.
  9. I suppose he did a bit and he is just back from a spell injured so hopefully another option in midfield going forward.
  10. Went for Kaleta. Looks to be getting much stronger with games. Did great for his assist, always an option going forward and defended well. Seddon and Casey also done well at the back while Maswanhise and Sparrow impressed before tiring.
  11. Great to get a win before the international break. Good first half after a slow start and a couple of well worked and well taken goals. Flat second half and again subs didn't make much of an impact. Have to hope we can make changes that make a difference when the injury situation improves. Thought we defended pretty well for the majority of the game.
  12. Ox for me. Kaleta also impressed.
  13. Didn't offer much going forward at all although the first half was slightly better. Can't fault Ap Stam and Maswanhise for work rate though. Thought we were too cautious throughout. Miller didn't have the impact we hoped and Balmer made some crazy decisions with his distribution. Subs had very little impact. Feel as if we have the weakest midfield in almost every game we play and that includes the games we have won. Have to hope we somehow find the right combination. On the positive side thought Ox had a good game and Kaleta done well before he had t go off.
  14. Ap Stam for just pure effort with no reward. Miller and Kaleta were the pick of the rest for me.
  15. Needed everybody playing well, them not and a bit of luck but got none of that. Pretty decent start to the game would have been interesting to see how things would have gone with even one of Miller's attempts in the first 10 minutes going in. Gordon's tackle at the end looked from the Cooper just a standard late challenge booking but Sportsound saying it was a bad one. Could really bite us if it was, not seen it back.
  16. Miller but not much competition today.
  17. Very flat performance today. Reminded me of early season games at home. Patrick in league cup group and Ross County first league game. Too slow on the ball and movement not good enough. Dundee not much better but got the better of us when defending our set pieces, which have got us most of our goals up to now.
  18. Tanser's second yellow maybe a bit soft but feels like a bit of poetic justice for same fixture at Fir Park just over a year ago, when he scored the only goal. We absolutely dominated them and still somehow lost. Despite maybe getting away with one for Miller's second, I actually thought we shaded it. Defended fairly comfortably and thought we had the better chances in the second half.
  19. Difficult choice between Miller and Ox. Miller could have had a hat-trick, but Ox's saves swung it. Thought his first half save from the Phillips (I think) header was even better than the penalty.
  20. Ox definitely seems to inspire a bit of confidence at the back and incredible save with his leg a 1-0. Chuffed for Robinson to finally get a goal the shift he puts in deserves. Didn't appreciate from the Cooper what a tight angle it was until watching the highlights back this morning. Thought Kaleta done pretty well when he came on, comforting if it turns out SOD will be missing for a spell. Best atmosphere for a long time, hope it encourages a bit more in going forward.
  21. Really difficult one last night. Voted Casey but could easily went for Miller, Robinson, Ox or McGinn.
  22. Went for SOD. Read somewhere about him working hard on his fitness in his own time during the summer, think it shows so far this season. Ewan Wilson seems to be improving with every game and desperate for Robinson to get a goal, thought he put a great shift in today. No failures, best performance in a long time.
  23. Gent. Good going forward, great delivery and defended well when he needed to. Would be great to have him next season but don't know how realistic that is.
  24. Went for Kelly. Thought he did well in general in difficult conditions and two really good saves in particular. Gent and Blaney also had good games
  25. It's a sore one but we have all been here before. As soon as things look like improving, a result and performance like tonight happens. We were sucked in to playing the game Morton wanted and very rarely moved away from that. A Morton team that included 2 ex 'Well players that, no harm to them, proved to be not good enough for us. I doubt if any of them are, even Oakley albeit he played well tonight. Obviously there are questions to be asked of some who are wearing claret and amber. We were poor but let's make sure we stay up and take at look at things at the end of the season.
