Never rated James scott in his first spell. Thought we were very lucky to get money for him at the time as I did hastie out of that group Cambell and turnbull were always head a shoulders above them when watching them play

Would love that but a defensive mid is prob our main focus at the moment. Right side Centre half, winger and centre forward musts /min requirements for me

I did think of him the other day and wondered if it was worth asking the question would be far more excited seeing him come back than I was moult worked with hammell like Mckinstry so would be a link there

Needs massively backed and supported in this window. Needed 6-8 players in the summer . We used up 3 of those bringing in a keeper when he wasn’t needed, a right back that wasn’t needed when we had sod and max Johnstone and on Blair spit all so now is the time to back the right horse and give the manager a min of 6 to turn things around to the end of the summer when he can properly reset and implement a plan for the future need to clear out the mass number of bad decisions that were made in the last 2 years first

this would be my choice in line up. formation favours our stronger/better players and shields for me has had plenty chances to be a foil to Van veen

Not a fan. Don’t see what he offers. Turns back on himself far too much for me and barely know he’s playing anytime I have seen him always felt we desperately need a new centre half and today confirmed it for me

to be fair that was his reaction as well. apparently his wife has never been keen for him to sign for either of the old firm so i would imagine its a non starter, but he seemed pretty sure that we wouldnt get him in the end.

Sat at a wedding tonight next to a good mate of snoddy's. said we offered something but so have fleetwood and believe it or not rangers. so think its looking increasingly unlikely we will be getting him. basically said he has a few offers so unlikely he will join us now

Yep announced today. Now need to get right behind him and support the massive rebuild he has on his hands

We need someone who can quickly identify the players that are way off the pace and shouldn’t be near that squad we need someone to create a new style of play that is actually enjoyable to watch We need someone who knows what’s available in the youth to bring through (which is going to be MASSIVE over the next few seasons) we need someone who can bring players in quickly with what’s left of the window and players that are cheap passion and a genuine love and concern for the club would be a bonus So my preference remains for hammell despite todays result . Can’t judge someone on one game otherwise we would have given him it last Sunday

Couldn’t agree more huge change in the way we play after only one week. Regardless of who gets the job he has a massive task in identifying the players we and hammell already know shouldn’t be anywhere near that squad and quickly somehow move them on to get players in on the cheap that are better a huge task to overhaul what’s been left which is no overnight job

Anyone know which company I can complain to about the stream? I have seen the grand total of 1 game so far this season as a result of a shite service

I suspect no fee will be involved and the gentleman’s agreement you refer to will indeed be in place to let him move on

Really pleasing result and performance From what I saw tonight it looks like we have goals to come from all over the park, with hopefully turnbull to add to the mix as well ideally if nothing more than for a few months of games Encouraged by the new guys performances, Gallagher looks solid at the back and as others have said looks confortable playing out from the back. Hilton and seedorf have pace and a trick in them, like an upgraded version of ainsworth/humphrys and I’d go as far as saying ariybi (as much as I like him). Reckon there is a lot more to come from them once they are up to speed. Great to see Scott get a couple of games, would love him to lead the line, think he has a little bit of development still to go, but so long as he chips in with goals like tonight , il be happy. Pass marks to polworth and Carroll too had to leave early for a work emergency so disappointed I didn’t get to see illic, but sounds like he’s a find as well Only type of player id be holding out for now before end of the window is a Lafferty type of signing if we can get someone of that ilk within budget

My understanding is he signed for a year, no doubt read all the negative posts about him on here and on well Bois 11 then decided it wasn’t for him

Craggs rumours being alleged on here are absolute nonsense and if they don’t get nipped now then you are seriously discrediting someone’s character. He hasn’t been barred from the club and the accusations/suggestions on here are wide of the mark Back on topic , potentially a couple of players from last season could be set to stay/return . Maybe down to the fact Robinson has stated he can’t get a few of his targets in wide areas and up top over the line recently

Was going with Campbell/sloth and polworth. However you have grimmy/Donnelly as cover in there as well. As well as Semple and Cornelius who have played in there towards the end of last season Not flush with options but enough in there. Midfield to front is where we need strengthened in my opinion Think we have enough in. Dunne/Hartley/Gallagher/Tait/grim my/the new lad (forget his name)/ Livingstone at the back with mcguire and Devine as cover as well. would like to see us a bit more flush with options up the top end . Id put scott out on loan for a few months with a recall option, didn’t see enough last season to see him as a first choice, albeit I’d love him to come back in and do a turnbull/hastie albeit less the old firm move at the end of the season

Working through a couple of line ups with the players we have in my head ,it’s clear we need 1.goal scoring Centre forward 2. Left mid/winger 3. X2 right mid/wingers out of the small number of people we have been linked with, Lafferty and gboly would satisfy me in two of those positions

I can confirm this also. Been told by a club employee that Man City would be keen to put him into their academy and potentially loan back to us perfect scenario for us and builds a relationship for the future with one of the best teams in world football
