Butcher must be close to being ready . big bevis gives me the fear .

I'm a fan of our 4 man midfield - the 3 man midfield was too lightweight. 3 points please Motherwell, don't really care how we get them but 3 points are needed to inject a bit of confidence.

I don't believe there to be significant one (outside the top 4). A fit Moult would do just fine in the SPL. For the record if faced with do I sign Moult (again) or Obika (again) who's also been injured for the last xx years I would have signed Moult in a heartbeat.

If Grim and Bleak can play left back or centre forward we should sign them.

I agree with the comments that Bair & Shaw aren't good enough.Also the comments that better players should play in their natural position eg Spencer. With our current crop of fit players I'm less than convinced that the 5-3-2 works. Defensively Having Butcher, Casey, McGinn and Spencer all make sense. Not sold on S'OD as he's not pushing forward enough. Midfield Paton, Miller, Spittall & Slattery generally does work - with 2 pushing forward and 2 holding. Upfront Mika if fit works- and that's your lot. So in conclusion any formation that has 3 in midfield with our current crop of players isn't a great idea. In essence the 5-4-1 or even 4-4-2 type formation suits our current team.

Agree about Wilkinson - he's slow and doesn't have a great first touch, but more likely than Bair, Shaw to get goals.

Shaw looks devoid of all confidence . Suspect he’s more talented than we’ve witnessed . be interesting to see what Wilkinson and Mika can do together - equally I’m ok with one up front as long as it’s Mika - likes of spittal and slattery pushing up would give decent assistance

Paton and spencer both performed well . without Mika we wouldn’t have gotten a point - he nudges it for me

Assessment There's been a steady decline in performance over the last 5 games. Confidence has ebbed away and several players who were at the top of their form have gone off the boil. A few weeks ago Mubagi , Spittal , Slattery, Bair offered a lot more than they did today. There's 2 - 3 players who are simply never going to be good enough and one of them has played 100 games for us ! On the positives I look around at other teams and see a similar lack of quality . Adding Butcher, Miller, Mika to that team today will improve us and expect be good enough against most teams.

The ridiculously frustrating thing is we knew that we'd be dire until we brought Mika on. The team performance was poor - Spencer for first 60 mins was the only outlet for moving forward. Mika made a huge difference. There's a few players who simply shouldn't be back in the first team. Hopefully with Mika + Butcher coming back we can add a bit of quality that's needed.

Sadly we’re regressing on a weekly basis as an offensive unit . have we had a shot on target yet ?

Agree Mio . Bair has no positional sense and for a big lad gets pushed off the ball easily shaw looks like a player of zero confidence and zero strength . all hope is mika gets fit

Agree - complete waste of space . spencer is by a distance our most attack minded player on the pitch

Im expecting a pretty dull, industrial performance from us. With 20 mins left bring on Mika who adds the spark of quality we need. 1-0 or 2-1 will do nicely thank you chaps.

like that he doesn't shy away, takes full accountability when things go wrong and praises others when things go well. A manager with lots of common sense and honesty. Now go and get 3 points , calm us all down.

Miller was unfortunate , there was no intention to foul. it's likely that he made contact, albeit not obvious and given he was last min I can see why he was red carded. Versus their penalty (Jesus wept), Mugabi's timing of challenge was awful and took everything infront of him. I was stunned he wasn't booked . He's been solid this season but he has it in him for these moments. He must have conceded more pens than any player in recent history. The sooner Butcher is back the better for everyone. Agree with @Coatsy Wilkinson should never have been booked. Suspect his slow pace made it look a like he had taken a dive. Don't think it warranted a pen but equally never a yellow.

Big difference between quality of loanee vs perm players . id be happy enough with 3 -4 high quality loaners each year whilst focussing on bringing through our youngsters perm signings have been brutal

After a very positive start to the season , things are beginning to even out. Suspect at the end of 11 games games we'll be somewhere between 6-8th. Performances pre yesterday have been very decent so don't need to throw the baby out with the bathwater but it annoys me when we refer to losing to the top 3. Come on folks let's not include StMirren as a top 3 club. Assuming we get everyone fit I suspect we'll have a mix of 3-5-2 , 5-3-2 or 4-4-2. We need 2 up front and best guess is our 2 loanees will be our best 2 forwards. From new summer signings not seen anything from Soare, Wilkinson, Bair to make me think they're good enough. Jury out on Davor as he's not had any real game time. The opposite can be said for our loanees . All 3 look valuable and would crack on using them.

That’s the first time I’ve been with SK. A 5-4-1 formation against a team who hardly scored was odd . It was calling out for 2 up front . more maddening is it was clear we needed to change early on , energy was poor and livi were winning all the battles . should have changed shape long before the sending off . Generally the mgt have been excellent at intro game mgt but today he kept blind faith that the team would spark into action

We were rank rotten today and didn't deserve anything from the game. This is one of the few games I'd questions SK's set up ahead of the game. Playing a lone striker against the OF is understandable but not against Livi. It was also clear that our players had given all over last 2 games and some needed resting. After 20 mins it was obvious that the shape at best would earn a 0-0. Sending off could be questionable but he certainly gave the ref a decision. Midfield were all off their game and it took +75 mins before Paton (who has been decent but not today) got subbed. Add to that Mugabi's shockingly mis timed tack at the edge of the box. Having the type of moment we know he's likely to make. We need to see a reaction from the team and a plan B from SK when it's needed. Felt he was lazy today.

Far too many piss poor individual performances and SK has been piss poor in. Or making changes
