I agree with that, it rarely works out brining the same person back. This may be disrespectful but the best value Robbo brought to us was as a number 2. In an ideal world we'd unearth the next Alex Neil - but we couldn't lure someone of that proven ability to us. I've no real issue with having Hammell and Kerr a few games. It's a bit of a punt but then so must Alex Neil have been for Hamilton.

Please don't rehire any previous 'Well manager. With Robinson we went almost 12 months looking completely lost, he ran out of ideas GA for almost a year we played poorly , lost our way, ran out of ideas. Someone with experience who knows what to do will be fab, wound's be against someone like Hammell/Faddy as the number 2 but some experience is needed. Saw a few comments about don't expect great flowing football , I don't expect Barca but I see different games at all levels and there's plenty of entertainment, excitement when teams are well organised and play together.

There's a few options. I'd prefer to move to a back 3 we don't have a decent left back so I'd prefer to keep 3 man defence with Lamie on the left of it. Bulk up the midfield and create a bit of width .

Keep googling my way through experienced mgrs out of jobs . Martin O’Neill hasn’t managed for a few years and don’t suspect he would take this type of role but we’d benefit from someone of his calibre and experience . I’ll put my wine down now

I had a quick look at previous well players who are now managers. Lambert was the only one I could see out a job. Difficult to say , always is. Don't mind taking a few weeks to get the right person and have someone like Hammel look after things for a few weeks.

fair play to him. Very professional and complementary of the club. He has a great win ratio and will walk into another job. Completely the right thing for all parties.

be interesting to see what changes will be made on Sunday. From formation to personnel, be great to see how someone else will set out the squad.

way back when Brown and Archie Knox coming in - they really steadied the ship appreciate it went sour with the Aberdeen nonsense but a couple of older , wise pros who knew how to do it worked well . I’d like to see something similar

Honestly I've no clue who the next mgr will be but in truth is there's plenty of decent managers. Sligo for example have a guy who had them do the basics well, theres' plenty out there. Emotionally I'd love to see someone who has a 'Well background . I really like that we former players around. It's a shame Craggs didn't want to move into first team mgt as the guy was excellent with our under 21's. Be interesting to see what happens over the coming weeks.

I can't ever recall as having such a strong league position whilst performing so poorly. I thought he came close to being shown the door at the end of last season and after a sit down with the club came out and admitted he got some things wrong , with the top 6 position my sense was the club were happy to give him the benefit of the doubt but expected change. Not much has happened since (other than 2 awful performances) what doesn't help is he's not showing any signs of changing or tackling the issues, normally you expect to see new idea's , something different but the team looked tired and clean out of ideas.

The game being in Paisley takes a bit of pressure off. Can only imagine the scenes had it been at FP, protests before the game and chants for the mgr to get out. Being away from home relieves that pressure. Expect one of the teams to win with an ugly goal, either Ohara for them or Lamie for us from a set play.

I don't expect much flowing footy from either team. Suspect a defensive mistake will be the difference and someone will win 1-0..

My wife - not a football fan watched with me for 15 mins and asked if this was the first time the players knew each other . She said the team in white don’t look like a team , just a bunch of guys running round . the guys in red , the look like they have a plan . Think she nailed the issue . GA hasn’t created a team and there is no game plan .

I doubt that it's the financial impact that makes us hesitate. The question is what faith the club have in him to make good. Personally I've not liked our style of play under his stewardship - even when we were winning . We won games with 2-3 shots on goal, it was horrible to watch. When we stopped winning there's nowhere to hide with this style of play. Once the mgr has lost the dressing room it's rare for him to get it back. Gut feel is he lost the dressing room around the same time Watt left and other senior pros were dropped. The worst thing about tonight is the result wasn't remotely surprising , I don't see GA changing , the question will be whether the club have faith or not that brighter times are ahead.

I’d love Craigan to be back at FP . He called it out brilliantly tonight and was the best thing about the £15 I forked out
-
Sligo well deserve to go through - a limited team but they are a team and did the basics well .
-
This is malpas and kampman bad
-
Not laid a glove on the over 2 games goss making a difference through
-
This is about as far from a team as I’ve ever seen .

Bring dean c on pls
-
Craigen made another solid point . we have no width and no number 10 to link play - this has been an issue and no sign of addressing it
-
Shambles . 1) we offer no more of a goal threat than we did last season 2) same joke of a defence 3) midfielders are no better than what we had 4) shocking prep of pre season
-
Worth getting sod on and push him up the flanks
-
He sure has - calls out the obvious we’ve not worked their keeper we lack intensity
-
Why spittal is left mid and Morris is right mid is nonsense - that said this team are so far off being match ready
