  1. I didn't downplay anything, I said keep it factual and that neither are acceptable...
  2. So what was it? A physical altercation or threats? Neither are acceptable, but let's keep it factual
  3. Spot on...the 'wee dicks' will be propping the club up long after the 'auld dicks' are no longer able to.
  4. That's all correct...any business has the right to ban whoever they wish, from entering their premises but as I said elsewhere if they and their mates feel its unjust then the club shouldn't be surprised when they aren't happy about it
  5. The 'Union' Bears aren't political? Gie me peace
  6. No one has said the Green Brigade is the same size as the Union Bears or our lot...you've gone off on a tangent again
  7. It's amazing that you can the likeness to the Green Brigade but not the Union Bears...they all very similar attributes
  8. I think I know the individuals you're talking about here...and aye, in the past they may have got a bit too close to some of the green brigade 'off the park' if you like...however you're going back years and I think I can safely say there is no love lost between the majority of each group, considering the green brigade have a clearly visible presence in Motherwell most nights of the week. The pyro and behaviours is very much the 'ultras scene'...you'll have noticed a fairly sizeable contingent in the Hearts end on Sunday and you'll also be aware that the Union Bears behave in exactly the same manner as the Green Brigade
  9. My understanding is that they are boycotting that section, and not engaging in their usual support of the team ie flags, banners, drum etc...I was in the Main Stand and know for definite that there were young lads in there who wouldn't normally be Not having it at all, the atmosphere was dogshite until we scored, the Hearts fans were in far more bouyant mood...which can probably be corroborated by the Hearts fans jeering when the 1st rendition of a song came from the East Stand, well into the game. The drum, megaphone etc might not be your cup of tea or mine, Fir Park was definitely a quieter place without it...until we scored For as long as I've supported the club, we've had people who will behave in a way that will trigger the attention of the police...nothing new here. 3rd hand stuff...must be true Their mates have been banned from the stadium, based on 'the polis said so'...if my mates got barred from a boozer because their face didnt fit, I'd think twice about how much financial support I'd be giving that boozer in the future. Football clubs take, and always have taken, supporters passion for their team for granted. Don't know where to start with this nonsense
  10. What a garbage example...those clubs don't need or (probably) want to sell cheap tickets to weans...unfortunately we do, to ensure the clubs survival. I'm thinking of weans who's parents support the old firm, but the wean gets into 1st year, meets new pals and fancies going to Fir Park with them but can't...but he can go to Ibrox or Parkhead with his da. We are shooting ourselves in the foot
  11. What in the name of the wee man are you actually going on about? Do you genuinely think the block e/well bois/whatever they're called are all pally-wally with the Green brigade? Or are you just looking for a reaction? Recent goings on would suggest they don't like each other very much at all.
  12. It's absolutely mad that we (as in Scottish football, collectively) are making it difficult for teenagers to attend live football... Don't care what the actual reasons are for it, just think it's dreadful
  13. Excellent 1st half display...if a wee bit wasteful in the box One criticism...what are we doing to Lennon Miller? Any scout thinking he's the next big thing will be put off with us shoehorning him into whatever role it is we are asking him to do. Get him back into the middle and let him play
  14. Excellent post to be honest...absolute fantasy stuff from a few on here today
  15. They might well be...but the point still stands, the club accept cash at other areas but not at the point of entry to the ground... The cost of having a cash gate isn't large, it's absolutely miniscule
  16. This was the case pre-Caldwell though?
  17. How much can it really cost...for potentially 1 gate in each of the 4 stands to be open for, what, 2 hours between 1.30pm and 3.30pm? They accept cash at the food kiosks, in the club shop, in the hospitality suites, in the ticket office...so I'm sure whoever is taking thar cash to the bank can take the ticket money as well ffs
  18. I honestly don't care what other clubs do...if our latent support want and need a pay at the gate option then that's what our club should do. Personally I don't get to a lot of games due to my own circumstances, but on the odd occasion I get a free Saturday, the online purchase puts me off...I may be a dinosaur in that regard, but that's the way it is
  19. Lovely words but his actions since have made him intolerable...he's a total tadger and I say that as a supporter who ranks Tommy Coyne as our greatest in the modern era..a celtic man
  20. What is it that is so wrong about Dalziel Park? Changing facilities could be improved but in the main, the training pitches are excellent
  21. Some of the best coaches in the world, were shite at their given sport. Take a look at Freddy Roach...his own boxing career pales into insignificance when stacked up against what he has achieved in coaching
