If O'Donnell or Grimshaw was available I'd say we go 3-5-2 and if Watt is out playing Smith with Cole. Campbell, Maguire and Crawfordnin the middle to just kick everything. Get the ball in the box as much as possible and hope for the best. O'Hara at centre back being the one trusted to carry the ball when required and even push in to midfield at times. But given we don't seem to have anyone else to play right back i don't know what to do.

Could be related to Palermo getting chucked out the league over all sorts of dodgy dealings, all games and records declared void or something to that effect?
-
Kyle Lafferty signs for Killie, you've got to think if Robinson was still here he'd have been brought here.
-
I'm listening along on BBC, it would seem we haven't kicked a ball apart from the goal?
-
If Watt was putting away the chances he's had to go with his performances he'd be in contention for the Scotland squad (and we'd be top 6.....).
-
Near perfect experiment here. If we stay up and Killie go down we made the right appointment, if they stay up and we don't we made the wrong call. Any word on injuries etc.?
-
Well if it was ideal we'd take 12 points from the next 4 matches....
-
Same team, three points would be massive for our season. Let's get at them, an early goal could put them under real pressure.
-
I think once we're safe we should see Morrison get a few games and we'll start next season with Carson as number 1 but with Morrison getting more games time with the eventual hope of Morrison taking over as number 1 before the start of 2022/2023 season.

100%. This month could define our season. Realistically anything over 37 points will see you ahead of 11th. We're on 25. 8 games to the split and usually you need about 42 or so points by the split so that's going to be a big ask but there's no reason we can't be in and about that if we get 4 more wins this month, though to put that in perspective we would then have won as many games in February as we had to the end of January.... As you say, we'll have a much clearer idea of the season after this month ends.
-
After Celtic its Killie, Accies, St Johnstone and St Mirren. 4 wins between now and end of the season should see us safe, maybe we can get ourselves safe by the end of February....
-
That second half shows how nervy we are still but getting a result should help to ease that. Would rather not be going to Celtic Park at the weekend but we can go and give it a go.

Gallacher and his injury/contract position is a distraction at this point, what matters is 3 points tonight. I'm in the happy clapper/gullible/thinking the best of people camp and will assume he's just got a knock. Missing one game after the window shuts is hardly a sign of someone working their ticket.

Kelly, O'Donnell, Mugabi, Lamie, Carroll, Maguire, Campbell, Crawford, Watt, Cole, Long. Subs: Morrison, Foley, Smith, Johnston, Roberts, Hastie, Polworth, McGinley, Magloire Big game for Lamie and Mugabe. Makes sense as Lamie is probably the centre back that's played the most after Dec and Mugabe.
-
If Gallagher is out I would assume Nolan would come in. Id prefer someone who had trained with us for longer but I can't see Lamie or McGinley being trusted to partner Mugabe. Other than that I assume it'll be the same team as against County and hope that Long is in the mood tonight.

I was excited by Tony Watt, he was one if those fun gambles. I was also really excited for Casper Sloth, that went well....
-
Eddie Nolan in on Loan. I like that signing. Solid and experienced defender which is something we lacked.
-
Fair enough. Looking at Roberts he appears one of these players that must have something about that manager's think they can do something with but never really manages to do it. He was playing a bit of English Championship football 2 seasons ago and had a decent amount (okay not many) of games in league one down south last year so he's obviously got something about him. Though I'm not sure he's what we need.
-
Aberdeen released Curtis Main, in a bizarre twist since he's been playing regularly for them and they just sold Cosgrove.... I don't think he's what we need but he's surely a better option than some of what we have.
-
Isnt there a maximum number of loans from inside your own league? Though Foley and Crawford are permanent (if short term) signings so only Hastie is on loan right?
-
Which is really the level you would expect of someone who's probably 5th choice for a 3 man midfield for motherwell.
-
Whos playing at right back on Wednesday then?
-
Its bang out of order giving players pelters on twitter and tagging them in it and even more so to slate them to their family. That said you're not going to gain anything from sticking up for your son/partner/mate after they're tagged in a mean tweet.
-
Quite. If Foley is Davie Cooper or Graham Alexander at 34 good I'm more than happy for him to sign a 2 year deal.

Same person?
