  1. Where you getting this from? My google has them finishing 4th with 15 wins, 10 draws and 11 losses out of 36 games last year. This season they've played 2 games, won one and lost one. https://www.google.com/search?gs_ssp=eJzj4tTP1TdIszAyNDNg9BLLLC5KTM3JVCgoSs3NTC1SyElNTC9NBQC4kQtn&q=israeli+premier+league&oq=Israeli+pre&aqs=chrome.1.69i57j46j0l2.4720j0j7&client=ms-android-samsung-ss&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8#sie=lg;/g/11j8l5d5kd;2;/m/0f8216;st;fp;1;; Aye it's a tough game but where are you getting this from?
  2. I cant remember ever not being happy enough with a point at Pittodrie and if we get that today ideal. If we had won any of the United, County or Accies games we'd be comfortably middle of the table right now. And that's where we should be really. I assume it's a 3-5-2 with O'Donnell on the left as opposed to a 4-4-2 with Grimshaw in midfield. Going to try and avoid the result and watch it on Alba. I'll almost certainly fail and check at half 3, 20 to 4, half time, quarter past 4, 20 past, 25 past 4, half 4, etc up to full time .

  4. If this boy can do a job that none of the young boys can do, and that job needs done to play the way we want to play then fair enough. That's life and that fitba. Everyone is kicking off cos weve had a rotten start to the season in the league but the "model" we run has made us money and brought reasonable (which i think is a harsh qualification) success on the pitch. Every chance Crawford is mince but that's the gamble we take.
  5. We beat Coleraine, who beat maribor and I'd expect Maribor to beat Hapoel and the winners of Pilzen and The Danish mob. Hence we're going to the group stages.
  6. Aye, that photo is shocking. That no one had the wherewithal to say "hang on a minute, how will this look?" is unbelievable.
  7. I take it we find out at lunch time if we're home or away if we make it past Hapoel.
  8. I've calmed down a bit now, the pitch was appalling and it did hurt us, they managed it a lot better than us and when our energy dropped off at 2-0 up they took advantage of it. The important thing is we're through and we see how it goes next week. Who knows what the arrangements will be for the tie, we might get lucky and get a bye....
  9. Aye the silver lining to this pandemic is not being in northern Ireland right now having taken holidays to go watch that.
  10. At least tomorrow we can find out who we aren't playing in the play off round. To go to bed on a positive at least we didnt totally capitulate after going down to 10 men and conceding the late equaliser. I dont understand how we can be bigger, fitter and faster and still pick up less second balls against a part time side. Anyway Aberdeen on Sunday .
  11. If it was bad players I'd excuse it but theres decent players in that side. Carson is a good keeper, gallacher and O'Donnell are good players, Campbell obviously and Polworth and O'Hara are good enough for this level, and I think Land, Long and Watt are all decent players. So that should be enough to be a whole lot better than that. The problem is deeper than not having good enough players.
  12. I said if we get an early goal it would be comfortable..... I'm a happy clapper in general and a big Robinson fan but that was dreadful and we need to consider what our plan is cos this isnt good enough.
  13. Fuck me this has been dreadful. Though the stream quality has been excellent.
  14. We could be out of sight, been a scrappy but exciting tie so far.
  15. Randolph was given several contract extensions probably at wages higher than we should really have been paying on the assumption that someone would come in for him, same with Hutchinson. The fact that no one did was a reflection on the english clubs scouting system at the time. That appears to have changed and theres now a realisation at some clubs that there are bargains to he had buying from non old firm SPL clubs.
  16. Its one of the best ties we could have got, they're top end Scottish championship level, this is equivalent to the Dundee cup game from January. If we can get an early goal we should be fairly comfortable. It's a big if though. Draw for the play off round tomorrow so let's hope we have some interest in that and we can get excited about what a win next Thursday would mean.
  17. I imagine we'll start the same as Saturday unless theres any other injuries. Obviously White is out 4 weeks with the concussion he picked up so more room on the bench but that apart I cant see Robinson changing much. Unless he decides to drop Lamie and bring in MacGuire but hes been reluctant to do that so far.
  18. Today was all about getting a result. We did that. Just. Wont get three points often with that sort of performance but we've got our first win. On to Thursday where a better performance is required but again the result is more important.
  19. Of course, but the issue is in the level. They are being s cautious that they will learn nothing from the first run, there's a number between 1.5% and 50% that hits the right balance. The event at Murrayfield last week (2 weeks ago?) was 700 fans in a 67,000 seat stadium, this is no progress on that, if anything it's a backwards step.Lessons from there could be incorporated and tested with a denser crowd although with a very small increase in bodies say 1000 fans at Pittodrie and slightly less at Victoria Park. It just feels like a wasted opportunity.
  20. I really don't see what useful data you can get from running a trial with 300 people, at Pittodrie that's 1.5% capacity or something like that. Closer to 3% at Victoria Park but still I don't think that's going to offer any useful insight into how to manage crowds under new rules/protocols. It does seem to be a political exercise, being cautious plays well with the public just now but there is a turn in attitude and people are definitely less forgiving of restrictions than they were. This smacks of being a token gesture to look like progress is being made but is so low risk to not actually be a worthwhile exercise.
  21. I seriously doubt that a guy who has Motherwell as the high point of his career at 29 years old is going to be back with his tail between his legs because he didn't make the (admittedly very poor) Scotland starting team.
  22. Can see Wigan offering Lang instead of any sell on due to their situation (assuming the sell on is of any value).
  23. Surprisingly not, single game like the qualifiers.
  24. On current form yeah but if we weren't playing like shite I dont think it's that wild. We have one legged ties against a team we should beat, a team about Aberdeen level and TBC team that will probably be about Rangers/Celtic level. Not likely bit certainly not out with the realm of possibility.
  25. A bridge over the railway at that location would cut the walk from Fir Park to about a third of a mile. A train station right at the ground would be great except for when Rangers and Celtic come and make fan management a disaster. Also it would be exactly halfway between Motherwell and Shieldmuir so about a mile from each, there really wouldn't be the need for another train station.
