  1. Too many points still up for grabs, yes we’ve been playing badly but others could also falter before the season ends.
  2. 69.1% possession, 100% clueless. seem unable or unwilling to break through a defence, kept trying something - but I’m still not sure what it was - current top of the list is they were trying to piss me off, which they succeeded The “joys” of watching Motherwell
  3. Don’t think he didn’t like running just couldn’t run, even when he tried he seemed to be going backwards - was a real pity the guy has talent.
  4. Within that time we’ve also had players who have left us for “bigger” clubs - with a varying degree of success- before making their first team debut. Which, although it doesn’t help the first team, it does make our academy a more attractive option for youngsters and their parents, with a potential of future development fees if they progress and are sold on.
  5. Strange game today, to still be in the game 2-1 down at 90 minutes hoping for just 1 chance, a bit of magic or luck or anything to get a draw was more than I expected and very welcoming but it still wasn’t a great performance so their 3rd goal didn’t leave me pissed off more meh, there you go. There were some good things about our performance that has me positive about the rest of the season but by feck the defence needs to get better at tracking players rather than passing them on to another player and moving away to cover another area.
  6. Was between Armstrong and Sparrow for me, Armstrong edged it with the goal.
  7. Listen, he will say this only once…or twice….or maybe even a third time - copy, paste, repeat
  8. Weekly SK has held interviews with the club media and the press where he’s talked about many things but this week he’s been very quiet. I do think it would be helpful to hear from him but that doesn’t seem likely at the moment. Possibly he’s just getting his head around what’s happened, needs time to process things, has a bout of depression or is just sitting back watching it all with a smile on his face. We don’t know and hopefully it’s not depression that he’s suffering from.
  9. Sadly, if you look at most teams in the SPLF, a few of their first team regulars - and possibly better players - are loan players due to the fact they’re cheaper options because their parent club pays a fair chunk of their wages. We’re not alone in using loan players but appear to get those that either don’t suit our style, aren’t ready for 1st team football, don’t have an interest in being here or just aren’t good enough.
  10. Heard it’s apparently happening, if only we had the cash for him or another similar.
  11. Tbh a 4-2 defeat to them on Sunday would probably flatter us.
  12. If family members hearing some abuse that their partner/parent gets when their decisions/indecision cause distress to people who give a fuck about what’s happening is what it takes for a manager to resign, I hope some of my managers bring their family to work and let them mingle with some of the folk I work with.
  13. No, had a shit day and your stupid statement topped it off so I want to know was it a serious statement or just badly worded - but thanks for asking.
  14. You’re the one saying staff shouldn’t take aim at fans no matter what they say. I personally believe that’s out of order so wanted to know if you meant it.
  15. Theoretically speaking what if one of our players mate plays for an opposing team and their kid has cancer, a small minority of our fans are being abusive to him regarding this and after the game our player says publicly that it’s out of order and disgusting - is that still a no from you?
  16. The clubs website shows 6 directors the chairman, the chief executive, finance director - both club employees - and 3 others, 2 of whom I presume are WS appointed.
  17. Not a lot, that’s the job of the Motherwell board which obviously has 2 WS members on it. I’m a member of the society but firmly believe that the two boards have two jobs and apart from working together on certain things they shouldn’t interfere with the others role. edit: I’ve no doubt there are some who think that the WS should have a vote to rubber stamp any appointment
  18. Find that strange as I’m sure 99% of the fans wouldn’t have known who his family was. Although I have no way of knowing if that’s true or not. As you’ve heard about this, can you confirm if was aimed at his family or did they hear the abuse aimed at him?
  19. Sitting very close to his family at FP I’ve never heard anything aimed at them.
  20. 100%, all most of us want him to do is manage the team he has available to him, change his style to suit what’s available and effect in game management of situations that arise during the game. Take each game one at a time during this injury crisis and stop sticking to the same game plan he’d use if he had a full fit team because it ain’t working. If he sticks religiously to what he’s doing and we stay up by the skin of our teeth - which is no way a given at this moment - I’d be tempted to say goodbye and thanks for your efforts but it’s time for a change.
  21. Piss poor passing and inability to hold a ball is killing us - add TW piss poor finishing
  22. Agree that it was a bad challenge, guy doesn’t attempt to go for the ball and just backs into Gordon knowing he’s jumping so flipping him head first into the ground which has the potential to seriously hurt him.
  23. Predicting a win, loss or draw is becoming nearly impossible.
  24. Normally missing a game because I’m night shift pisses me off but driving in at 7:30 last night I was not bothered and having watched the sportscene highlights and read the comments here, I’m glad I missed the game. That said getting a point appears to be a great result.
