I’d love to see us get a big commanding CB who also causes opposition defenders a problem at set pieces - one can but dream

Re payments it appears what I was thinking about is a solidarity payment which is distributed as This 5% is then distributed proportionally among all clubs that trained the player between the ages of 12 and 23 There are calls to increase this to 8% aside from that I also came across this from the union of European clubs - whoever they are - which proposes a player development reward which won’t generate much for us at the moment but is a good idea This policy calls for UEFA to allocate at least 5% of its annual Club Competition revenues to a new financial mechanism that would directly benefit clubs that train and develop the players competing in UEFA Club Competitions, regardless of whether those clubs are participating themselves.
-
I’ll need to check but I thought a % of every transfer up to a certain age was split between the clubs that had developed the player.
-
I’m assuming that no matter what he’s sold for we still get a development fee.
-
I’m assuming the sell on clause will be a % of anything above the original price paid I.e. we only get a % of anything above £3.?? M. I might be wrong but I thought we go nothing when DT left Celtic.

Rangers have been vulnerable at home this season and are a poor squad but I think under their new manager they’re starting to get better so I’m not overly optimistic about getting anything today and sadly I can’t see a 2 or 3 goal defeat - hopefully I’m wrong.

I find it hilarious at work this season listening to fans of both the arse cheeks arguing about who’s teams worse, who’s boards making a bigger backside of things and who’s got the worst most clueless manager. Love sitting watching them going tonto and just when they’re all just about spent with their wrath, chucking in another wee grenade and watching them all lose it again

Amazing how this season Saturday’s can’t come quick enough.
-
He didn’t fit into Celtics fast style when he was there and although we don’t move forward fast, I’m not sure he’d fit into our style. That sead I’m happy to take him and see how it goes.

Maybe no Motherwell fans bothered to comment?

I don’t know about the blanket but they need to tell the players that if you don’t get your body over the ball when shooting the ball’s going to go over the bar so stop taking shots if you’re not set correctly or the balls getting away from you and pass to someone else. The amount of shots over the bar is really pissing me off.

To much shit written about this guy on here already - doesn’t deserve his own thread for being sacked from another club.
-
My minimum of 12 points achieved, hopefully 15 by Saturday night - fingers crossed

So fuckin true, still get annoyed when I hear that cunt Sinclair’s name.
-
only 80% is shocking, the teams slacking and need a kick up the arse - we had 93% the other week! On a serious note another point and another clean sheet away from home ain’t that bad.
-
Luckily most of our game is played on the ground although I agree that the swirling wind will cause problems and mistakes as passes go astray
-
The header being a sitter is a load of nonsense and the first goal was made by his willingness to go for the ball, get in front of the defender and flick it out to the runner. Might not score as much as we - and him - would like but he does contribute.
-
Know exactly what you mean but I’m starting to worry that we’re starting to expect top class entertainment and might run the risk that some over the top fans start feeling entitled and those are the ones who will be first to start abusing players they feel aren’t doing their bit when it’s still 0-0 after 60 minutes (so probably sooner).

Hardly a clanger, he was under pressure with a Celtic player closing him down, didn’t have time to control the ball and tried the short pass rather that a punt. As has been said before it’s the type of pass that is made and messed up by other players throughout a game but since it seldom leads to a goal is forgotten about and if it had came off would have taken five Celtic players out of the game - risk and reward. Trying to punt it could have led to it being charged down by the Celtic player rushing in on him leading to a goal anyway as is seen sometimes in games. So in short, yes it was a poor and unfortunate pass and percentage wise probably the wrong choice but in my view not a clanger.

Maybe having a couple of days back home with his family? edit: awe god just got ur “joke”

I’d accept 8 from the remaining games but 9,10 or 12 isn’t unthinkable which is phenomenal to be able to even think about that happening.
-
That idiot should have been looking at this game and seeing the difference between Hanley and Welsh, should have been thinking I’d maybe be best to give Welsh a game in the next friendly to see how he fits in. Unfortunately he’ll stick with Hanley.
-
Though I can see and agree with your point, the offside part of VAR is the only part that the guys in the VAR control room can’t easily fuck up - although they have managed it at times - any attempt to change it would be a disaster.

It would be crazy to train the youths to play a different style from the seniors as it would make integrating them into the seniors difficult.

Up until tonight I never thought I’d be picking him but Priestman for me.
