  1. Ok so I’ve had a quick - we’ll not really that quick by the time I’d finished - look at this to see what could happen, firstly up to the split, Celtic win all their games apart from us - 72pts Hearts win all their games apart us - 72pts we win all our games - 68pts Rangers win all their games apart from the Celtic game - 67pts Post split: we win all our games - max 83pts Celtic win only 3 games and lose to us and any other team - max 81pts Hearts win all their games apart from against Rangers and us - max 81pts Rangers win all of their games apart from against us - max 79pts Obviously there are multiple outcomes of which this is only one but if you’re a dreamer, dream on Note: disclaimer my maths ain’t all that great at times and this could be a load of 🐂 💩
  2. A rangers fan told me today that Rohl is wanted by Spurs and that “Rangers will get Jens” - fuckin delusional or what? Celtic fan says they should offer Motherwell anything they want to get him, I said we’ll start with your left ball to which he replied I’d give my right one as well if it would help.
  3. Sorry mate but I thought he wasn’t that good tonight, gave up on chasing back when he lost the ball at the first goal and too many times he turned back into trouble rather than make a pass to someone in space.
  4. Think this game is going to be a shit fest of a game, weather’s been shit all day so the park won’t be great for free flowing football.
  5. On the three decisions mentioned above did VAR get involved? I know they didn’t for the Motherwell game but don’t know about the others. If they didn’t then it brings into question their impartiality, not for the team involved but not wanting to disagree with the match referee - I do believe that there’s an unwritten agreement between them not to interfere with 50/50 decisions so not to make each other look bad - which in turn makes VAR ineffective. So my view is scrap it or let officials from another country with no bias to teams or officials do the checks.
  6. Going to be difficult to squeeze this game in, 25th feb looks most likely, depending on the cup games it could be the weekend of the next round 7th March if we’re both out or possibly around the 3rd/4th March before that round if we’re still involved or 10th/11th March before the Celtic game. Don’t really want to go further than this and definitely not into April between the last two games before the split.
  7. If he’s happy to come to us for £10k a month, welcome aboard Stephen
  8. Not so sure, that would be a £150k investment. I’d rather spend that on paying towards a player we bought in wages and hopefully get it back when we sell them.
  9. We can all relax - the bbc says we’re not selling him https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cpv7e3pnjw2o
  10. Voted for McGinn as well but pole only shows 1 vote, did you vote?
  11. Hopefully the reply is sorry but you’ve put the point in the wrong place.
  12. Out of curiosity, how often is the pitch played on? Is it only first team games or are other games played on it?
  13. We had SOD and McGinn playing CB against Celtic the other week and that didn’t turn out to bad.
  14. Really happy with that today, looked a bit ropy for the first 20 - 25 minutes and rode our luck with the offside goal and the one off the bar but afterwards there was only going to be one winner. Ward made a great save to keep the clean sheet at home record going.
  15. I never go to a game expecting a win - that’s the arse cheek’s mentality - but this season I do go with a high degree of excitement and belief that we can win for which I’m truly grateful to the players and manager for. The players ain’t world beaters but they’re committed to the manager and his plan, work extremely hard every game and deserve everything they get but I’m sure that we will have a bad day now and again which will result in a defeat. When that does happen I hope we can still get behind the team and not start being rockets. Hopefully that’s not today and our run continues and an away goal at first park continues to be as rare as one of our strikes scoring a hat trick
  16. I’ve a feeling that there’s some sort of agreement or understanding between the club, the manager and the players to see out the season. I feel that there’s players are totally onboard with JBA and are willing to wait and see how we finish the season and some may also agree to stay on if he’s stays and that the club will back their decisions. For the club it’s a win win situation as everyone’s stock will only increase (injuries avoided) and Europe could be a money spinning miracle should the core of the team remain and additions are made.
  17. Thought it was interesting when he said “in talks with his representatives “
  18. Don’t panic folks - I hear the owners have banned him from going anywhere near the microphone when the band’s setting up.
  19. I’m just getting the hang of then so it must be time to sell them
  20. I’m happy to leave that decision with JBA.
  21. New Century Bar does not bad mobbed most match days but also gets a turn with live music. I’d say that’s one.
  22. No great stand outs in any area so I’ve went for the keeper for his couple of saves and looking comfortable with the system we play.
  23. Not knocking him but I believe that this is partly due to him going down very easily and winning free kicks rather than him actually being fouled. Not that it’s a bad thing at times but he does seem to do it rather a lot.
  24. Offered nothing? More like given nothing
  25. Robinson ruling himself out of the Aberdeen job, 2-0 down against a 10 man Hearts team. StMirren heading for relegation troubles.
