Absolutely brilliant Well!!!! Semi Final to look forward to and stuffed that prick Goodwin 😂 -
Yeah, and me too, expressing my personal opinion of he’s leaving so bye bye???
-
Who cares? Not me, he’s leaving so bye bye friend.
-
Don’t know if this has been raised end Jan or not, if it has then sorry for repeating, interested to know given our dire finances, with Turnbull exiting the ugly sister at Parkhead are we due any % of the reported £2m? If so I say we use it to resign Spittal and buy some grass seed for the field. Who’s in the know?
-
Aye but we’re 9th in the table fighting relegation so our defence is shite
-
Who are you kidding? Rodger’s will be rubbing his hands in anticipation, I fully expect we will be royally pumped if we play like the clueless kettle tactics of today..ie none No creativity, Davor on his own in the middle, Casey decent, Devine okay, SOD a pushover, Tarts passed us off the pitch today.
-
I have been in, and am still in the camp to get rid of SK, his again shown lack of tactical nouce n complete inability of have a plan B yet again so well shown last night in that shit show performance, but the financial mess we are in after spending a reported £1 million on a pitch that’s a mess, money on a women’s team that does sweet feck all for the club, n shite recruitment dictates we can’t afford to sack SK, we have to just hope that we get 10th, get rid of the dross that’s taking a bigger wage the Obika, Kelly, and Odonnell’s of this world, and try n sign Gent on a perm deal, resign Slattery and pull out the stops to resign Spittal n extend McGinn who have been our best players n if someone offers money for Bair punt him, he’s scored 8 but missed at least 20 sitters, he’s just not a natural centre forward. Anyway enough of my moan and here’s hoping for 10th this season n move on to next year…with a CExec, new manager n new recruitment chief!
-
Think I know who’s being dramatic ‘n it certainly ain’t me,, maybe go get the eye goggles checked, it’s clearly a while since you’ve been.
-
It looked blooming shocking, don’t know what game you were watching!
-
Puts us on an unbeaten run going into the basement battle!
-
Fizoxy you will be right on the cost of recruitment on the women’s team and the first team, but it is the first team for me that is Motherwell, not the women’s team and as much of the funding as possible should, in my opinion be channeled to the men’s first and reserve team, otherwise there is no Motherwell FC. My reasoning on the community aspect is how many extra female fans on the back of having a women’s team costing x£ have we accumulated/added since fan ownership? Probably not a lot seeing as our average gates are more or less the same as before. For me the unnecessary, in the current climate “nicety” that is a women’s team seems to be, in much constrained budgets in teams like Motherwell something that should be re assessed. Any perceived, or actual loss of community spirit is for me worth it to allow us to survive in the SPL, any additional as a result available funds allowing the manager…whoever he may be, to try and recruit a better quality of player than the general dross that was brought in through the summer excluding a few exceptions like Mika n Gent. As for adversity we all know on this forum that adversity has been creeping around Fir Park for years, and now may be the time that serious and needed decisions need to be made by the half of the board that remain, again adversity may have caused our inability to attract a new CEO a Chairman and of course a few better quality team members.
-
It may well be a chasing of other funds steelman, but from what the quote from the club said it appears on face value that it costs more to run the women’s team than it brings in, stick by my opinion if that’s the case then cut n run..
-
Well I’m going to be controversial here and no doubt the boo boys of this forum will start foaming but heh I dont care, I’m allowed a personal opinion:: Im a Well fan of well over 50 years held my season ticket fir many of those years, still pay for my ticket yearly despite living abroad, sit in “my seat” maybe twice a year, so I support my club, and we now have a situation that the first team is being compromised as a result of other major drains on resources, One being a women’s team, I don’t see it being successful, so it’s for me a PC pet project that we can ill afford to continue to support. I don’t know how much each year goes into the project, but it’s considerable £££ for a club our size, it’s not the EPL we operate in, here it’s more like the English 6th tier that our turnover relates too. So for me it’s time to cut our cloth to the first team and the young boys that we can nurture and sell on at a profit, I don’t hear us selling a women’s team player for £25k or £250k or a Turnbull money, so the women’s team is not sustainable, its a pet project that may sink as part of bigger expenses my club…ditch it. Hand grenade thrown….

Surely now, 14 games without a win, sitting 11th in the league it’s time for Kettlewell to be bumped by the board, or are the gutless board yet again going to plod on and this season get relegated? beggars believe he’s made it to a weekend before Christmas, he must be saying Ho Ho Ho FFS board…taxi for Kettle
-
Outs? Kettlewell
-
FFS we are shambolic, defend like schoolboys, no commitment, bereft of ideas, other than Mika no striker that can actually hit the target area, no plan B, Kettlewell’s time is up, drop him before we are rock bottom! I know it’s controversial but we could do a lot worse than getting Scott Brown, knows how to defend, knows commitment and a winner.
-
In a democracy you are permitted to make statements whether bold or not. So to provide you anymore explanation other than that ain’t going to happen.
-
Let’s go out with a bang against a shite United side who are bottom of the league, against a manager who thought at that point we were a basket case…as I did too but then cometh the SK revolution and the revival of our squad and the belief by KVV that he is a good striker. I would firstly love us to pump those buggers n second send Goodwin his P45 and thirdly the team to Championship football and fourthly for big Kev to score a few n pass that peado striker n be top scorer in the SPL over the season. Absolute turn around by SK well done, but now finish 7th and get ready for next season and show us what you can do for a full season with some of your own signings. Prediction for the game 3-1 Well! CMYW!!!!!!
-
I think we should try sign Vini Jnr since he’s unhappy at Real and he can play his footie at Fir Park for the next 3 seasons 🤪
-
Why the fe** do you support Motherwell? Gloom n fecking doom every week, I know we can be shite, but equally we are Motherwell so we do win the odd game…but you and your negativity drag the team down every time you post, take a happy pill mate..please!! The difference under the kettle is chalk n cheese compared to the shite served up with Hammy, most of us have lightened up but you?….take that pill for fe** sake finish the season on a high…
-
Why are they not kind to us at all? Do you think the other teams will look forward to playing us? Don’t think so! We are currently the 7th least pish team in the league and we are playing against teams other than Livi who are statistically more pish than us. Our form since the Kettle has taken over show 5 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats why would it should we fear any of the teams around us? All Well fans need to be behind the team to secure that 7th place or at the very least get those points we need to relax, be positive mate, look to the positives the Kettle has brought back to our great wee club. Glass half full not half empty!
-
Can I vote for Nick Walsh Rangers best player, n he never touched the feckin ball?
-
I agree that he offers something that we dont have up front in pace, he can be a positive assist to KVV n Obika. He defo has improved under Hammy before injury with better ball carries passing and a few goals, still guilty of not being able to control the ball but he could improve that too. Never a world beater but a decent player for us, hopefully he can get back amongst the goals for us before the end of the season. Id keep him for next year but I’m only a Football Manager from the stands so what do I know?….
