100%. Robinson will do a job at St Mirren and I fully expect them to make light work of us next game.

Yet another week without a win. Other Motherwell managers have had pelters for serving up pish like this. This guy has nothing in the tank. He needs to go. Absolutely no effort to improve. I've bit my tongue on him but he is a total and utter imposter. The arrogance in his post match interviews is verging on a par with McGhee. What will the comments be today?

Well when we can't hit the target in opportunities like the 13th minute hell mend us.
-
Straight red. Absolutely moronic tackle. Not even two mins on the clock.

Surprised to hear that. Doesn't look like many are sold going by the ticket website! Got the big game feeling. This match will make or break the rest of the season. Either it will launch is forward with a bit of excitement ie Cup football continuing and a platform to hopefully take our remaining games before the split. Surely to God this awful form can't continue for ever... If we loose...well this will be a cracking run in to the end of the season.

So the cup was a mere glimmer of hope. But the league is the bread and butter in which we haven't won in over two months. Bottom six at the lower end is looking like our deserving position.

This was disappointing and has no place at Fir Park. Been a tad ill lately so had to watch via stream so aye as you said grown pink men running down the stairs to scream is something else. But on the other hand what a cup tie. I can't believe I'm saying this but what a finish from KVV but KVV also really needs to work on his finishing. We should have buried Aberdeen by about 3 or 4 by my reckoning. A good performance but the added time has destroyed my blood pressure

Perfect cheers mate

Sorry if it's been asked but can people in Scotland view it on the club streaming site? Wasn't sure given the rights for Scottish Cup were held by Premier rather than Sky who allow it.

This fixture fills me with dread. Make or break the rest of the season. With all league indications pointing to a mediocre mid table ending this could add some excitement to the mix. Hopefully Alexander has done some serious homework because as much as Aberdeen are guff they have potential to dish out an absolute drubbing, which we've not had in a while off them. As for a starting lineup...who knows.

This is reminding me of that John Hughe's Hibs team (2010 was it?). Strong start to the season then an utter collapse from December onwards. It's all starting to get a bit sore. The reality is we will be sitting mid February having not won a league game since December and if I was sticking money on anyone for Saturday it sure as hell wouldn't be this lot. Only Dundee are worse than us over the course of the last six matches and our goal difference is the worst in the league. That said we are like a cat with nine lives. Everytime we make an a*** of it Hibs and Aberdeen seem to follow suit.

Agreed. However I am surprised that the PoD is being renovated as opposed to looking at investing in a replacement. With the wooden decking and the facilities underneath holding the club back I'd be prioritising replacing it with something of similar design to the Cooper stand whcih wouldnt break the bank whilst allowing the club to maximise commercial operations at the stadium. That aside we have spoken about the training academy in the past, in fact I'm sure through thr MFC community trust detailed plans were put together a few years ago...

Thank god everyone else is drawing. Mind you that small comfort is only putting a plaster on it as we've rode our luck with other results going our way for 3 weeks now. With Celtic on Sunday the lack of goals in the last few matches is going to start taking its toll

Gave the referee a decision to make. Moronic.

Anyone else get sick of reading pish like this?

I don't have any quams about coming away from Edinburgh with a point. Didn't see the game personally but I see KVV getting some stick over on some of the Facebook pages. Is it deserved?

Second half has been less than impressive. That said it is challenging out there. Alot of surface water almost ruling out playing on the deck. Glad Stephen Odonnell found his cockup on thy back post at about 81 mins funny. I'm sure our opposition find his general lack of ability and decision making equally hilarious.
-
Absolutely. And given they were allowed to continue with their "still same club" patter then Sevco should have been forced to settle all Rangers' debt. Given there were no doubt clubs ahead of them in the wait to be granted Scottish Football League status even being fast tracked in to the then third division was preferential treatment. Scottish society missed an opportunity to wipe out one of our biggest poisons when this all happened. But that's all in the past now. That aside draw would be good today for us to kick on. The rut at the moment hasn't been impressive given a strong start to the season. We cannot afford to be as lacklustre in midfield today as we have been or that lot will express right through. Happy to park the bus today to an extent and hit them on the break if the opportunity ever arises. That approach kept Accies in the top flight for long enough after all. Although under Alexander it has been clear that we aren't playing a possession game - stats clearly show that - but today we cannot allow them to have 75,80 percent of the ball.

Must be one of the few occasions I'm not actually that annoyed about the refereeing decisions as the collapse in the late second half totally merited us getting horsed never mind a draw. Our defence at the end of the day allows continuous St Mirren presence in our box and that is the source of my anger from the game. Aye I'm pissed off about the ref but more so about our approach to the game and performance.
-
Only one stat matters, but the BBC stats make for grim reading...had St Mirren come away with more than a draw then it would hardly been against the run of it.
-
I watched it on TV, I really don't think both feet were off his line
-
Don't think the penalty should have been retaken but regardless of the cock up by the officials the utter collapse within the last few minutes is unexcusable. That defending for both the goal and the penalty was utterly shocking.
-
This is on a par with some of the absolute tripe we were served up last year. Disinterested, lobbing the ball and the hapless passing the ball backward. An absolute rollicking needed at half time. Absolutely no evidence of any fight or grit in this first half.

What's he done now?
