Just like last week great to be ahead but you just know what’s coming. Bair has come on leaps and bounds since Christmas.

For games against the OF I think we do lack bottle as a club. Regardless of who the manager is or what players we have our mentality in these games is wrong. Forget narrowly losing to Celtic in September, we still lost. Forget almost scraping a draw against Celtic last week, we didn’t, we still lost. It is over twenty years since we recorded a league victory over Rangers and our last win against them was over six years ago. It’s over eight years since we beat Celtic in any competition. I know we are not going to compete against either of them over the course of a season but it does my head in seeing other sides manage to pick up results against them here and there while we never can these days. Please don’t anyone try and raise me games from the 1990s or when it was still legal to smoke indoors to support an argument that our record against the OF isn’t as bad as I am making out. It is. It clearly is and I would give anything for that to change today, as unlikely as it is.

A point tomorrow would be tremendous. Three would be out of this world stuff. They’ll have too much for us unfortunately and we don’t have the quality or the bottle to get anything.

Not for me it isn’t.

I hope Clement and Rangers win the title this season, because that will mean that Celtic and that creepy, condescending prick of a manager of theirs won’t win it. I make no apology for that. I hope we beat them on Saturday mind you, as unlikely as that is.

They’re on a great run of form and seem rejuvenated under Philippe Clement’s management. They are well drilled, efficient and a very good team.

It’ll be another narrow defeat and a ‘brave’ performance I reckon. Most likely a 2-1 win for Big Phil’s smooth, well oiled winning machine.

That’s a potentially season defining result. It looked bleak at half time with the same old story but we grew into it and deservedly won. Again Blair Spittal shows that he is absolutely crucial to us and hopefully we can get him on an extended deal asap.

100% We aren’t good enough to sit in and let them come at us. We need to kill this off if we can.

It wouldn’t matter if they did. Every Rangers player is better than our equivalent and their budget is x,y and z times higher and we should be grateful to remember Willie Falconer scoring a header to beat them and getting mud all over his top…. as I type… Nicholson!!!!!

Dismal stuff so far. We are a shambles at the back and have nothing in midfield. If we scrape a point here we’ll be laughing.

Absolutely and in all honesty if we can’t beat Livingston then we deserve to be in the playoffs. We all know we will get nothing at Ibrox on Saturday and we’ll do well to get a draw at home to Aberdeen in the next fixture so tonight is vital that we take all three points. Sadly I’ve got no faith in us whatsoever to win.

That’s the thing that gets me too, the length of the injuries. It’s never a wee niggle here or there that causes the player to have to go off as a precaution or keeps them out for a couple of games it’s month or more long layoffs. It could be simply down to bad luck but that would be seriously, seriously bad luck happening to several different players. That would suggest there is another issue.
