Folk were dancing on the tables in the New Century singing Twist & Shout. They actually stopped serving alcohol for an hour. đ

His finest moment as our Chief. He genuinely fought our corner and stood our ground where many of his predecessors would have folded and given Rangers whatever allocation they wanted.
-
I know itâs been said many times but Iâll say it again. Having an âoutsiderâ in charge like Baraclough who didnât pander to Rangers and allow us to play the name rather than the team in front of us was a major reason why we won that playoff. His predecessor and opposite number in those games would have had us beaten before the team bus left Fir Park and the fact that it was McCall in their dugout made that all the more satisfying given the number of big games we had bottled under his watch.

The feeling when Ainsworth scored to make it 3-0 at the start of the second half was one of the best Iâve ever had following Motherwell. It was actually hard to believe it was really happening at the time seeing us 3-0 up at Ibrox, limbs going everywhere in our end while the rest of the ground sat in utter disbelief and despair. I still thought weâd somehow blow it though and that didnât change until we went 2-0 up at Fir Park on the Sunday.

âas he was running out of ideasâ I think that that was patently obvious and I suspect Kettlewell, like Alexander before him, realised this too. And had he just left rather than creating this smokescreen about fan abuse being the reason he had to leave then I donât think there would be half the amount of bad feeling towards him now. Unfortunately he chose to go down that route and to compound matters the club, WS and certain players aided his crusade by jumping on the same bandwagon. I actually liked him while he was with us even though it was clear he had ran his course, but he soured that with his bullshit about why he decided to leave. Donât kid a kidder.
-
Oh yeah of course he has and all the more impressive when you consider that every side he plays against donât have anywhere near the resources his own do and so therefore canât afford to have players able to compete with him. Letâs all hail Callum đ

Heâs another arrogant, flat track bully who has made a career out of getting it so easy at Celtic and having referees too scared to book him in fear of upsetting his club. Iâve never liked him since his dive to win a penalty against us at FP in November 2017 and seeing him broken after losing ONE cup final the other day was very satisfying.
-
It was probably McGhee second time around but I strongly suspected at the time and still do that that was more down to our âold pals policyâ rather than going for a safe pair of hands.
-
Killie going for the poundshop Derek McInnes to replace the genuine article who has of course moved on to bigger and better things. His beard is far superior as well. I had no axe to grind with Kettlewell until he spouted his pish about abuse being the reason he chucked it with us. Now I wish him and his new club nothing but failure.

You wouldnât put it past us.

As much as it's great to see Celtic and that arrogant shark faced wank of a manager taken down a peg I take no satisfaction in a non Old Firm side winning silverware while our wait goes on. If we can't have our day at Hampden lifting the trophy then I don't want anyone else to have theirs. Plus Aberdeen and their supporters are obnoxious insufferable arseholes.

âEuropeâ for us is great on paper but in reality it is us playing two glorified friendlies which either end in anti-climax or utter humiliation. Give me the league cup group stages over that any day of the week. Winning a trophy, Scottish Cup or the League Cup would be the ultimate achievement for us. Weâre never going to win the League title obviously but the Cups give you that outside chance of tangible success and that for me would piss all over any âEuropean tourâ and all that crap.
-
Absolutely and why we insist on buggering about with our home kit and colours baffles me. You donât see Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs or Dundee Utd straying from their core home kits like we do with last seasons or the horrific âthrowbackâ effort from a few years ago.
-
Alexander left almost three years ago. Get over it.
-
Care to expand on that?

Wimmerâs appointment always had a strange feel about it and never felt like it would last long. What we need next is some stability.
-
I would like it to be Scott Brown. I would not like it to be Simo Valakari.
-
The Daily Record site saying the same. The club tried to persuade him to stay but he wanted to go back to Germany. Fair enough, we all move on.
-
Can we just bin any suggestions of Simo Valakari right now? He is not what we need. Personally I would love us to go for Scott Brown but thereâs no chance of that as we wouldnât pay compensation for him. I wouldnât be against Tony Docherty either mind you.
-
Steven Naismith anyone?
-
Looking like Wimmer is offski right enough. Hands up who never saw that comingâŚ

Dracula heided prick

Special mention to Scott McDonald today on the 20th anniversary of Skippy Sunday/Celtic humiliation day.
-
Itâs ruining football. It is far too jobsworth-like and rather than intervening to correct clear and obvious errors by onfield officials it is too often going back to earlier phases of play to almost forensic examine everything that happens in the build up to goals/penalties to find even the most minuscule infringement. Get rid ASAP

I wouldnât put it past us to bring out a jersey with that written on the inside of the collar.
